Palio R57 Soft-Carbon
Review of Palio R57 Soft-CarbonGot few minutes play with Palio R57&vega x.It got woody feel, ball contact not sharp as usually on carbon blades, but mild and click sound&feel minimised, during slow play - good control. On topspin i got weird long/high balls. Strange as with own setup(Vega pro&Xiom solo) i dont get them usually. Need to adjust angle coming from another setup. Seems like higher throw....could be good for looping backspin. Update: It stayed in bag all this time. Tested again- wow, it felt sharp and with muted vibrations. Same as other high end blades. I was surprised how good it felt. Maybe at first try glue hadnt been dried out or run in period wasnt passed, but now this combo was avesome(Vega x+Palio r57). Mar 08, 2024

Palio ENERGY 03

Review of Palio ENERGY 03Tested with Vega x. It has great control, almost no vibrations(not for beginers). Very linear, no surprises as sometimes come from Zlc blade. Swapped to Zlc with vega pro- opponent said speed is same, but balls come more sharply, spinny from zlc blade with vp.Maybe vp itself is a bit more sharper/spiny rubber. Or it is zlc behaviour. But with zlc i got less control. PE3 is very comfortable and is confidence booster. When hit harder- speed is good. Overall very good blade. Weight 87 grams, handle rounded and wider at bottom compared to another blades. Apr 07, 2022

Sanwei M-8

Review of Sanwei M-8Had a few hits with this blade+lkt pro xp:Looping is ok, a lot of feedback from blade. Flat hitting on fh nice. Of course slower than own setup, but for beginers is just right. On bh flat conact vibrated too much for my taste, maybe because of too soft rubber( i use ~ 47 degrees hard rubbers) But in play with loop was ok. Maybe rubbers with hardness ~ 42-45 would suit it better. Nice option for beginners. Apr 30, 2014

Review of Xiom Feel AXTested with vega x. It felt fast, but with good control. Vibrations are muted. Spin is more, blocks on heavy topspin are easier than on my previos zlc+vp.Mar 08, 2024

XVT ZLC Carbon
Review of XVT ZLC CarbonThis blade is fast. Control is ok, but excells at loops, counterloops, smashes. Requires good skill from player, but reward when attacking is extra speed and spin loaded balls.Rubbers should be at least 45deg(Vega pro mxp,s1,m1,etc). Update after 4 years: Played with xiom aramid carbon blade (feel ax), which is more crisp and powerfull and then switched to xvt zlc - it has control and enough speed, but feel ax is more agresive and vibrates less. So xvt zlc is slower, but with better control. Woodish feel and vibrates a bit on hard strokes. Mar 22, 2024

Yinhe T-11

Review of Yinhe T-11Have been playing with galaxy t11+lkt rapid speed for few months. At the begining it was quite difficult to control the game. Now i am able to fh topspin, flathining, blocking and bh chopping/hitting. Nice blade and sound is different from others. After a while.... i find this combo too fast. Maybe with softer sponge it would be better. Looping backspin is not consistent. Switched with one player who has t05. For me more control and forgiviness, for opponent with t11+rs - when the ball catches in rubber - ok, but needs to work more with this setup compared to t05. Sometimes i find out that passive play is not for this combo, just to loose points. If you start to loop/smash points are going back, but with strong chopper it is hard job(soft sponge could improve looping). Have talked to another t11 user with h3 - also complains that it is too hard and tiny dwell time. Yeah but on another hand when you smash - ball goes like rocket. Edit: played with allround racket for a while and then tried t11 again. There is no click as it is with allround racket. Seems like it is thought for smashing/hitting. Not the best option for beginners/intermediates who want to play allround style with defense/attack. Meanwhile i know one chopper/hitter and he is quite satisfied with it. And he has long pimples out on one side. Both sides are quite soft. Apr 01, 2013

Yinhe Y-4
Review of Yinhe Y-4Great blade. Acceptable speed and good control. On topspins and smashes appears some vibrations what is good for controling your beat.Blade head little bit heavy compared to others blades, but this maybe because of heavy rubbers. Seems that works great with soft to medium rubbers. On hits appears solid click sound. Mar 29, 2013
