What can I say about this blade? It´s very, very underrated. Maybe people are so addicted to famous brands such Butterfly, Donic and others that don´t even bother trying unknown blades like Palio Energy 03. This blade gives so much control all the time. Serving, receiving, opening topspins, blocking, counter looping... Everything is much easier to do with this blade. But... why? I believe its construction is the reason. Instead of usual 2 carbon layers this blade has 4 carbon layers, and they are very thin layers. I think this is what people used to call "soft carbon". This results in a nice touch (mild, not crisp), almost like you have with 1-ply hinoki blades, with big dwell time. And... does not vibrates at all. Two excellent features: long dwell time and zero vibration. With all this softness you can receive serves easily and block topspins perfectly. However... it has many gears. When looping hard, carbon fibers show up giving a sharp sound and adding power, but still maintaining medium soft touch. It´s very different from hard carbon blades like Primorac Carbon or Schlager. These are beasts of speed but way harder to control. PE03 is not that fast but it does not need to be since the right playing style for this blade is allround attacker. The amount of benefits you get from this blade, considering its low cost, is unbeatable.

Quite fast composite blade with four soft carbon layers for quite a lot of speed, but still allowing good control. It has good control for position and pace,. especially for short and medium games. It lacks a bit at longer distance as it is not that fast. More of a control attack blade. Overall: Recommended for control attacking players who require good control in a medium-fast blade. My review scores: Speed: 8.9; Control: 9.2 Stiffness: Stiff; Hardness: Medium hard Consistency: Always identical Overall: 9.0

Amazing wood for speed and control but quality is pathetic. Just a little collision with table and wood from top is damaged badly. Though still playable.

Wonderful blade that I will recommend to everybody for at least 2-3 months playing, as it provides amazing interaction and feeling with your strokes, you can identify the smallest mistakes in each stroke, and improve it easily, also developing new techniques (Try avoiding tensor rubbers in first 2-3 months). The blade itself is not a beginner's blade. I might recommend it for mid to advanced players with All+ or OFF - styles. This is not my main blade, I use it occasionally, and it is perfect for testing the new rubbers. Be aware that there are 9ply, where 4 are fiber, which makes it extremely sensitive and fragile...any hit in the table edge or... can be the last one for this blade, I ordered two pieces immediately thanks to SalmanBaig's review, and I agree with him.

This is the best table tennis blade among budget blades. I bought this Palio for $ 10 in AliExpress. I installed (glued) the Friendship / 729 Battle 2 Gold 40 ° rubber on the open side, and glued the Yinhe Jupiter 3 Euro 39 ° rubber to the closed side. This racket allows you to play a universal game with a hit on the ball with a lot of spin and high control when hitting the ball with a lot of spin from the opponent, from any zone from the table (even from the 3rd zone far, carbon helps). The weight of the base is 87 grams. In the promotion in AliExpress, the racket assembled with these rubbers costs only $ 28.7 (seller's discount plus store discount)!!
