Huieson Arylate Carbon

"Beginner blade" for / into the world of ALC blades !!!! This blade in FL, selected as "extra light" for me, weighs 81 grams. She is quite stiff, medium-hard to hard and plays quite directly. (... and supports the spin behavior of rubbers!) Their relatively thin, slightly shorter handle is best suited for children !!! (- ... or for women.) A certain skill level (or talent)is definitely an advantage with this blade. (- don't forget: ALC blades plays differently than solid wood blades and therefore take a bit of getting used to.) My son, for example, didn't like this blade at all. For him were the directness and the slightly flatter ball bounce, difficult to control. (... and that although I had glued his usual rubbers on it. - even thinner sponges did´nt help.) Conclusion: Anyone, who wants to be later “a big one”, should definitely try this blade! The only negative point about this blade is that it tends to be top heavy. Therefore i recommend to choose "lighter" rubbers for it !!!
