Unique 7-Ply offensive blade for all-round topspin players. Exceptional stability from high level of predictability.

SOLO is a unique 7-ply blade which is developed for continuous topspin or all-round strategy. Though it has 7-ply construction, its feel isn't hard as players are apt to imagine from conventional 7-ply blades. Solo is soft, mild, balanced, and full of stability. And, the linear relationship between impact strength and the level of rebound provides ideal predictability and reproducibility. The result is exceptional stability and ease of use. Every technique of table tennis is so easy with SOLO. Topspin is quite easy and full of rotation. Hard smash is very safe and full of speed. Block is secure and full of variation. These advantages give players great confidence, and making their table tennis more all-around, and more powerful.

Firstly this blade looks amazing and feels amazing. Extremely well controlled blade. Good for looping and pairs well with slightly harder rubbers. Note that this blade can easily chip off wood if the blade hits the table. The handle is quite comfortable and overall I am very satisfied with the blade.

This is my most recent favourite all-wood blade, which mostly has the structure of "the" classical 7 ply all-wood blade (e.g. Stiga Clipper, or TSP SWAT, which I am more familiar with), but with a few twists. The most notable changes are, that for the outer ply not the medium/medium soft Limba is used, but the semi-hard Koto, and its thickness is almost the same as the second ply - this means a noticeable speed and some stiffness boost for this blade compared to e.g. TSP SWAT, and some reduction in vibration, but the blade has still good feedback to remain soulful, and the flex becomes noticeable only on more powerful shots, making this a dream blade of powerloopers. The blade plays very linear and precise, but with slightly more direct arc due to a slight reduction of dwell time compared to its thin Limba-top siblings. I recommend using this blade with semi-hard/hard sponged rubbers with a slightly reduced initial catapult/bounce to match the blade's qualities in the best way (I use it with Tibhar Evolution MX-S and Nittaku Fastarc G-1 - these seem to pair well with this blade). On less powerful shots, the blade does not flex significantly due to its rather, but not overly large thickness (~6.4 mm), which also helps precise blocking. To mention details about craftsmanship, I think, the overall look and feel is top notch: ply choices are flawless (the azure coloured handle is also the best possible combination with these), sanding around the edges are evenly smooth - and I love, how this Xiom all-wood blade is balanced (with these rather heavy rubbers, it is still only somewhat head heavy). The flared handle has also sufficient dimensions and smoothness to be comfortable and firmly gripped, when necessary.

Performs exactly as in the product description. Using DHS Nittaku H2 Pro on both FH & BH. Was using same rubbers on carbon blade and found that i had to try too hard to get the ball on the table for the BH. Either balls go long or into the net. Same setup with the solo i could just focus on placement and that will do. Blocks are fantastic and so is the short game. FH has great feel and control with plenty spin. Solo is best for close to mid table. Some might find lacking in power if your FH is primarily arm driven. You need good technique with good use of legs to get sufficient power or else you will find this blade has plenty of control but lacking in power especially if you use a Chinese hard rubber. Very versatile blade And good allrounder if you have the proper stroke to make up for the slight lack in speed. Would have liked if the rounded the edges of the wings.

Completely agree with description from manufacturer. Weight 90 grams, medium softnes, light feel. Combined with xiom omega 4 elite and i am very satisfied with result. Spiny, light feel, quite fast if make effort. Slow game with backspin also is controllable. Very nice fits in hand and is good finish quality. Great topspins, blocks.

Damned, another blade I'm feeling so comfortable for my style (offensive, spinoriented, blocking, smashing). Paired with Fastarc G-1. I've fun in training cause verything works in great manner. Have 5 different blades now I can't decide the favourite. Season starts now and any match play should lead me to final decision. I'm really curious about that
