This 5-ply Hinoki blade fills a need in the Butterfly line, in replacing the discontinued and very popular Power Drive blade. All five plies are Hinoki wood and these H.S. Cryzer blades are fast with a very soft feel.

H.S. stands for Hinoki Speed

A loopers dream blade. A great feeling large flared handle. This blade is flexi-fast with nice ball feedback. Great build quality. Match it with Tenergy or Sriver rubbers for outstanding offense. It's a mystery why Butterfly stopped making it.

I thought it will be faster so i got scared at first. it's a slightly passive hinoki, the plys are kind of thick where the Hinoki is, and it shows it's not bouncy or too stiff. But i didnt feel it too soft as others have said. For me, it's a very balanced stiffness.. cuz the blade's structure comes from the inside, and the outside is soft but not defensive soft. you really don't think of this when you play. I felt like the blade was lighter, but i did think it was odd that i couldn't swing it as easy as i thought i would. But i didnt feel anything heavy inside. Until i saw that is 85g! I have other 85g blades and they feel wayyy stiffer, heavier, harder and more durable. This one is quality, yes durable because it's that old Butterfly quality If You had one from any series from this era you know exactly what i'm talking about, and so, it's not like a balsa soft or a cheap chinese soft, it's very structurally solid but It's nicely crafted. IT feels like the whole paddle with the handle 100% of it was hydrodipped in a thick, soft hinoki. so much that it became only this. in reality, i think that it doesn't have anything heavy inside. I think its just the Density of the Hinoki used. and it's not that Bulky or thick the whole blade, believe me. I mean it's not perfect or something i would make my main blade, but It's just a little bit more quality than just "okay", it's just that is not for someone like a brick wall, even though it may seem like it, it's only for a swing/looper or away from the table style of play. i would rate it's maneuvrability in the 6.9 range, Stiga Hans Alser is slower, more maneuvrable in block angles, and not so soft. weight: it's not heavy at all. I's just as light as it can be made. If it was 5g lighter it would have been Best blade hands down. But i Guess they didn't want it to be. The shape of and dimensions of the blade's head is... okay, not perfect for anything like flicks or wrist tricks, but decent. except for the handle.

Great 5 ply made in Japan Hinoki blade, Now discontinued. One of the thickest comfiest FL handles, think of a faster, heavier (mine is 88g), more powerful Jonyer Hinoki . I used this on and off for a few years and have as a backup to Tibhar Stratus Powerwood. High end gear is actually faster/more powerful than the SPW and is rated OFF+ by Butterfly. Looping is very good, certainly has the power when you need it.

Very soft looping blade. Large comfortable handle. Works well with medium-hard rubbers. Has average weight, good construction and little but enough vibration to provide feedback.
