The magic formula is: K1 + K3 = K4 Shortly after placing the K1 and K3 blades on the market, they belonged to the most successful blades in the table tennis scene. This success has induced us to do further research on sensorimotor grip design. The result is the new super blade JOOLA K4 with superior playing characteristics. Based upon the JOOLA technology "RAG* - ROUND ABOUT GRIP" (JOOLA is presently the only manufacturer worldwide using this complicated production method with computer-controlled machines) we have optimized the design of the JOOLA K4 grip - by means of a new T-slot inside the handle shells causing enlarged dampening zones and also through a reinforced transition from the handle to the blade veneers. The player experiences an unique playing feeling. The new design even better absorbs all disturbing vibrations of the blade.

Played with this blade tree moths ago for the first time (Killerspin Fortissimo 2.0 both sides, borrowed from friend), and I was amazed with control that I had, with such rubbers and fast blade. Stiffness is hard to determine, cause RAG technology impact on handle as well as on dwell time, so I have impression that dwell time is much longer that with my previous blade (BTY Grubba Carbon, Tenergy 05 1.7, Sriver L 2.0). I have ordered the same blade for myself, and put BTY Tenergy 05, 2.1 and Andro Hexar 2.0, as some kind of challenge for me. Gain much in speed and control during rally's, also able for long and from table chops, generate a lot of spin. It's hard to decide which rubber is optimal for this blade, whatever you put on it, control will be increased comparing with most of the other blades similar speed. Durability can be the problem if you look at the construction of handle itself, and complete blade, but... as some kind of comfort is the blade price, I'd say it's affordable. Feeling during the game is something that you should try, and if you get a chance don't miss it.
