Review of (No Brand) WHIZZ Cybershape N134Update to 01/22 !!! - Addendum: Attention please, if you have played a blade with an enlarged bat face in the past, you can assume that your rubbers can be cut to fit this blade !!!!If I had ever tested this blade (...“with a lot of vibration!”)without rubbers, in a shop, I would have put it back immediately !!! - ... but this is the "magic" Cybershape blade. ... and she is amazing !!!! Facts: Carbon inner layer blade, weight 87 g. Her blue handle fits perfect in an average (man´s) hand. The face length of this blade is actually 155 mm !!!!! ( - instead of 150mm, as stated by the seller.) Without rubbers this blade is not even allround, but with rubbers you can definitely call her an all +/ off - blade. She is hard at the touch, with a bit of vibration and nevertheless, she is rather stiff over the whole club face. I have tested this blade, with a Nittaku FastArc C-1 in 2 mm (FH) and a Donic Desto F4 in 1,8 mm (BH). - ... and I tell you, the control is outstanding ... just fantastic!!! ( - ok, ... i could use more speed, but ....) For example, I was able to respond to the opponent's counterattack with spinballs immediately after the impact (early above the table) and put the opponent immediately under pressure . Too, smashing is very, very easy !!! (- easier for me, as with any other blade!) Also behind the table the performance is very good so far, but I have to test further. Conclusion: This blade will certainly be too slow for aggressive offensive players and even extremely thick, fast rubbers are hardly a solution, because the racket face then becomes simply too top-heavy. BUT, this blade offers everyone the opportunity to explore the advantages of a Cybershape blade.(... at a reasonable price!) TRY IT !!!!!! - and let yourself be surprised. Review of (No Brand) WHIZZ Cybershape N142Addendum to 01/22: Attention please, if you have played a blade with an enlarged bat face in the past, you can assume that your rubbers can be cut to fit this blade !!!! - and by the way, this blade naturally uses carbon too.Facts: Inner layer blade with 86 gram and thin (... or better, wide but flat) black (ebony?) FL handle. Face length actually 155 mm instead of 150mm, as stated by the seller. You should not be surprised, that this blade seems to be very slowly without rubbers! - but of an All blade then becomes an OFF- blade. I promise it!!! Apart from the black handle, this blade looks just like the WHIZZ N134. She has about the same speed but this N142 is complete stiffer and has not these vibrations. (- which I did not like!) - if this blade really uses ebony as layer, it would explain it, but I fear that only the handle is made of ebony! ... like it looks. Due to the fact that this blade is "complete" stiffer, the play feeling is quite different from that of the WHIZZ N134. I felt, that N142 supports the rotation of my rubbers better but gave less control. (- ... I got tons of spin from my Gewo Nexxus EL 43 Pro!) Conclusion: WHIZZ N142 (- bough at AliExpress, Dreiser Good Sporting Store) gives you more oppotunities to select your rubbers. While N134 needs harder rubber, N142 is more versatile, stiffer, ... better for agressive players! Addendum: Actually I am waiting for a 3. and 4. Cybershape blade. One with Ebony as outer layer and another one with ... ;-P Bye, see you soon! Apr 16, 2023

Review of (No Brand) WHIZZ Cybershape EbonyAddendum (to Jan. 2022): 1. I took the rubbers off the wood again after a month and although the wood was sealed twice, the top veneer splintered !!!!!! 2. Attention please: if you have played a blade with an enlarged bat face in the past, you can assume that your rubbers can be cut to fit this blade !!!!FACTS: selected blade with 87 g., the FL handle fits perfect in an average (man´s) hand. First impressions: In contrast to the other two WHIZZ Cybershape blades I rated, this one is considerably stiffer, with a little vibration. (- and it also plays more directly!) The speed appears to be rather low here as well, but is again in the off/off range with rubbers. - strange, strange, strange!!! - sequel follows. :-/ Apr 16, 2023

Review of (No Brand) FLM Cybershape CarbonI am absolutely happy I was able to return this wood to the retailer!!! I asked the seller for a maximum weight of 87g and got a blade that weighed 86g. - ... with a medium-strong FL grip.Unfortunately, this blade is the slowest Cybershape I've ever held in my hand!!! (... out of 7 different ones.) It can definitely only be classified as all-wood and should be sanded down and sealed if possible. Conclusion: rather keep your hands off it !!! - or become a defender. ;-P Apr 16, 2023

Review of (No Brand) WHIZZ Cybershape N256Important addendum: Anyone who uses an original Stiga Cybershape (or a Stuor or Lemuria Cyber...) can also use the rubbers purchased for it on the WHIZZ Cybershape blades!!! - however, these then have to be recut. ( However, the Stiga rubbers fit very poorly on the Stuor or Lemuria Cybershapes !!! )Unfortunately, this all-wood Cybershape blade has a very slim handle that is more suitable for children and women. ( - as always purchased via AliExpress at “Dreiser Good Sporting Store”! ) Mine weighs 71g. and her head dimensions correspond to those of the other WHIZZ blades. ( - but unfortunately not those from Stuor, Lemuria or Stiga!) The veneer combination gives the blade a more indirect ball response, which is why I recommend combining it with harder rubbers. (- with the cheaper WHIZZ blades the feedback is better, the attack is harder! The speed is in the upper middle range (- the cheaper WHIZZ blades are slower!) I sealed my blade (as almost always!) with clear varnish. (- recommend I !!!) If Cybershapes weighing normally 85 - 90 g. Because they quickly become very heavy, there are few problems even with heavier rubbers due to their low weight. The blade remains quite light and I haven't noticed any top-heaviness due to the rubber so far (thank God!). Conclusion: inexpensive blade "for Cybershape beginners" who like to play softer blades. - of course, this blade is not only suitable for beginners, but also for advanced users!!! ... and control freaks. ;) Addendum: I think I'll pick up a Stiga cybershape solid wood from my dealer soon to compare. ;-P Oct 11, 2023

(No Brand) BOLI Cybershape

Review of (No Brand) BOLI CybershapeUPDATED: I once again took advantage of an offer from the "Choice" section (on AliExpress). Unfortunately, these products are obviously something like B-stock. This time I got this blade for 6 EURO, which weighs 89 g. The handle is a bit stronger this time ( - but still rather flat) and the blade dimensions are now closer to the original. - too the blade is a lot faster this time! (...now speed 8.5) The workmanship is still excellent considering the price!!! Conclusion: If you're buying this blade to experience the difference compared to a conventional blade, I definitely recommend using softer rubber (than usual!) - your performance will thank you! .... First review (Oct. 2024!): Attention, unfortunately the dimensions of this blade differ significantly from those of the origina or other "Cybershape" copys !!! I covered this blade with Palio rubbers for a friend (who wanted a "Cybershape"!) ... the AK-47 yellow and the AK-47 red. Facts: I wanted this blade with a strong handle and got a blade that weighed 84 g. Its handle is wide but not particularly thick - so "flat"! The workmanship is good, but I still sanded the edges with sandpaper. (... and although it doesn't really seem necessary, I sealed the blade with clear varnish.) The speed of this blade is not particularly high and is roughly in the all-round range. Compared to the (various) WHIZZ Cybershapes that I have also rated, I think it is a bit slower! Overall, this blade, with the Palio rubbers that I used, produces a decent result. Almost too fast for beginners, and perhaps with too little spin for advanced players! Of course, this blade offers good control and is certainly also interesting for players with long pimples. Addendum: since cybershape blades can quickly become top-heavy and heavy, the combination with the two Palio rubbers was a very good choice. Both rubbers together weighed just 80 grams!!!Jun 11, 2025

Review of Andro Synteliac VCOThe previous ratings for the speed of the blade are a mystery to me.Facts: blade with comfortable fl handle, weight 82 g. - from myself sealed with clear varnish! This blade is neither particularly fast nor particularly stiff or hard !!! After playing a "used", "tuned" Dignics 09c 1.9 mm for a while at this blade, I have tested the Victas V>22 Double Extra in 2.0 mm on the forehand side. ... which was to soft and to fast for me on my two favorite blades! A friend of mine (TTR 1800, Germany) said after a few hits to this combination, "much too slow!" For me personally, the speed is just enough, especially since I play closer to the table !!! ... but the feeling is much to soft for me. Conclusion: if, like me, you have played faster and harder blades for a long time (... with thinner rubber), you cannot switch to slower blades with thicker rubber overnight. - ... farewell to Synteliac !!! Addendum: I find the price for this blade to be too high. The previous ratings for the speed of the blade are a mystery to me. BLutenkirsche Aurora Hexagonal

Review of BLutenkirsche Aurora HexagonalActually available for 30 € by AliExpress !!! ... correct blade name: "Blütenkirsche AURORA Shield. This blade is absolutely amazing !!! - closer to the original as anything. After purchasing my second blade, I went to the next store, comparing it with the original STIGA. The 5 g. lighter Stiga, produced the same sound, had the same speed, but felt slightly softer by less control. - Insane !!! Over the years I've tested quite a few hexagonal blades under 60 Euro. (from AliExpress!) The "AURORA Shield" is the hardest, stiffest and fastest !!! ... only the Lemuria Cyber 6 and the Stuor Professional Long 5 have convinced me too. All the others are only recommended for beginners/those returning to the game or defenders. Facts: Both blades (with 85 g.) have a normal FL handle (like the Original!) and a good workmanship. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the alleged Arylathe-Carbon layer !!! ( - which normally shimmers blue.) There are also contradictory reports about the veneers used !!! It's possibly made of two outer layers of Ayous, with " ? - Carbon" underneath, and an Ayous or Paulownia core. - CAUTION: an oval "BL" metal lens on the handle might bother some players!!! I bought my blades for round 33 EURO from the "Erowsing Ping Pong World Store." My first test is a comparison (with ident. rubbers) with my Stuor Professional Long 5 Cyber. ... with Tibhar Aurus Sound (1.7 mm) and Andro Rasanter R 42 (2 mm). I'm currently playing this setup in competition against material players! ;-P RESULT: it's immediately noticeable that the Bl. A. Shield is significantly harder, stiffer and faster. The ball impact is much more direct and the ball trajectory a bit flatter. Conclusion: as always, I see it as a challenge, to find the right rubbers for this/any Cyberblade. In my experience, slightly slower and softer rubbers (than those normally used!!!) should always produce a reasonable result. - be sure! ;)Apr 28, 2026

Review of Boer LIONNOW completed! I am not sure that this blade really uses carbon !!! ... but she´s stiff, hard, quite quickly and well made. My one weighs 84 g, the average handle fits well in my hand. The racket blade dimensions are 154 x 149 mm. As always, I'll seal this blade with clear varnish and then test it with both beginners and professional rubber. - bye, see you soon. Addendum: I bought a second one of these blade. Review of Boer Dalbergia- identical to Hybrid Offensive WRB !!! ... but, this blade is definitely not offensive and has no carbon. Some dealers are so honest and even write that it is fake carbon. - Respect !!! I ordered a few of this cheap blade in China (via Aliexpress) under the designation “Dalbergia." Regarding the veneers used, unfortunately, different dealers provide varying information !!! ... so I won't go into it in detail. This blade has an extraordinarily cleanly processed racket face. However, the handle is sometimes a bit angular and must be sanded down. The sweet spot is unfortunately not particularly large! My 5 blades weighs between 82 and 87 g. The hardness as well as the stiffness and speed are medium, the control good. Conclusion: nowhere you can get a better blade for this price !!! - so, what can you do wrong ??? Try it !!! ... definitely recommended for outdoor, beginners and as well as advanced players, like bargain hunters. (Price range : between 5 and 12 Dollar) Mar 30, 2025

Boer Iron Sword Wood

Review of Boer Iron Sword WoodAbout 2 weeks ago I received a second one of these blades. This time it weighs 89 grams again, but is harder and more direct than the first one! (... which means that the speed is about 0.2 times higher than in my first rating. The handle is also very strong this time! - this blade is probably so different due to quality variation.I bought my first Iron Sword Wood (as I did again now!) in China via Ali Express. At the time, it was claimed that the blade contained carbon (- like the Cassiamea and Dalbergia from the same series), but this was later rightly retracted. (- as far as the other veneer composition is concerned, there are different statements from the various sellers!) This wood has a good finish for its price, but the striking surface should definitely be sealed and the (too angular) handle should be sanded down. The Headsize is 154 x 150 mm. Unfortunately, the sweet spot is not particularly large! My blade weighs 89 g. The hardness, stiffness and speed are in the medium range. The control is good! Conclusion: blade at a bargain price! ... perfect for outdoor use and beginners. Addendum: the Iron Sword Wood has thicker outer veneers than the Dalbergia. ( ... for more speed and hardness!) Butterfly Timo Boll ALC
Review of Butterfly Timo Boll ALCOriginally, I did not want to write a review on this blade, because I know that my blade is a bit "different" !!! It weighs only 81 grams, is slightly softer and slower than the average T. Boll ALC blade.Ultimately, however, I have decided to do so that "my readers" can better understand my reviews. When I tested this blade for the first time at a dealer (about 3 years ago), I found it too fast and too heavy. What I already noticed, however, was that the control for such a fast blade was uncanny (or incomparably high). When my (favorite) dealer offered me this 81g blade, I could not say no. I played that blade for a year and was able to really improve my game. - On the forehand side I play a Joola Rhyzm tech with 2 mm and on my back hand side, a 61 Second Eagle with 38 degree sponge in the same thickness. Fantastic !!!! Safety and sufficient speed with excellent spin. Update 08/ 2021 - I have found a blade that is very similar to this one and costs considerably less! Butterfly Zhang Jike T5000

Review of Butterfly Zhang Jike T5000Revised after 10 month: The ratings for "Control" are a pure joke to me!!! I have never had a better feel with any blade. Speed and control are in an outstanding relationship here. Facts: strong FL handle, weight 88 g. ... blade sealed with clear varnish! After I had played for some times a STUOR Nobilis ZLC Hinoki blade (which is harder, faster and more direct!), this blade happened to fall into my hands. ... glued on both sides with a Tibhar Aurus Select, with 1.7 mm sponge thickness. - and I was absolutely thrilled !!! Sufficient speed and incomparable control. - pure feeling! ... just madness. After a few weeks, I exchanged the Tibhar on the forehand side for a Nittaku Fastarc G-1 in 2 mm. - to get more rotation! Ultimately I decided on a Dignics 09c (2.1 mm). On the backhand side I'm currently using the Tenergy 64 with 1.7 mm, which I also use on my Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki. - I swapped the Aurus Select after 3 months for a TSP Ventus Speed (1,8 mm) with identiacal (45°) hardness, which has a flatter and longer trajectory. Conclusion: Every offensive player should feel comfortable with this outstanding blade. All of my friends, who played my racket, were impressed by the feedback. This blade, together with my Stuor Nobilis, is now my set number 1point2. ;) ( - I use the Stuor in competition, "with softer balls", when I want a little more speed and hardness! ;-P ... otherwise the Z.JK T5000 comes to use! ) Oct 04, 2023

Review of Donic BalsaCarbo FibreMy blade weighs 81g and its concave handle fits perfectly in the hand. In the game you immediately feel safety in all game situations. The speed is in the upper middle range and with the appropriate rubbers (medium to hard) you can act quite offensively. For me, the feeling is a bit too soft and indirect. Therefore, I prefer blades with more directness and a little more speed to work with medium-hard rubbers. Sep 09, 2018

Friendship/729 Yellow KLC Advance
Review of Friendship/729 Yellow KLC Advance... again UPDATED !!! :-D This very nice and inexpensive innerlayer blade has a fairly strong FL grip and a medium-hard ball strike. In my opinion, the feeling conveyed is a bit indirect, which means it lacks a bit of feedback. ( - however, in recent years I have generally played harder blades!) The dimensions of the blade are 157 x 150 mm and its weight is 87 g. Its speed is in the range to Off- ! Unfortunately, the workmanship is not particularly good. The woods used initially smell unpleasant and are quite soft. I also strongly recommend deburring and sealing the club face!!! As I found out in various tests with different rubbers, this blade lacks a bit of speed and feedback. ( - in comparison to my other blades.) My favorite rubber, the Dig. 09c (FH, max.), is therefore too slow on this blade. After having the Xiom Vega X (FH, 2.0) on this blade for a while, but it had too much cut for me, I finally decided on the Butterfly Glayzer 09c (max., 45 g.). ... it harmonizes perfectly with this blade! On the backhand side, the Dig. 64 (1.9 mm, 42 g.) now provides me with sufficient speed, rotation and control. Conclusion: For me, this is the most beautiful blade ever!!! ... with a small lens on the back of the handle, which is otherwise only known from Butterfly. ;-P This blade will be particularly popular with players with larger hands - and its price will please any penny pincher! Even if this blade may lack a little speed, it is absolutely recommendable if you play with more catapult-like rubbers. - also for "advanced beginners." ;) ... very controlled and pleasant to play. ( - also a Tibhar AURUS Select fits perfectly on this blade!!!) Conclusion: Ultimately, however, I think the (the much faster, harder and more direct) inner layer blades Sanwei 75 ALC and 54 inner Yellow ALC are clearly the better choice. Addendum: I ordered a second blade. It weighed 94 grams !!!!!!! :(( - i sent it back.Sep 16, 2026

Huieson Arylate Carbon
Review of Huieson Arylate Carbon"Beginner blade" for / into the world of ALC blades !!!!This blade in FL, selected as "extra light" for me, weighs 81 grams. She is quite stiff, medium-hard to hard and plays quite directly. (... and supports the spin behavior of rubbers!) Their relatively thin, slightly shorter handle is best suited for children !!! (- ... or for women.) A certain skill level (or talent)is definitely an advantage with this blade. (- don't forget: ALC blades plays differently than solid wood blades and therefore take a bit of getting used to.) My son, for example, didn't like this blade at all. For him were the directness and the slightly flatter ball bounce, difficult to control. (... and that although I had glued his usual rubbers on it. - even thinner sponges did´nt help.) Conclusion: Anyone, who wants to be later “a big one”, should definitely try this blade! The only negative point about this blade is that it tends to be top heavy. Therefore i recommend to choose "lighter" rubbers for it !!! May 24, 2023

Huieson ZLC
Review of Huieson ZLCAGAIN updated, because: the more rubbers I test on this wood, the more I realize how hard and stiff this wood is!!! - and finally I found out, how the wood is constructed. It consists of: Koto outer, ZLC, Ayous and a Paulownia core. Considering that this blade is sold with weight differences of up to about 20 grams, I wasn't sure how much meaning the different reviews would have. Mine (5 blades in total!!!) weigh 86 or 87 g. (- selected for me by: Malathorne Ping-Pong Shop on AliExpress.) 4 of the blades are very stiff, hard and fast. ...only one was a little softer and slower. The FL handle ( - almost all the same thickness !) should “fit” most players! The workmanship is very good considering the price. - however, I recommend completely rounding off all edges with some sandpaper and sealing the striking surface. The sweet spot on this blade could be a little larger, but is ultimately acceptable. With two very inexpensive rubbers, such as the LOKI ROXTON 1 and the Reactor Tornado V5, you can put together a very useful racket. (... for only 44 USD !!!) Considering the relatively high speed of the blade, the control is really very good. In my opinion, rubbers with a sponge hardness between 40 degrees (as long as they have a very firm top rubber, like a Tibhar Aurus Sound) and 47.5 degrees feel best on this blade. Even harder rubbers with a seemingly softer feel (... such as the Victas V>20 DE which is specified as 52 degrees!) are very pleasant and interesting on this blade. Conclusion: This wood is absolutely unbeatable (for its price) and recommended. - ... but not necessarily for beginners! ;-) Addendum: the handles of the blades are a bit thicker than you are used to with Lemuria or Stuor blades.Jan 15, 2025

Review of Huieson V-1I bought three of these blades in the meantime (last year and this year). The first weighed 77 g, the last two weighed 85 and 87 g. Depending on the weight, this blade can be softer or harder! Every street player or beginner is definitely well advised to buy this blade. It conveys a reasonably direct (acceptable) and controlled feel at medium tempo. In combination with better quality rubber, it is still an option even for advanced users. - I paid only 8,40 € (8,90 USD) for my last two blades (... at AliExpress) !!! :-P Addendum: I definitely recommend sealing this blade with clear varnish. - the blade surface is cleanly processed but still quite soft.Sep 26, 2023

JOOLA Nobilis PBO-c
Review of JOOLA Nobilis PBO-cI thought for a long time whether I should withdraw or correct my last review! - but since 2 days ... !!!UPDATE: Unfortunately I can only rate this blade (after the DOTZ test) without rubbers, but I can say with a clear conscience that this blade is definitely faster and stiffer than generally rated! Their structure is very reminiscent of an inner layer blade. - the two outer veneers are roughly as thick as the two outer layers of an inner layer blade !!! The feeling when the ball hits the blade is medium hard and the ball return is rather mediocre. From this it can be concluded for me that it should only deliver a decent performance in connection with rubbers above 47.5 degrees hardness! You may now be wondering why I am writing a review in the first place. - very easy! I bought a "clone" in China (via AliExpress), but in the end it is not a clone at all. This replica, sold by Stuor, has a different veneer structure and is called Nobilis SZLC (Review under "no brand"). This blade is slightly slower and plays more directly (... is therefore more versatile when it comes to the rubber selection!), As it is a little harder overall. CONCLUSION: with a price of only 44 Euro (50 Dollar), the Stuor replica is very likely (- for most!) the much better choice. May 24, 2023

Lemuria CNF (white Carbon)

Review of Lemuria CNF (white Carbon)Update on December 2020: Lemuria offers an excellent blade here !!! (...which looks like a naked Btfy. Revoldia CNF.) This replica is definitely a superbly controlled blade in the OFF range!!! I bought them from "Table Tennis Store" via "AliExpress". Like the original, this blade probably uses cellulose nanofiber layers = CNF !!! It is quite stiff, hard and conveys a very direct, safe playing feeling. - ... and REGARDLESS OF WHETHER you use SOFT OR HARD RUBBER, it always conveys a "great feeling" !!! The "extra light" blade I chose weighs 84 grams with the FL handle. Since I couldn't get a Butterfly Revoldia CNF from my favorite table tennis shop in Germany, I wasn't able to compare this replica with the original. However, compared to my original btfy. TB ALC, the Lemuria has almost the same speed, but better supports rotation development and is more controlled.By the way, a friend of mine thought that this blade has more of a "conical" handle !!! - not narrow in the middle like the usual FL grip. It is also remarkable that this blade balances very well even with heavier rubbers. CONCLUSION: INCREDIBLE OFF blade. - order and try !!! (...and if you like "pretty golden lentils on the handle, try the identical "Stuor CNF"!) Addendum: apparently this blade is absolutely not comparable to the original !!! Jan 14, 2023

Lemuria ZB (LMZB)
Review of Lemuria ZB (LMZB)Update (and correction) to 07/21: Whenever I read an interesting review about a butterfly blade, I am immediately curious about the replica of Lemuria.I bought this blade (which looks like a naked Bty. Harimoto Tomokazu Innerforce ALC) on "aliexpress.com" in China at the "Table Tennis Store." Facts: FL handle, club face 152 x 158 mm , Structure (probably): Lymph + Ayus + ALC + Ayus + ALC + Ayus + Lymph. My, selected blades (- extra light!) with ST and FL handle (... for average hands!) weighs 82 & 85 g. Although the blades are basically very well made, I removed the slightly sharp edges (on the club face and on the handle) with sandpaper. Since the opportunity arose, I compared it (at my dealer) with the original Butterfly Harimoto Tomokazu. Amazing !!! The original is about the same speed, a bit harder / more direct and thus gives better ball feedback. - the difference is probably due to the outer veneer of the Lemuria blade, which is a little thicker than the original. (... whereby the ALC layer underneath probably has less influence!) CONCLUSION: For less than 30 € you get a really good, medium-hard blade with good control. - personally, I had the best playing feeling when using rubbers up to 45 degrees sponge hardness! Update/Addendum: this blade is very similar to the Palio R57, which costs only half as much! For playing close to the table, the ZLC Version is the better choice! Oct 20, 2022

Lemuria Black GOLD (ALCZLC)
Review of Lemuria Black GOLD (ALCZLC)Update (to Oct. 2020) I have to honestly admit that I didn't spend much time with this blade at the time. - ... or at least not so intense that I would have noticed the difference in speed between the two sides !!! This blade has significantly more speed on the ALC side (9,3) than on the ZLC side (9,2), which I finally only noticed when testing without rubbers.Facts: my selected (extra light) blade with FL handle (... for normal male hands) weighs 83 grams. The club face is 150 x 157 mm. I bought it about "aliexpress.com" in China, at "Table Tennis Store". When I held this blade in my hand for the first time, I initially looked in vain for the ALC layer. Because I couldn't see her right away, I picked up a grater and started filing the upper part of my club face. I "found" her immediately! ... shimmering blue, directly under the ebony outer veneer, where she should be. What immediately noticeable is, that the sweet spot on the ALC layer side is smaller, than on the ZLC side. He is too, in relation to my other ALC blades, a bit smaller. The sound, that the blade produces on the ZLC side, could well be described as “crisp”. On this side the feedback feels slightly harder and more direct, but the speed seems to be higher on the ALC side !!! The hardness of the blade is in the middle between hard and medium hard. Conclusion: this blade is definitely recommended !!! ... maybe too from STUOR. ;-P May 24, 2023

Lemuria ZLC (Z. JK.)

Review of Lemuria ZLC (Z. JK.)Whenever I read an interesting review about a butterfly blade, I am immediately curious about the replica of Lemuria.I bought this blade, which looks like a naked Butterfly Zhank Jike Super ZLC, last year at the "Lemuria Chosen Store"! Facts: Club face 156 x 150 mm, Structure (supposedly): Koto-Super ZLC-Limba-Kiri Core-Limba-Super ZLC-Koto !!! My selected "extra light" one weighs 86 g. It was intended as a replacement blade for my “Butterfly Zhang Jike Super ZLC” fake, which I received many years ago and have been playing since then. (... which is even harder and more direct, slightly slower, but more controlled than the original!) Although this Lemuria blade is basically very well made, I first removed the slightly sharp edges (on the club face and on the handle) with emery paper. Then I sealed the club face with plastic 70 and glued on the same rubbers that I play on my old (fake) blade. (FH: Andro Hexer Powersponge FSX, BH: Donic Bluefire BigSlam) Fortunately, I was able to compare this blade to the original and what I found out was amazing. This Lemuria blade is closer to the original than my fake. It is a little slower, softer and therefore more controlled than the original! The spin development is well supported. The hardness of the blade is in the middle between hard and medium hard !! Conclusion: This neat replica is without a doubt an alternative for most offensive players. Mar 15, 2021

Lemuria Lin (ALC)

Review of Lemuria Lin (ALC)Update from 03/2020: Whenever I read an interesting review about a butterfly blade, I am immediately curious about the replica of Lemuria. Facts: my selected (extra light) blade with FL handle (without any lenses) weighs 86 gram. (- bought by my favorite dealer “Table Tennis Store” at Ali Express) This blade looks like a naked Butterfly Lin Gaoyuan ALC. The FL handle fits comfortably in the hand (normal average man's hand) and the blade has no sharp edges. This blade is stiff and medium hard! The speed of the Lemuria Lin seems (compared with my other Lemurias) not as fast as afterwards with rubbers !!! - strange or amazing ?Beside my Lemuria ZLC (Z. JK.), is Lin the second fastest Lemuria blade, i have. Because I could not compare this amazing blade with the original, I took my Butterfly TB ALC for comparasion and found out, it has the same stiffnes, is a bit softer and faster, but is easier to control. Conclusion: If you want to buy a cheap blade with Koto outerplies and ALC (like TB ALC), you should really try this one !!! - I do not think you will regret it. P.S.: this blade seems to be the same as the Stuor Lin Gaoyuan. (- which has a big little "slippy" lense at the handle!) Addendum: my voting from 9,3 for speed is with rubbers. Compared to my other blades, it would only be a 9.1 without rubbers !!! - Amazing. Feb 16, 2022

Lemuria 37131 (Lin Yun Ju Super ZLC)
Review of Lemuria 37131 (Lin Yun Ju Super ZLC)UPDATE (from 05/21): I finally had the opportunity to compare this Lemuria replica with the original Butterfly blade. (- albeit unfortunately only without rubbers!) What is immediately noticeable is the stronger grip on the original and its flawless workmanship. In addition, the original has the softer ball attack and is slightly faster. - ... but it doesn't play as directly as the Lemuria replica. CONCLUSION: give the replica a chance !!!! ;-PThis replica of the "Butterfly Lin Yun Ju SZLC" was recommended to me by three dealer on AliExpress. I asked for their hardest and stiffest blade. Facts: structure, KOTO + "GOLD" ZLC + AYOUS + KIRI + AYOUS + "GOLD" ZLC + KOTO !!! (... "Gold" is probably "Super" ZLC) The head size is 156 x 150 mm. My "extra light" selected blade with FL handle weighs (without any lenses) 85 g. - that is probably the reason why my grip is a bit thin !!! The Butterfly Original shall be best suited for playing at the table or in the middle distance. THAT apparently also applies to this blade. However, it also has enough power to ensure a game far behind the table. I would describe the playfeel with this very stiff blade as extremely hard and direct. - the sound is best described as "crisp"! By using thin, soft rubbers (Andro: VH 1.7 mm Powergrip SFX, BH 1.8 mm Powersponge) you almost have the feeling, that hard-hit balls penetrate the rubber and burst on the wood. Except from very hard hits, after which my balls flies far over the table, is the control awesome. - with these hard hits, I had the feeling that the blade was igniting a turbo !!! Amazing. If I could, I would give 9,1 points for stiffness and hardness. - ... and add 0,2 points for the TURBO!!! I own different ZLC blades, but this one is definitely the hardest. (- ... before my Btfy. Z. JK. fake or my Stuor Nobilis!!!) Conclusion: This replica is really "Hard Core", perfect for an aggressive offensive game. ... with an outstanding price-performance ratio. - try it!!! ;-P) Jun 16, 2022

Lemuria Harimoto Tomokazu Inner ZLC

Review of Lemuria Harimoto Tomokazu Inner ZLCOverdue addendum: structure is Limba + Ayous + Gold zlc + Ayous + Gold zlc + Ayous + LimbaUPDATE from Oct. 2021 ! If you like inner layer blades but want more hardness and directness in the game you should buy this blade !!! FACTS: Innerlayer blade with a comfortable FL handle and a weight of 86 g. This replica of the "Butterfly Harimoto Tomokazu Inner SZLC" was recommended to me by three dealer on AliExpress. I asked (as always) for their hardest blade. (... this time with innerlayern!) - and this blade is relatively hard. (... in particular compared to the ALC version.) At first I didn't like this blade at all, since I usually prefer to play very hard and direct, offensive blades with medium soft rubbers. So it was very difficult for me "to switch" to this innerlayer blade. But this ZLC blade, however, gives a much harder feel to the game (as the ZB) and is much faster. (- besides, i found out, this blade has the tendency to be top heavy !!!) After getting used to the feel of this blade and (possibly) finding the right rubbers for it, I find that it is extremely well controlled and provides sufficient power. It's pretty direkt for an innerlayer blade and has a relatively hard feel to play! I am currently playing with an TSP Agrit in 1.8-2 mm on the BH side and a DHS Gold Ar (47°5 degree) in maximum FH side! - Insanity !!! Conclusion: if you are looking for an inner layer blade with a direct and harder feedback, you should make the right choice here. - I had got used to my Stuor Nobilis SZLC, but ???????? :-/ ... meanwhile i like this blade !!! Lemuria Cybershape 6
Review of Lemuria Cybershape 6Update: This blade is identical to the cheaper STUOR Hexagonal (Cyber...) !!! Facts: Innerlayer blade 87g. with not particularly strong FL grip !!! ... processing ok. (- if you buy from Too Fun Shop on Aliexpress!!!) Finding the right rubbers for a blade has never been so difficult for me. ...and that's simply because this one is so different. I really have a lot of rubbers to test this blade but this blade which is not that fast, not that hard and stiff and rather a bit of flex needs more speed!!! Since my rubbers are all too slow, I had to find new, faster ones. Due to the larger striking surface Cybershape blades quickly become top-heavy and so I had to pay attention to the weight of the rubber!!!...which makes the search even more difficult. ( - but here: thanks, to Spin and Speed !!!) Currently i play a Xiom Omega 7 Pro (47.5 degrees, 2 mm) on my BH and a Donic Acuda Blue P2 (42 or 45 degrees???, in 2 mm) on my FH. - both rubbers with rather low weight. WonDerFul !!! ;-P Conclusion: THIS blade, or I was lucky enough to use the original Stiga Cybershape (... with tenergy 19 , FH and tsp ventus speed, BH) and I contend that the lemuria 6 is very similar to the stiga!!!stiga for being a bit faster with traditional table tennis (sweet spot) but more on the edge - i.e. after a With a straight shot you are a little unsure whether it will hit its target! This effect occurs with Cybershape, you always have the feeling of having hit the ball optimally and cleanly, which is only given by the rigidity of the wood on the edges much safer !!!- but unfortunately all current Cybershape models I've played are only medium speed ones woods. :-( ADDENDUM !!! Attention, if you have played a blade with a larger hitting area in the past, you can assume that your rubbers can be tailored to this blade !!!! May 03, 2023

Lemuria Super ALC (SALC)
Review of Lemuria Super ALC (SALC)UPDATED !!! ... new addendum. This blade is a clone of the Butterfly Viscaria Super ALC !!! - direct comparison with the original, without rubbers, "bare" blade: the original has a softer touch and is a bit faster. However, the Lemuria provides more feedback. After I was able to play the original from a friend and was absolutely thrilled (- but didn't want to spend over 200 € on the original!!!), I remembered the good clones of Lemuria that I had bought many times in the past. - and so far I am not disappointed at all !!! :-D The handle of my selected blade, with 86 grams, is almost as strong as the original. - but should be absolutely suitable for most players. The workmanship is generally very good, and sanding isn't really necessary. However, one criticism is the poorly cut carbon throughout the entire blade area. ... the bright blue (S?)ALC almost "peeks" out from between the veneers! - and I've never experienced this synthetic fiber so bright before. The blade dimensions, by the way, correspond to those of the original: 157 x 150 mm. For my first extensive test, I sealed the blade with clear varnish and then glued the XIOM Omega 5 Asia (FH, 51°, 2 mm) and the DHS Gold Arc 5 (BH, 42.5°, thick) onto it with solvent-based glue. This test surprised me, especially since the GA 5 harmonizes better with the blade than the Omega 5 Asia. - however, I expected a different result!!! Addendum: I replaced the Omega 5 Asia (FH) with the DONIC BlueStar A1 (both 2 mm thick) and the GA 5 (BH) with the Tibhar AURUS Select (1.8 mm before, now 1.7 mm!) The fact that I replaced both rubber pads with pads of the next higher sponge hardness has had a decidedly positive effect. ... the overall weight is only 180 g. This combination is simply outstanding and highly recommended!!! - pure feel & control. ;-P ... but anyone wanting to buy this blade should wait for the right price on AliExpress!!! - because it fluctuates between 63 and 80 euros / 74 and 94 USD. ;)Dec 22, 2025

Loki Kirin K1
Review of Loki Kirin K1This blade is currently available on Aliexpress from € 2.50!!!! - although I doubt that this blade has a carbon layer, at least that's what the manufacturer claims!!! ... the construction is supposedly: Ayous, nano carbon, poplar, Kiri core.Loki's three new blades, Kirin1, 2 and 3 are by far "the prettiest" you can buy under $10. - unfortunately I'm not sure if the carbon layer in this blade isn't fake!!! ... but if it is, the Kirin 1 is an inner-layer blade. I bought two pieces, one weighs 89 g, the second 90 g. The club face is 159 and 158 x 151 mm. (...the heavier blade is the faster, harder and minimally "smaller"!) - oh yes, by the way, I asked for the lightest blade available. The fl handle of the blade is for average sized hands. Since I generally deburr all blades on the handle and club face, I immediately noticed that the outer veneer is extremely soft. ... the club face should therefore ideally be sealed! Conclusion: here too it is a mystery to me how such a blade can be offered on the market for such a low price. She is definitely recommended !!! - the best choice under the three Kirins. ... for beginners and bargain hunters. ;-P Addendum: K1 is significantly harder and more direct than K2 and K3 !!! ... unfortunately, with rubbers it becomes top-heavy very quickly. - and the handle has NO beautiful lens! :-/ May 13, 2025

Loki RXTON 1

Review of Loki RXTON 1Unfortunately no OFF blade. (- rather slowly!) The racket face is smaller (154 x 148 mm), the handle is quite strong and the workmanship of the blade is commensurate with the price. I therefore recommend deburring them and sealing the club face. Conclusion: There are clearly various blades that are more recommended. (...like Kirin 1, 2, 3!)Feb 05, 2024

Review of Loki Kirin K2Loki's three new blades, Kirin1, 2 and 3, are by far "the prettiest" you can buy under $10. My K2 weighs ("extra light" selected) 82 g. Its club face is 158 x 150 mm and the fl handle is for average sized hands. Since I generally deburr all blades on the handle and club face, I immediately noticed that the outer veneer is extremely soft. ... the club face should therefore ideally be sealed! Conclusion: here too it is a mystery to me how such a blade can be offered on the market for such a low price. She is definitely recommended!!! ... for beginners and bargain hunters. ;-P Addendum: the hardness of K2 is almost identical to K3, while K1 is significantly harder and more direct!!! - I think the glued lens is somehow reminiscent of that of the Butterfly Fan Zhendong blade series. ... very nice!Feb 06, 2024

Loki Kirin K3

Review of Loki Kirin K3Updated !!! Unfortunately, the price of the Loki Kirin K3 has been increased significantly !!! ( - I had bought my wood for well under 10 dollars.) Loki's three blades, Kirin 1, 2 and 3, are by far "the prettiest" and best you can buy for such a low price ( ... K1 and K2 under $10, K 3 now 17 USD.) - unfortunately I'm not sure that the carbon layer in the K 3 isn't fake. ... however, if it were real, we could speak from an innerlayer-blade! My selected "extra light" one weighs 85 g. Its club face is 157 x 150 mm. The fl handle of the blade is for average sized hands. Since I generally deburr all blades on the handle and club face, I immediately noticed that the outer veneer is extremely soft. ... the club face should therefore ideally be sealed! ( - however, the workmanship of the three blades is so good compared to various others that my rework is not really necessary !!!) Conclusion: this blade with medium speed and good feedback is really recommended !!! ... for beginners as well as advanced users. - but unfortunately no longer for bargain hunters!!! Addendum: The hardness of K3 is almost identical to K2, while K1 is significantly harder and more direct !!!Oct 21, 2025

Review of Loki RXTON 3 PROI got this inner layer blade that weighs 89 g. The blade is relatively stiff, medium hard and gives a pleasant vibration. ( ... or rather, gives good direct feedback!) However, the workmanship is so bad that I will be sending the blade back. Problem with my blade: The blade has extremely sharp edges and the 2 double outer veneers are not the same thickness across the surface (...cut crookedly!)Sep 28, 2024

Review of Loki Kirin K5 Pro Inner CarbonAside from the fact that the term "Innercarbon" is missing from the name, these blades are obviously very different; after finding the first one to be quite good, I ordered a second one with exactly the same weight, yet it turned out to be completely different, so I have completely deleted my rating from the table. The surfaces of my two blades look so different that I almost assume they are made of different veneers. - I´m very, very sad!!!Aug 04, 2026

Loki RXTON 9 Pro CNF Carbon
Review of Loki RXTON 9 Pro CNF CarbonFinal Update !!! This blade uses "CNF" (Cedar nano fibre) and feels a bit strange. ... despite the KOTO outer veneer !!! ( - if it really is KOTO, because it feels like made of cardboard.) Finding suitable rubbers for this peculiar wood is therefore likely to prove somewhat more difficult. My blade with a FL handle, which conforms to the "Butterfly Standard," weighs 86g. Despite decent workmanship, deburring the blade is recommended! As previously mentioned, the DOTZ-test reveals a strange feeling!!! ... rather soft and rather indirect. (- I also would have liked the sweet spot to be larger.) When playing from a distance, the blade lacks some penetration. I would therefore advise against rubbers lacking catapult effect. It definitely performs better with rubbers with CATAPULT. For my first test I had the XIOM Jekyll and Hyde C 55 (2mm) on the forehand side and a DHS Gold Arc 5 (medium, with a 42.5-degree sponge) on the backhand side. The GA 5 definitely felt better (more lively!) than the J & H 55 !!! Addendum: After further testing, I found that this blade isn't as slow as it initially seemed. With the GA 9 at my FH, 38 degrees (chin. level) in max. thickness, it was actually too fast for me! Since I enjoy experimenting, I glued a pimpled rubber from YINHE onto the backhand side (QING Pro OX) and a Donic Bluegrip J1 at the forehand !!! - and my comrade, to whom I gave the whole thing to test, was absolutely thrilled. Palio R57 Soft-Carbon
Review of Palio R57 Soft-CarbonLightweight softcarbon blade, better than Palio Cat !!!!! ;-)My blade weighs 76 g and is very neatly processed. I was very curious about this blade. With such a low weight, I was not sure that she will be not too top heavy (if the rubbers are glued on). But I have to admit my fears were unjustified. The blade is good balanced too, with a rubber weight of (together) maximum 90 g !!! What I especially noticed with this blade was, that it gave some rubbers an even louder sound (bang). Wonderful, I love that? For this blade I would recommend rubbers from 40 degree sponge hardness or more. ( - ... although I have to admit, that I had a lot of fun with a DHS Tin Arc 5 Soft, in the 33 degree version, in 2.1 mm at my FH, which incidentally produces a wonderfully loud sound and also gives a very good control !!! ... unfortunately he was just too slow and not spinny enough for me. ) In any case, this blade is absolutely recommended for beginners or control freaks and beyond, unbeatable in its price range !!!! Palio CAT

Review of Palio CATI was very curious about this wood. With such a low weight (72 g), I was not sure if it would not be too top heavy (if the rubbers are glued on).But I have to admit my fears were unjustified. The blade is also good balanced, with two rubber (together just under 90 g). The speed of this blade should be enough for most players. If you want a little more speed, you can easily act very offensively with the corresponding rubbers. The control of the CAT is excellent, the play feel is rather soft, which is why I recommend rubber over 40 ° sponge hardness. If you really want to use softer rubbers, you will have to deal with less control afterwards. - Don´t do it !!!! Dec 08, 2020

Palio A1

Review of Palio A1I was looking for a cheap solid wood blade and by chance I found the Palio A1 for just under € 14.This blade is really flawlessly processed and the handle fits well in men's hands. The weight is 83 grams. The outer veneer is real hard, which creates a pleasant and very direct feel. The control is very good, even though this blade is quite fast. In my estimation it is in the range Off to Off+ !!! ( - in Germany, most people would say, this blade is a real "cudgel" !!! ) Conclusion: cheap, very hard offensive blade for little money. Review of Palio B11In the last few days I gave my rating for the B21. The B11 blade is less stiff, less hard and slightly slower. - more of an all+/off- blade! With this blade the ball strike is less direct, but the ball feedback is also very good. In contrast to the B21, the B11 has a normal, average FL handle that is also suitable for teenagers. The weight of my blade is 82 grams. Conclusion: very nice solid wood blade at a low price. (14 €!) ... for beginners, advanced users and bargain hunters! ;-PNov 16, 2023

Review of Razer L-1Once again I was curious about what you could buy for little money. ;) My blade has a weight (extra “light” selected) of 71 g. Its head size is 154 x 149 cm and its club face is 6 mm thick. The workmanship is commensurate with the price, but the FL handle is more suitable for adults. Unfortunately the sweet spot is quite small and the speed is (too) low!!! The edges of the wood, which are sometimes somewhat sharp, should best be deburred and the club face sealed!!! CONCLUSION: I don't know who I should recommend this blade to. - the BOER dalbergia, sword wood and ebony blades are a little faster, have more stability and are therefore more recommended. ... however, they are between 11 and 15 grams heavier. :-/Jan 28, 2024

Sanwei F3

Review of Sanwei F3Meanwhile I have my third F3 blade. My first weighed 78 g and was a bit slower and softer than the others. ( – I bought it before two years !)Both other blades (78 & 80 g, bought last year) are faster, harder and stiffer !!! (- this makes them very similar to my first blade, Butterfly Timo Boll ALC.) After playing a Boll ALC (81 g) for half a year, I was looking for a (comparable) replacement blade. My choice fell on the Sanwei F3. I have glued the same rubbers on both blades !!! FH: Joola Rhyzm-Tech 2 mm, BH: 61 Second Eagle 2 mm. On my Boll ALC blade I play the Eagle with 38 degrees sponge, on the Sanwei with 36 degrees sponge. (... for adaptation, because it is a bit stiffer and has less control!) All in all, my T. Boll blade has more control by the same speed and is a bit good-natured, but the Sanwei F3 is a very good replacement for a very reasonable price !!!!! Absolutely Recommended !!! Review of Sanwei King Kong 2Attention: Currently you can get this wonderful blade (for 2 days!!!) at the bargain price of 17.60 € (14.40 dollars) on AliExpress !!! - aliexpress.com/item/4000388667629.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.ebd33c00EAkazW&mp=1Updated !!! I ordered this blade (o5/2019) as a "Special Edition" with a weight of 84 grams. (- normally it is heavier !!!) The first thing I noticed, is the very powerful cypress grip, for really big hands. ( - ... for me, getting used to !!! ) I have tested this blade (with different rubbers) and must say, it is hard, very fast and needs medium or hard rubbers. (- to provide good/enough control! ) Normally I would think that this blade is made for the Chinese market !!! ( - because Chinese rubbers fit perfectly to this blade, due to their smaller catapult. ) - but what Chinese have such huge hands ??? ;-P I do not like to play with heavy blades and therefore rubber searching is even hard for me. ( - hard rubbers are unfortunately heavier !) Currently I play in my FH with an Andro Hexer Grip with 2 mm thickness and 45 degree sponge. He weighs 49 grams and is not a lightweight !!! ... but it plays great. Unfortunately, I currently do not find the right rubber for my BH, because I now have to pay extra attention to the weight. (... awful ! - i know, you think i am crazy !!! ) CONCLUSION: wonderful fast, hard and stiff blade with good control (... by the right rubbers), especially for good offensive players. ( - in my opinion, the speed in the table is underrated !!! ) - also, I found out, that this blade is surprisingly well balanced even with very heavy rubbers and not too top-heavy seems !!!! Sanwei CC

Review of Sanwei CCPrice breaker!!! .. updated review. This blade has been available in a revised version for almost half a year. ...it now has a pretty white and blue handle!!! I purchased and reviewed them for the first time in 2021 and absolutely loved them. ... just like this time again! - however this time my blade has a slim FL handle and weighs 88 g. Apparently SANWEI has managed to maintain the quality of the CC. :-D ... great !!! My first blade of 2021 had a strong handle and weighed 85g. The club surface is (then and now) 157 x 150 mm. Despite the extremely low price, this blade is very well made. My old one, like my new one, is very stiff and hard and can be classified as an off/off+ blade. The sweet spot is an acceptable size. Unfortunately, this wood quickly becomes top-heavy with heavy coverings. Conclusion: incredible blade for this price!!! If the handle of the current model wasn't so slim (- ideal for small hands or children!!!), I would unreservedly recommend this blade. - insofar as an offensive style of play is preferred. Respect, Sanwei! Addendum: Beginners should definitely use this blade with soft rubbers.May 29, 2024

Sanwei Hynover

Review of Sanwei HynoverAbout 2 years ago I bought this "pretty" ;) blade and, because it didn't quite meet my expectations, I put it in the cupboard. (... not knowing that this blade is an inner-layer blade. - which ultimately makes sense and explains why I found this blade "a bit different".) But it's really hard to see that there is a thin layer of birch under the outer veneer of Hinoki!!! - I haven't been able to find out what the core is made of. :( I bought this blade because my pen pal (and reviewer) Ejonii recommended it to me. In theory, it's a very interesting offensive blade. ... it's just a shame that Sanwei obviously has/had problems with production and the quality varies greatly. One blade weighed 97 g and was very hard and very fast. Another had crooked outer veneers, another looked used. In the end, I got this blade with an average handle and a weight of 87 g. - by the way, it is very similar to the Stuor Nobilis ZLC in terms of feel. (... just a little softer and slower!) Conclusion: Fast blade with typical Hinoki touch but unfortunately slightly reduced feedback. I don't necessarily want to recommend ordering this blade online, but if you have the opportunity to test this blade in a shop, you should definitely do it!!! Addendum: I will test this blade again (after it has been lying around for two years) with the currently "hottest rubbers". - and then "confess" again ;-PDec 06, 2024

Sanwei 75 Inner ALC
Review of Sanwei 75 Inner ALCONLY stiffness and hardness updated !!! This blade "must" be recommended!!! ;-) UPDATED! ... cause definitely underrated !!! ... and also because I now own a third blade, this time weighing 88 g. I have tried four different inner layer woods in the past few years, but unfortunately only one of them was acceptable. (so far!) ;) Facts: my 3 Sanwei ALC 75 Inner blades have all a (rather strong) FL handle, which becomes a little slimmer in the middle and very strong towards the end of the handle. My first 2 weighed 89 g, the sweet spot is average in size and the workmanship is very good. Although this blade is a lot harder than my previous innerlayer blades. ( - a Butterfly Innerforce ALC, for example, is even harder and plays even more directly!) After trying various rubbers on this blade, including the new Joola Tronix ACC with 47.5 degrees sponge hardness in 2 mm thickness or the TSP Ventus Speed ( - now VICTAS Ventus Stiff) with 45 degrees and 1.8 mm, I ended up with my "old comrades", the Tenergy 64 (BH, 1.7 mm) and the Dignics 09c (FH, 2.1 mm). - However, I made a small adjustment after the second half of last season!!! ... I play now the Donic Bluegrip S2 (BH) with 1.8 mm (42 g.) and the Dig. 09c (FH) only with 1.9 mm. (46 g.) - I have sealed all three blades with clear varnish and I glue my coverings with solvent-based glue! Conclusion: Ultimately, this blade is just great. ... fast, with a direct feel and very good control. Regardless of the rubber combination, it always delivers good performance and is very affordable at $47. (- in the “Global Sports Store” on AliExpress. ;) ... good service included!) Addendum: This blade also feels really comfortable with a Xiom Vega X or a Tibhar Hybrid Mk. :)Apr 18, 2025

Sanwei 54 Inner Yellow ALC
Review of Sanwei 54 Inner Yellow ALCI'm surprised that this blade has so far "only been played by me." ;-) - or "rather, it has only been reviewed by ME!!!" This blade is significantly faster than the ALC 75 (9,2 rated). Although the ball feedback seems a bit worse in comparison, I ultimately have to compare it with rubbers! Facts: my two selected 54s weigh 87 and 88 grams. The blade measures 159 x 151 mm. Both have a very comfortable, not-too-thin FL grip. (... a bit thicker than the 75). The workmanship, as is unfortunately often the case with SANWEI, leaves a lot to be desired! - Whether the outer veneer (as stated by the seller!) is Koto or perhaps Limba or Ayous, I can't currently say! The official veneer composition is: KOTO – Ayous – yellow ALC – Ayous – yellow ALC – Ayous – KOTO. I always glue my rubber bands with (normal!) solvent-based glue. On both blades, the Donic BlueGrip S2 is on the backhand side. On one blade for the FH, a BlueStar A1 is used, and on the other, a Dig. 09c. - so the same rubbers as on my two 75s !!! After the first test: This blade plays much harder and more directly than I initially expected!!! (... and more comfortable than the 75 inner ALC.) - the Bluegrip S2 looks pretty perfect on the backhand !!! ... With the two forhand rubbers it is a matter of taste. Conclusion: For this money, an absolutely recommendable offensive blade. ... and suitable for all levels. - you should really try it !!!Nov 02, 2025

Sanwei SP 968
Review of Sanwei SP 968As the name suggests, this blade is clearly based on the "DHS Hurricane Long 5." This means it is a blade featuring an inner carbon layer and a slightly oversized head from 160 x 150 mm. Surface material: Limba wood, 2. layer: Spruce, Fiber: Built-in ALC Arylate Carbon, core: Ayous. Number of layers: 7 layers (5 wood + 2 fiber) Head Thickness: 5,93 mm. I bought this blade on AliExpress ("Sweetheart Pet Store") just under two months ago for €40. ... it comes in a very pretty box! ;P My selected blade weighs 90.4 grams (including the protective film), resulting in a net weight of 88.6 grams. My recommendation for this blade: deburr the slightly sharp edges with some sandpaper and, most importantly, seal the blade surface !!! I have been playing a copy of the Viscaria SALC from Lemuria for quite some time now and accordingly, I applied the same rubbers to this blade: Donic Bluestar A2 (max thickness) on the forehand and a Victas Ventus Stiff (1,8) on the backhand. What was immediately noticeable was that this blade is significantly faster, harder and also more head-heavy. I have played a few replicas with this structure in the past, but none were like this one. For someone with my playing level, finding the right rubbers for "this rocket" could be a challenge! ;-P - But I'm not giving up yet. ... maybe later! Sequel follows... :-DJul 15, 2026

SpinLord Classic Carbon

Review of SpinLord Classic CarbonFacts: my blade (FL handle) weighs 85g. The grip is very strong! The racket face is 155 x 151 mm. The "alleged" carbon layer is so thin that you can hardly see it. According to the seller: the outer and intermediate veneers are made of Limba, the core veneer is made of Kiri and is encased by 2 synthetic fiber layers made of thin carbon fleece. The handle scales are made of solid hinoki. ( - Ayous and Koto ??? ) The rather soft, bare blade does not convey much feedback. I definitely assume that this blade will be more comfortable with hard rubber. - more details, soon!!! Addendum: the actually name of this blade is "Classic Carbon Premium"!Aug 01, 2023

Stuor CNF White Carbon
Review of Stuor CNF White CarbonONLY stiffness and hardness updated !!! ... by chance I got my hands on this blade that I bought years ago. - and in memory: This replica is definitely one of the best controlled OFF- blades I have ever played. Like the original (Butterfly Revoldia CNF), this blade uses too cellulose nanofiber layers = CNF !!! It is medium stiff, medium hard and conveys a very direct, safe playing feel. - ... regardless of whether you use hard or soft rubber, there is always a very direct and outstanding playing feel !!! The "extra light" blade I chose weighs 84 grams with the FL handle. I would have loved to compare this blade with the original. But since this is not possible for me, I will now compare them with my Btfy. TB ALC. "Timos darling" ;P is a bit faster, but has´nt such a good control like the Stuor CNF. - in addition, the Stuor blade supports the development of rotation of the rubbers much better.By the way, a friend of mine thought that the Stuor CNF has more of a "conical" handle. ( - not narrow in the middle like the usual FL grip !!!) It is also remarkable that this blade balances very well even with heavier rubbers. CONCLUSION: incredible OFF - blade. ... order and try !!! (...and if you prefer a "naked version, without lenses", try the identical "Lemuria CNF"!) Addendum: this wonderful blade has been around for four years now at an amazing price!!! Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki
Review of Stuor Nobilis ZLC HinokiUpdate No. ??? ;P I only can recommend this exceptional blade. ... even after two years. Best price-performance ratio !!! :-D (- although this blade doesn't like sticky, hard, low-catapult Chinese rubbers at all! ... at least not unboosted!!!) This extraordinary "replica" is PERFECT for all offensively oriented players and for me one of the BEST "Off+ blades"!!! (- or ++?) Speed like a Yinhe T-4s or 5s, but significantly more control. But you should know one thing, it is not a real replica!!! The outer veneers of the Joola Nobilis POB-c are thicker. The carbon layers, the inner veneers and the core look identical to the Stuor variant. My blade weighs 87g, the FL handle is average. The Joola Nobilis is softer and a little slower and has a poorer ball response. - its sweet spot is also smaller!!! What is particularly noticeable about the Stuor is the excellent spin support. First I was playing with Butterfly Dignics 09c with 2.1 mm (FH) and Tenergy 64 with 1.7 mm thickness (BH) and it is/was terrific. Now I have recently started playing with the XIOM Omega 5 Asia (FH) on this blade and have never had a better rubber on it. ( ... and it is insane!!! ;P) - if possible, try it out. Very high Spin and control level, plus a high throwing angle. At my BH, I use now the Tibhar Aurus Sound (only in 1,7 mm!), which is also insane. - I'm annoyed that I didn't try these rubbers sooner because they go perfectly with the Hinoki ZLC combination. Conclusion: The Stuor Nobilis ZLC is a wonderfully stiff, hard, fast and "direct" blade with excellent control. (- the Hinoki outer veneer also gives many rubbers "more spin"!!!) It has almost no vibration and outstanding feedback. Order it and try it out! Addendum: 2 of my friends are now playing with it. - all blades are between 85 & 88 g. Less weight usually means a thinner handle !!! All blades were specially selected for me from "Play Table Tennis Happily" shop at AliExpress!!!Sep 29, 2024

Stuor Professional Long 5
Review of Stuor Professional Long 5... for a specific reason!!! ADDENDUM: 1. sealing this wood is absolutely necessary. (... despite my sealing, 2 of my woods now have frayed edges after 2 years.) 2. speed and control are currently (07/2024) absolutely overrated!!!Review from 09/2022: Until recently there were two different versions of this wood. The older one looks like the original DHS Hurricane Ma Long 5 and uses ALC instead of ZLC !!! (... reviews of this under Stuor Hurricane Long 5!) Facts: Inner layer wood with enlarged hitting surface (160 x 150 mm) and extremely large sweet spot. My woods weigh 86 and 88 g. and both have a rather slim handle. The rebound feel is hard to medium hard with medium vibration. The best combination for me so far is the Nittaku Fastarc G-1 with 2 mm (FH) and the Hammond Z2 with 1.8 mm (BH). ... excellent control in all playing situations!!! I would rate this blade as OFF-. Conclusion: If you don't need a "speed monster", ... this blade definitely has enough speed and control and is absolutely recommendable!!! - the only thing that could be criticized about this blade would be the fact that the blade quickly becomes top-heavy due to the enlarged club head. Addendum: If you know this blade but want more speed, you should try the XVT Rage 301 Kevlar Carbon! (- even if it is not an inner layer blade!!!) I compared both blades with identical rubbers and the playing feel is almost identical. - Attention: Stuor also offers Prof. Long 5 as a Cybershape variant!!! Stuor Professional Long V (Cybershape)

Review of Stuor Professional Long V (Cybershape)Updated: After I had my first experiences with the Lemuria Cybershape 6 ( ... which is identical in construction to the STUOR Hexagonal (Cyber...), I wanted to try this Stuor Professional Long V ( innerlayer Cybershape) of which I already own the normal version twice and which has the same veneer structure! Anyone who expects the same rubbers to "work" on the Cybershape as on the conventional blade, will be probably shocked! Not only is the Cybershape a bit slower, it also gives a completely different feeing. As too with the Lemuria, finding the rubber is a little more difficult! Facts: my blade weighs now "90" g., the concave handle is "strong." The workmanship is appealing but not perfect! ( - it is advisable to grind the blade down a bit and to seal the clubface. ;-P) After the sale of the Lemuria, the Donic Baracuda Big Slam (max.), which I liked very much back then, remained in my possession. It is now glued to the Stuor H5 Cyber on the FH side. Normally I haven't played such soft rubber for a long time and otherwise use a maximum of 2.1 mm sponges. BUT: as I wrote back then, such a cybershape is different and you first have to find the right rubbers for it. I am currently looking for the right BH rubber. ( ... Tenergy 64, TSP Regalis Red, Aurus Sound were a flop !!! ) - but, I hope to find soon my right BH rubber. The Palio AK 47 Red could be a perfect partner, ... his advantage, he is extremely light !!! Conclusion: of the 7 different Cybershape blades that I bought at the past, is the Stuor Professional Long V Cyber definitely the most recommended !!! (- if you like a stable, harder and direct feeling.) The Lemuria Cybershape 6 (alias Stuor Hexagonal) is softer, but too to recommended. ... it's just a pity, that both are not a bit faster !!!May 24, 2023

Review of Stuor Hexagonal (Cybershape)This blade is identical to the more expensive Lemuria Cybershape 6 !!! Facts: Blade 84 g. with not particularly strong FL grip. Addendum: after consultation with some comrades, I can now say with a clear conscience that this blade is faster than the Stuor Professional Long V (Cybershape) ... read my odyssey, under: revspin.net/blade/lemuria-cybershape-6.html?msg=&repeat=May 03, 2023

Stuor Scepter Gold ZLC

Review of Stuor Scepter Gold ZLCCorrected!!! ... thanks to CPLTRGMB (Lautaro from Argentina), I realized that I had mixed up the ratings in the table back then—specifically, speed and control!!! :-/ I’ve corrected it now; I’ve also bumped the speed up to 9.5!!! Supposedly this blade is a replica of the Joola Vyzaryz Trinity (price: $ 270). ... although I haven't compared it with the original (yet)! FACTS: My blade weighs (selected!) 88g. It has a pleasant FL grip, is relatively stiff, as hard and fast. ... but sounds terribly “hollow.” ( - in my opinion it is a real “stick” !!! ) As always, I also sealed this blade with clear varnish. After I had first tried out my favorite BH rubber (TSP Ventus Speed, Tenergy 64, both with solvent glue), I quickly realized that both "feel" significantly harder on this blade. It was no different on the FH side. The Dignics 09c and the FastArc G-1 also seem significantly harder. I had never experienced anything like this!!! (... except for a Cybershape.)After several weeks of testing various rubbers, I finally settled on the XIOM Vega Europa (BH) and the Vega X-ten (VH) for my forehand (... both only 1.8 mm). The result was a truly great and highly recommended combination. For several years now, I've been picking up this blade every now and then and testing it with new rubbers. I'm very curious to see how it performs with the new DHS GoldArc 9 (38 degree) and the Gewo Nexxus EL Pro 43. Actually Conclusion: absolutely recommended blade !!! ... anyone who likes blades with a very direct feel is well advised here. Although it is certainly not a Speed-MONSTER, but very fast and still ideal for an aggressive, offensive play from any distance. Aug 19, 2026

Review of TSP Balsa 8.5 Top Speedincredibly fast blade, but unfortunately difficult to control due to the bad ball feedback !!! Although the TSP 8.5 is very light, you don't get the feeling that it tends to be top-heavy.- the Yinhe Galaxy T-1s is (at the same speed!!!) the much better blade because it is more direct / controlled. Review of Victas Quartet VFCThis is a call to everyone who thinks they have to rate something (especially speed, spin or control) and use the maximum rating of 10. The rating 10 stands for the maximum possible !!!! - and something like that will only be sold to you by a dealer who lies to you in order to sell his goods.... AND, please do not enter any ratings in the tables without having written a report !!!!! - with that you are helping "nobody". Please everyone think about it! Update from 03/2021: " I love very stiff and hard blades !!!" After reading the ratings for this blade, I drove to my dealer to have a look at this blade. According to the ratings, she should be stiff and hard. ( ... and last year, in this ratings, extremely fast). Unfortunately I couldn't find out ( ... and my dealer absolutely agreed), this blade is rather flex to average and the stiffness round about soft to medium !!! Conclusion: If you are also interested at this blade, be sure to hold it in your own hands before you order it anywhere. Feb 13, 2022

Review of Xi Enting Shark 686I have extensively tested this blade and realized that it is too fast for me.However, I first played with very soft rubbers, which in my opinion are not suitable for this blade. Although this blade is quite stiff, the feeling is rather soft. With harder rubbers (at least medium hard) is the feeling much more pleasant, direct and controlled. All in all, the Shark is a very fast blade with sufficient control, which can make better players much fun. - This blade is almost like the XVT Canon Walnut (& Canon Vivace)! ... only more controlled and minimally slower. Xi Enting POWER CARBON
Review of Xi Enting POWER CARBONI bought this blade (78g, for €7) as a CHOICE offer from AliExpress. Accordingly (I suspect they simply resell returned items there!), it doesn't surprise me that the workmanship leaves so much to be desired. The two very soft outer veneers aren't perfectly uniform in thickness (… everywhere), and I also suspect that it's not genuine "Power Carbon" fiber (… but so-called "fake carbon"!!). I've bought, tested, and reviewed many inexpensive blades from AliExpress. This X-1 is one of the slowest and softest. Conclusion: I would only recommend it if you specifically want a very slow blade - for whomever! ;-) I smoothed the sharp edges of my blade with sandpaper!!! … after that, the handle feels really good and comfortable at my hand. - I believe I bought this blade many years ago. Back then it was completely different (harder & faster!), which is why I ordered it again this time.Feb 11, 2026

XVT Hinoki Balsa Carbon

Review of XVT Hinoki Balsa CarbonUPDATE to September 2020: This blade is now my fourth one I have ordered over the years. In the meantime she has got a new face. She is well made and has a very strong grip. This time this blade weighs 66 g. and if in the past I had originally reported "incredibly fast" (- which I had to revise back then due to fluctuations in quality !!!), I have to say again today that it is only described as "OFF" instead of "OFF+". blade is to be classified. However, it is still properly processed and very interesting in terms of price-performance ratio. The best way to counteract the indirect playing feel, which is due to the 10 mm thick balsa core, is to use rubber with a higher degree of sponge hardness. May 24, 2023

Review of XVT Hinoki ALC CarbonThis blade is well made and has a strong, relatively short grip. (My blade weighs 83 g.) Unfortunately, I could not recognize that this ALC layers (normally blue shimmering) were processed and had therefore assumed that it could be a carbon blade! The dealer, however, has assured me that thinner arylate carbon with yellow and black color was used here. Unfortunately, this blade is not as fast as promised. In my opinion, she is at most Off- or Off.This blade is really hard !!! - but the control must/should be better for it´s speed. Jul 18, 2020

Review of XVT CannonMy first blade called Cannon "Vivace" and is similar to this Cannon !!!I only played this blade for a short time, because it seemed too fast and too uncontrolled. However, I first played with very soft rubbers, which in my opinion are not suitable for this (rather soft) blade. With harder rubbers (at least medium hard), the feel is much more pleasant and direct and controlled. But nevertheless the Cannon is a bit too fast for me. Review of XVT Cannon WalnutAt first, this blade is considerably much faster as rated in the table !!!! (- myTimo Boll ALC is considerably slower.)I´ve played this blade only a few weeks, because she´s too fast and too uncontrolled, for me. However, I first played with very soft rubbers, which, in my opinion, are not suitable for this blade. With harder rubbers (at least medium hard), the feel is much more pleasant, ... direct and controlled. At last I glued the DHS Hurricane 3 in black with the blue sponge (the super cheap, 12 €, replica !) on this blade and it was amazing. ... suddenly no more too fast, good control and spin and blocking was easier as ever before. Easy amazing !!!!!! - But nevertheless (with my prefered rubbers Joola Rhyzm-Tech with 2 mm & 61 Second Eagle with 2 mm) she´s much too fast for me. ( ... oh yes, a few years before I bought a Cannon Vivace blade! ... and she had exactly the same playing propertis !!!! :-O ) Jun 05, 2019

XVT Hinoki ZL Carbon

Review of XVT Hinoki ZL CarbonRe-rated: I got 2 thumbs down for this review in 2021. Nevertheless, I still stand by the statements I made back then today. - However, today I can say with a clear conscience that this blade can be quite interesting with rubbers over 47.5 degrees!!! (...as well as the Butterfly Amultart, which was the model for this blade.) Review from 02/2021: This blade is without a doubt the strangest thing I have ever held in my hands. The outer veneer is so smooth that you'd think it wasn't made from wood, but rather from plastic using a 3D printer. - the feeling when the ball hits the surface is strange. ... plastic surface instead of wooden surface??? After using very soft rubbers in my first test, I quickly realized that this combination is very difficult to control. (...fast, bad playing feel.) Only when using harder rubbers (from approx. 42 degrees) did a pleasant playing feeling arise. The wood was now easier to control and very comfortable to play, especially with medium-fast rubbers with a thicker sponge. BUT: Nevertheless, I still believe that the blade (apart from the handle) is made of plastic !!! ;-))Feb 21, 2024

XVT ZL Koto
Review of XVT ZL KotoRevised and supplementet !!! The basis for my evaluation, in the table, is the 3rd and therefore current version of this blade !!! In recent years, the original version (- shown here!) of this XVT blade was revised twice !!! I own "the first revised version" from Feb. 2020. (- but will also report on the third version!!!) My first one from 2020 with 84 g. has an average FL handle, with now, new prettier handle scales. The XVT pro ZL Koto is "very fast." ... but provides however a good ball feedback and a good control ( - in contrast to a Yinhe T-1, which is for me the fastest blade off all !!!) - it's a pity that the model was changed again and that the third version was created!!! On "my version" and even more so on the current model (which offers less control and worse feedback !!!) rubbers with a sponge hardness below 45 degrees (int. scale) make absolutely no sense. ... the playing feel then simply becomes too indirect! 45 degrees sponges and above, especially too Chinese rubbers (with less catapult) are perfect. Facts to version 3: At the end of 2023 I ordered two blades of the current model. The speed is higher and the control has become significantly worse. The playing feel is now significantly softer, which is probably due to the fact that the Koto outer veneer is now thicker than before. (... and the carbon layer only takes effect later.) One of these blades weighed 97 grams (ST), the other weighed 90 g (FL). Conclusion: Unfortunately, the ball feedback has suffered greatly, but the blade has become significantly faster. Speed: 9.7 instead of the previous 9.5. Control: 8.4 instead of 8.9. - my recommendation can therefore only be: definitely try to buy version 1 or 2 used!!!?... and use the perfect, following rubbers: Nittaku Hammond Z2, Dignics 64/09c or Donic BlueStar 1 and 2. ;-P Addendum: I now have three of the older version. ... They weigh between 83 and 86 g. And NOT ONE of them, not even the current model, makes a "dull clanking noise"! :-DMar 30, 2025

XVT Black Knight 7
Review of XVT Black Knight 7Obviously there is a wide range of quality with this blade. The last two blades I got are definitely not as fast as the ones back then. - previously speed 9.2, now only 8.9 !!! In the year of 2016 I already bought two of these blades. These blades were hard and very fast. Unfortunately i sold the blades, because they were too fast for me, at that time. However not the currently delivered model !!!! What I received this year (from two different shops) is absolute not comparable. These both blades are medium soft and much slower ( never Offensive +) I also wonder, why is the cut / shape of the club face different today ??? ( ... the way I hold the blade, the club face hurts my middle finger.) In addition, the size of the handle can only be used for children, women or people with small hands. - ... and why I can´t see any carbon layers ??? After comparing the current Black Knight 7 model with various other blades (T.Boll ALC, Sanwei F3, Palio R57 and a few other XVT blades), I finally found, as expected, that this blade is not comparable to the old one 2016 model ( ... that was definitely faster and harder as my "good old" Btfly. T. Boll ALC ) !!! - this B.K. 7 plays more like a Palio R57 with more vibrations. Addendum: Even the dealer I usually buy from, could not see any layers of carbon. We both think, that this blade is Allround+ and only consists of plywood. Sep 18, 2023

XVT LEX S912

Review of XVT LEX S912This inner blade is absolutely unbeatable at this price!!! ... it has enough speed, provides enough feel and is therefore not only ideal for beginners. - and possibly even with carbon, though I wouldn't swear to that! Medium-hard with a comfortable grip, well-made, but the material is very soft. At the current price of 7 Euro (by AliExpress), definitely recommended!!! I bought this blade (weighing 82 grams) for a friend who previously used a Sanwei F3 (old model). This blade has the same speed and an absolutely comparable feel when striking the target! Addendum: I've tried to reduce the size of several club blades in the past (with a rasp and file!). Normally, I've always struggled with carbon fiber, but that's not the case with this blade!!! - So, my question is: since when is "ARTLATE carbon" :-P so soft??? (...or rather: arylate) Addendum: I bought a second blade, it weighs 88 grams. :-PApr 06, 2026

XVT RAGE 301 Kevlar Carbon (DHS 301)
Review of XVT RAGE 301 Kevlar Carbon (DHS 301)Attention !!! ... unfortunately, the veneer composition is unclear. The outer veneer is definitely Koto, and the Kevlar-carbon (ZLC) layer is located on the Ayous or Kiri core. Whether Ayous or Kiri is used underneath the Koto is unknown. This blade was recommended to me directly by the dealer Henry Liu from XVT. It has an enlarged face of 160 x 150 mm and it´s weight is 86 g. ( selected!). The FL handle is quite long and slim. Although the grip at the top end, below the racket face, is very narrow, it definitely fits my hand better than the DHS 301 handle. ( - my hand plate is long as my fingers, which was also the reason for the DHS 301 did not "fit"!) This blade is definitely stiffer, harder and faster than the DHS 301 !!! Conclusion: here is a controlled, fast blade that is able to get the maximum possible rotation out of your rubber and that for an outstanding price. ... in my opinion an absolute price-performance hammer !!! Addendum: oh yes, according to the seller, heavier versions of this blade, have a stronger handles. ( - than with "my lightweight"! ) - my favorite rubbers for this blade: FH, Nittaku Fast Arc G-1 and BH, Tibhar Aurus Select ;-P ... but don´t keep to much weight on this blade, or it becomes to head heavy !!!! ;)Apr 22, 2025

Review of XVT LEX (-S918) ZL CarbonONLY stiffness and hardness updated !!! According to XVT:"The Lex ZL carbon blade is similar to the DHS Hurricane Long 5. It has the same structure and the same material. It is a powerful weapon based on highly elastic ZL carbon fiber and a high-quality spruce layer."- if anyone is confused about the veneer structure of this blade, they are just like me!!! :-/ ... Is there spruce under the limba outer layer ??? Facts: my (selected) blade weighs 89 grams and has an average, not too thin, FL handle. The bat blade size is 158 x 152 mm. (... and not 156 x 150 !!!!!) I have not yet had time to test this blade extensively. What was immediately apparent, however, is that it quickly becomes top-heavy and vibrates. I will try out different rubbers on the blade in the next few weeks and report back afterwards. - I currently think this blade is recommendable (still! ;-P). Apr 18, 2025

Review of Yinhe Yinhe T1SI'll probably get "thumbs up" again today!!! - but I just don't understand why entering "numbers" into the table should constitute a meaningful review!!! ... update to 02/22: Attention, this blade is listed too under "Yinhe T-1S" and to this day is the fastest blade I've ever played with. (- and there were some!) I had the opportunity to compare my Yinhe T-1s with the TSP Balsa 8.5 Top Speed (https://revspin.net/blade/tsp-balsa-85-top-speed.html) and the result was clear. The Yinhe Blade has significantly better ball feedback at the same speed !!! Facts: my blade has a strong FL handle and weighs 91 grams. The outer veneer is Hinoki, however, I could not find out what the core consists of !!! It´s extremely hard and stiff, but unfortunately does not provide enough feedback. (- less vibration, less feedback!!!) With softer rubbers, I couldn't feel the blade at all. Only with rubbers above 45 degrees (... I used a Nittaku FastArc G-1) did I get a feel for the blade. Ultimately, I have to admit that this blade is much to fast and uncontrolled for me. Conclusion: This blade is the fastest Yinhe blade of all and only suitable for higher-level players !!! ( ... who play with harder rubbers and should therefore receive better feedback from this blade.) Addendum: now that I've ordered this blade for the fourth time (for a friend), none of them weighed less than 89 grams. - an average of 90 to 92 g.!Sep 07, 2023

Yinhe T-4s

Review of Yinhe T-4sThe overall speed rating on this blade is a joke to me !!! Updated (from June 2021): T-4s is definitely not faster than the T-1s !!! - however, she really does have a much better control and gives you more feedback . As with all blades in the T-...s series, the handle is very strong and, as always, the workmanship is very good. Every dealer advertises this blade with a weight of 85 g +/- 3. Unfortunately, no one was able to deliver this weight! Sad !!! My first one weighed 91 g and the second 93 g. - AWFUL, if you need/like the offered maximum weight of 88 g.Addendum: This blade is quite good controlled for its fast speed, but clearly lags behind compared to the STUOR Nobilis ZLC Hinoki !!! - read my review under "Stuor". Yinhe T-5s

Review of Yinhe T-5sUpdated! - what has bothered me with all Yinhe T-...s purchases so far is that the weight information has never been reliable. When I asked for the lowest stated weight, I always got a negative answer. Ultimately all blades were at least 90 g. heavy !!! Facts: Blade with strong FL handle, weight (now!) 89 g. The outerplie is cypresse, the core ayous!!! ... the manufacturer specifies the speed of the blade as 10 and the control as 6. ( - and recommends this blade especially for a game at the table!) Althoug this blade vibrates only slightly, the ball feedback is quite good. Unfortunately, I currently have no way to compare this blade with the T-1s or T-4s to be able to go into more detail about the speed differences. I tested this blade with my favorite rubber, the Nittaku Fastarc G1, and the TSP Ventus Speed. I particularly noticed that the trajectory of my topspins was flatter than usual and the ball bounced very flat out after landing. In my opinion, the T-5s is between the T-1s and the T-4s in terms of speed. Interestingly, this blade is extremely similar to the Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki. However, the Stuor Nobilis is considerably more controlled, but cannot keep up with the price of the T-4s!!! CONCLUSION: almost as recommendable as the Stuor Nobilis !!! ;-P . - very fast. - there is a video about this blade on YouTube:www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgquVrXUwJA Oct 09, 2024
