Butterfly Grubba Carbon

Review of Butterfly Grubba CarbonAverage carbon blade with lack of speed. Suitable for play on the table and mid distance, with fast and spiny rubbers, it can be nice, but hard to deal with spiny balls.Even this is below average carbon blade, speed and control are in balance, and it's nice to play with it, but don't expect a miracle. God for beginners and basic techniques practice. Mar 26, 2015

JOOLA K4

Review of JOOLA K4Played with this blade tree moths ago for the first time (Killerspin Fortissimo 2.0 both sides, borrowed from friend), and I was amazed with control that I had, with such rubbers and fast blade. Stiffness is hard to determine, cause RAG technology impact on handle as well as on dwell time, so I have impression that dwell time is much longer that with my previous blade (BTY Grubba Carbon, Tenergy 05 1.7, Sriver L 2.0).I have ordered the same blade for myself, and put BTY Tenergy 05, 2.1 and Andro Hexar 2.0, as some kind of challenge for me. Gain much in speed and control during rally's, also able for long and from table chops, generate a lot of spin. It's hard to decide which rubber is optimal for this blade, whatever you put on it, control will be increased comparing with most of the other blades similar speed. Durability can be the problem if you look at the construction of handle itself, and complete blade, but... as some kind of comfort is the blade price, I'd say it's affordable. Feeling during the game is something that you should try, and if you get a chance don't miss it. Mar 26, 2015

JOOLA Viking

Review of JOOLA VikingAt the first place this is a high-quality blade, with some typical characteristics that you might like, adore, or dislike.Though the blade is marked as OFF, I'm using it as ALL+ with Tibhar VariSpin and Yasaka Mark V soft GPS rubbers, I'm considering putting the tensor rubber on it in the future to exploit the maximum of the blade speed&control, so far I'm satisfied with this combination, as a perfect ALL+ combination for me. Most impressive of this blade is the control you have during play, and the characteristic sound each stroke produces; if you get used to it, it will be a priceless combination. After playing with it for more than 36 months (2-3 times per week), the blade is still in perfect shape, like the first day I bought it. I would recommend it to all-around players striving to spin strokes and spin-based attacks with defense capabilities. Nice control from any distance from the table during attacks, blocks are controllable, but not so fast, and after1-2 blocks, you can easily get under a lot of pressure from the opponent. Blade is very nice for transitions and flicks during points, due to the remarkable feel on each stroke. If you get used to it, you can minimize errors. Most comments from my opponents while playing with it, are that it's amazing control, and how much effort they need to invest for each point due to my consistency. Update: I have put tensor rubbers on this blade, Donic Bluefire M2, and Palio AK-47 blue, this unleashed all the speed this blade possesses. Require more skill, and for me it is hard to keep the ball on the table....AK-47 removed after 2 trainings, and put back Mark V soft gps, this is a better combination for me, Fast and still controllable. Palio ENERGY 03

Review of Palio ENERGY 03Wonderful blade that I will recommend to everybody for at least 2-3 months playing, as it provides amazing interaction and feeling with your strokes, you can identify the smallest mistakes in each stroke, and improve it easily, also developing new techniques (Try avoiding tensor rubbers in first 2-3 months). The blade itself is not a beginner's blade. I might recommend it for mid to advanced players with All+ or OFF - styles. This is not my main blade, I use it occasionally, and it is perfect for testing the new rubbers. Be aware that there are 9ply, where 4 are fiber, which makes it extremely sensitive and fragile...any hit in the table edge or... can be the last one for this blade, I ordered two pieces immediately thanks to SalmanBaig's review, and I agree with him.May 06, 2025

Yinhe T11s

Review of Yinhe T11sThis is my first Yinhe blade, and I'm amazed by it's performance, quality, and fell while playing is amazing.Blade itself is OFF+ and I can say it is very fast, also control is very good for such a fast blade, so I have manage to handle some attacks and heavy balls that caused me problems before. I used to play mostly with Joola Viking, Joola K4, and BTY Grubba Carbon among others... Rubbers I have combined are DHS G888 black on fh and Hueison Crazy speed on bh side, both tuned with parafine oil in two pass, which increased their spin, and affect a speed a little bit. This combination is perfect for me, and the whole racket cost around 60€, which is amazing. I manage to handle transitions with a flick from both sides, attack close to the table, and mid-distance, block is controllable more than any other blades so far and surprisingly fast, so it puts your opponent under pressure all the time. Rubbers themselves require accommodation for chops and serves, as they are tacky, but after a few trainings, everything fits perfectly. I'm not sure how it will perform with European or Japanese tensor rubbers, but I will stick to this combination for some time, as it is amazing, and allows a lot of variations. Updated: Switch rubbers to: BH-Donic bluefire M2 and FH Palio AK-47 Red...fast, spinny for perfect attack, even flicks are acceptable, but not so good in chops and blocks, need more training to be able to provide objective feedback. After few weeks I give up, this is to fast for me and my skills, I'm not able to establish control...so I replace the rubbers with Tibhar VariSpin and Yasaka Mark V soft gps, played for few weeks, nice for block and smashes, but for spin and loops, or chops...not so good. Plan to put classic rubbers a bit slower. May 29, 2025
