This is a somewhat flexible, moderately-fast blade. I've been using it for 3 months and have been happy with how it lets me slow down the ball and put my own spin on it, I think it's helped me become a better player. At the same it's fast enough for my purposes, more of a recreational player playing around the USATT 1100 level.
I play inverted on my FH side and long pips on BH.
This was my first blade. My impression now is that i could have picked a better one, but for the first 2 months of a beginner's journey into table tennis is ok. The pros: Nice soft sweet spot with decent feeling.
The cons:1) The big minus is the small sweet spot, smaller than the regular wood blades. Combine it with the beginner's accuracy and it makes shots far more difficult than it should.
2) Slow as hell. After the 2 months you want to do some more aggressive shots. This blade doesn't help. It's more meant for defensive play than attacking. I would say an All- blade.
3) Weird vibrations. You get a lot of weird vibration especially when you don't hit the sweet spot.
All in all this is a blade for you if you only play table tennis a couple of times a year. If you intend to get more serious with table tennis, don't buy. There are lots of other better wood classic blades.
There two main points to describe this blade: gears and control. Very reliable in short game and blocking, Very good control at mid distance. Dwell time is great, very comfortable to play with Hurricane 3 on forehand and any euro tensor on backhand. Pure offensive allround blade for player who wants control the game by spin and rhythm variations
An Off- blade that supports a spin driven, offensive, all- round play. Good feedback on impact (if you like the vibrations, which to me, is not excessive). Slight flex. Excellent for blocks and big strokes. The blade's best performance appears to be concentrated on the medium paced spectrum. Being 5 ply, far away from table strokes need a bit more effort. I use Refoma 2mm FH and MkV M2, 2mm BH. The handle can be a little thicker. Still. amazing quality, great playability for its price.
