DHS Hurricane Hao

Review of DHS Hurricane HaoYes, the control is very good for short game up to about 4 feet away from the table. More than that your return shots will be quite weak. It lacks power and does not feel threatening at all to your opponent. RPB is easy to execute cos of the longer dwell time though it is more for spinny loopings rather than fast loopings. The Ma Lin Extra Off is a better blade overall and provides more power and about the same control too. Nittaku Feminist

Review of Nittaku FeministI am surprised this blade didnt get more attention. It's very good! This is a Blade meant for Female players due to its comfortable smaller handle and light weight; but it is also excellent for male players who dont want the typical heavy blade that hampers their response time during match play.Very fast Blade with excellent control. With my wrist, I am able to direct the ball almost everywhere I want it to. Yes, the control is that good with this Feminist blade. It has 2 layers of Carbon so it is also powerful when you need the power away from the table. With a strong FH Rubber, you can loop quite easily and cause trauma to your opponents. The moment you unleash a powerful loop, see the horror on your opponents' faces as the ball flies beyond their reach. You can use it with Short Pips too as it is a hard blade. If you have good short pip technique, this is a very solid Blade to use too. Blocking is often in control and easy to execute. Due to its comfortable light weight, I am able to stick another rubber behind and use it as RPB....and it is still very light! Dont let the FEMINIST word get in the way. This is a solid JPEN from Nittaku that really surprised me and my male friends. You wont find a better JPEN for the price. GO for it! Jul 18, 2020

Stiga Infinity VPS V Diamond Touch

Review of Stiga Infinity VPS V Diamond Touchsome said it lacks power...others said it is powerful enough. So I tried my friend's Stiga Infinity and see who is right. Verdict: Yes, it DOES lack power from 1metre away the table. This is a pretty slow blade too. the only good thing I like about it is the CONTROL...which is the trade off you get at the expense of power and speed. My Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive is a lot better and cheaper too! Tibhar H-1-9

Review of Tibhar H-1-9When you buy a 1 ply hinoki Blade, what you'd want is power cos that's what Hinoki is famous for. Sadly this Blade is pretty weak when compared to other more well known Hinoki brands. It has decent control and that's pretty much it.Sep 13, 2020

TSP Hino-Carbon Power
Review of TSP Hino-Carbon PowerMore powerful and faster than Timo Boll ALC yet still has good control surprisingly!. Very spinny during loopings. This blade is good for short game too. This is my first blade with Hinoki, and I like it. Very little vibration. This is also a very powerful Blade for medium to far from table playing. You can hit from more 7 feet away and the ball will cause severe problems to the opponents thanks to the 2 layers of Carbon. The Carbons are activated only when you hit it hard. For short game, the softer Hinoki really shines here. You dont have to struggle to push the ball no matter what the opponent does to you cause the Hinoki is able to absorb a lot of the spins. I think TSP really nailed it with this amazing Blade. It doesnt matter if you buy the CPEN or Handshake model cos both are equally good. I am surprised this blade didnt get the recognition it deserves. For me this blade is on par with Timo Boll ALC in terms of quality performance but at at lower price. If you are thinking of buying this blade, go for it! Feb 25, 2020

Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive
Review of Yasaka Ma Lin Extra OffensiveI have the CPEN version. When I first used it 4 months ago, I didnt like it cos it felt too 'weak' for me. Maybe that's cos I was using a very hard JPEN with short pimples so I got used to the ferocious power. I didnt use The MA LIN much after that, but TODAY.... after some thought, I took it out and did some heavy and fast LOOPING with it. WOW.... what a beast ! The blade immediately felt like a Bullet flying out from a gun! My 2 regular sparring players were stunned at the speed and insane amount of spin this Blade produced. Here's the thing you need to know about using this blade: You NEED to go all out with your LOOPING....with proper LEG power technique involved to give the velocity required to be unleashed on this blade. If you can do it correctly, you will be rewarded with delightfully fast and powerful looping that will torment all your opponents! This blade is not for the lazy player. It demands an aggressive approach for it to be fully utilised. It has average flex...which is good for returning hard smashes so that the ball doesnt fly out of the table. The weight is still pretty light with 2 inverted rubbers on it. When I used RPB with it, it was easily executed. I tried the Handshake version too....and it is equally good. Overall... this blade is good only if your technique is solid. Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced players only. NOT for beginners. Jul 01, 2019

Yinhe 981

Review of Yinhe 981This blade is way too fast. Control is not good. Though they listed the blade to be 90grams +-5, mine was a ridiculously heavy 110grams! Dont trust any listing that said it is only 90grams.Forget about looping cos it is really hard to do it. This is meant for fast hitters or smashers. The only good thing about this blade is the low price. Jul 19, 2020
