Huieson V-1

I bought three of these blades in the meantime (last year and this year). The first weighed 77 g, the last two weighed 85 and 87 g. Depending on the weight, this blade can be softer or harder! Every street player or beginner is definitely well advised to buy this blade. It conveys a reasonably direct (acceptable) and controlled feel at medium tempo. In combination with better quality rubber, it is still an option even for advanced users. - I paid only 8,40 € (8,90 USD) for my last two blades (... at AliExpress) !!! :-P Addendum: I definitely recommend sealing this blade with clear varnish. - the blade surface is cleanly processed but still quite soft.

Bought 3 of these blades, £7.90 each from eBay. This is a fantastic ALL blade for players on a budget. Being so cheap, I had no idea what to expect in terms of quality but was pleasantly surprised by the good quality feeling/vibration it provides to your hand, which is perfect for beginners learning how to spin the ball. It also falls nicely into the ALL speed category. The only downside is it's below average craftsmanship, which can be improved significantly by sanding down the wings. I'd recommend this blade for players looking for a good budget 5-ply ALL blade, and to beginners who don't want to spend too much on equipment.

good control medium speed Gives a soft and comfortable touch Suitable for beginners-intermediate level. Very cheap price. Can be used as a practice stick or competition stick. (Reliable tires may be required) Great value.

The Huieson V-1 table tennis paddle is a solid choice for beginners. It offers decent speed and moderate ball feel, making it suitable for those still honing their skills. Considering its price point, the paddle provides good value, although its build quality is average at best. One of its standout features is definitely its affordability, which makes it accessible to a wide range of players. However, it's worth noting that the paddle's playing surface might feel slightly diminished due to its smaller size. Overall, while the Huieson V-1 may not excel in every aspect, it serves as a budget-friendly option for entry-level players looking to get started in the sport.
