Review of Andro Rasant GripTried it at max thickness on an offensive 6 ply blade and it felt very spinny, fairly fast although the top gears are non existent because max thickness won't really let you get through the sponge and let the hard wood kick in on a smash. It is good for very controlled, mid-close to the table defensive blocking and counterlooping, although in my opinion it is too heavy and lacks versatility. I liked the PowerGrip version a lot better. If you are looking for a soft sponge ESN-made TENSOR rubber, I would reccomend Xiom Vega Europe over this. Plus, green sponge doesn't really look that great compared to Xiom VE´s (still pretty soft) powerfull black carbo sponge

Review of DHS NEO Skyline 2 TG2With the right strokes you can play every shot with this rubber. It is amazingly versatile, and amazingly spinny. As to power you get what you put in. That is why it is true that a Penhold player will get the most out of this rubber's highest spin-speed gears. For the first 10 hours of play this rubber felt like a dissappointment: completely dead. After that it "Breaks out" as many say and starts playing like a real quality rubber. And oh does it play. A spin machine. I decided to boost -the sponge only- with 2 layers of olive oil while it was still fairly new, and it took 48 hours under a heavy press to glue to the blade correctly and stabilize, but after that it has given life to ANY blade I have stuck it to, no matter how recreation-level (low quality) the blade got. It is a blast! Nothing plays like a boosted Skykine, and this topsheet is just magnificent, even to look at. If you play the right strokes (shakehand or penhold), you will have a lot of fun with this rubber, boosted or not, and your oponents not so much ;)

Review of Donic Acuda Blue P2This rubber is absolute magic. Great active and passive blocks, close and middle distance topspin and looping is absolutely fantastic. Godly spin on FH loops. Using the red at 2.0 with yasaka sweden extra (al wood 5 ply all+) and absolutely reccommend this rubber over other tensors or built in speed glue effect rubbers. Chops are achievable with good technique but to me it is more suited to a spin based offensive allround technique. Glue it to a fast stiff blade like BTY TB ALC and it will absolutely smash, maxing out and giving you great feel and beautiful sound. Great quality, beautiful blue porous sponge, after 70+ hours of play it is still grippy as new. P2 Will certainly let you play the top of your game if you play allround to allround offensive at any thickness depending on your average distance to the table and your ability to produce counter-topspins (thickness below 2mm will not let you counter from a distance as it does not allow enough dwell).

Review of JOOLA MAXXX-PAs rated, you get great control with this rubber, and can still achieve great spin and speed with ease. I used it on backhand before I decided to switch to the softer Evo MXS. This rubber has great catapult, great spin and great control. As advertised, MaX speed, MaX spin, maX control. Could not decide wether to use it for FH por BH. Really does everything from chops to smashes really well. Grippy as new after 20+ hours of robot play over a dusty flor (balls get really dirty). It does make a difference wether you hit celluloid or poly ball. It grips poly ball a lot better and can really make it spin, A LOT. P for Poly ball. Great quality, Not very appealing -to me- springy yellow sponge.

Review of Reactor Ckylin New (Blue Sponge)Cheap price, decent quality but will not keep up with modern spin and speed standards. Easy and fun to play with and consistent but not for competition or club level play. Not even Booster-compatible as it has a porous, sort of built in speed glue imitation blue sponge. It does look factory tuned and bound to fail even more if boosted.

Review of Reactor CorborAfter boosting both the sponge and topsheet with olive oil it feels amazing. Alive, spinny and dynamic. Although overall not very consistent and before boosting it is useless.

Review of SpinLord TigerAt the low price range, I have to say this Spinlord rubber has better quality than Reactor and other similar chinese brands I have used. Consistency and control are great, spin and speed are just below an average mark V. Good BH rubber for interm-advanced players on a budget. Can do everything with precision and will help you improve your shots. I paired this on a BTY TB ALC for my father and it turned out to give de ALC the 'feel' I thought it was missing to provide a middle aged man with a steady backhand for a close to the table topspin strategy.

Review of Tibhar Evolution MX-SGreat quality, beautiful red sponge. Spinny, slower than acuda blue p2 or joola maxxx-p on the short game because of soft topsheet, but as spinny as P2 (as spinny as it gets) and as fast or even faster on flat hits or power loops because of the Red Power (medium hard) Sponge. Great for BH blocking, pushing, looping and topspins at close to middle distance from the table. Using max thickness and an off to off+ blade you could get it to produce awesome, tenergy-competing speed and spin with great consistency far from the table too. Serves can be deadly. Good price also. Vladi Samsonov plays Tibhar MX series on both wings. However for lower level club or competition play I reccommend 2.0 thickness on BH using an all+ 5ply wood blade. I used it with Yasaka Sweden Extra and really love the variations and Allroundness of MX-S. Real must try. Also, this is one of the few non ESN rubbers that really compete with Tenergy at the top levels, and the construction is also more similar to Tenergies than to ESN tensors due to it having more natural rubber on the topsheet, and a really premium quality red sponge (like Tenergy's).

Review of Xiom Sigma II ProWhat Xiom says on the package about SIIPro:
Hard sponge, close-mid distance from table, control-mixed-aggressive srategies, Tour expertise (the highest after Elite and Pro), High-Very High Impact Speed, VHigh-Extreme Spin (Ball contact), Extreme-VHigh Precision.
What I Think:
I consider all of Xiom's claims to be true (And although I am not a Tour player, the feel of SIIPro is breathtaking. It does feel like a pro tour quality rubber -would feel to me. This rubber has an infnite amount of gears and speed-spin combo resources for close mid distance players (most players) without any exageration. INSANE CONTROL, automaticity and versatility make this rubber a true premium experience at half the price of Tenergy and other similar ESN's. I used this all back beauty on BH with a yasaka extra allround blade and really felt like I hit the lottery. I absolutely loved it and began to explore the universe of jaw dropping shots and rallies SIIPro provides con the FH wing. It turns out ir is DEFINETELY A FH rubber, reccommended with 11/10 overall. Out of the best rubbers I have ever tried, this -at max thick- comes a close first before Acuda Blue P2 -2.0mm-, JOOLA Maxxx-p, Tibhar Evo mx-s,
Technical comment:
This rubber is made by ESN with the same sponge-topsheet dynamics as andro rasant for example, that is TENSOR® & BIOS ®. Difference is the sponge: Xiom's sponge is much harder, and behaves even more dynamicaly than the iconic green sponge. This comes as a pleasant surprise to anyone that's tried Rasant rubbers that tend to surprise oponents based on versatility and spin. While the carbo sponge outplays the green sponge during close-mid distance play, RASANT rubbers excell at long distance play due to softer, bouncier sponges in general.

Review of Yasaka Rising DragonVery good rubber! Indeed Yasaka finally managed to combine a tension sponge and a chinese style tacky topsheet, and the combination feels really good. Monstruosly aggressive and spinny, yet very well behaved while blocking, serving and playing short pushes over the table. If your training can manage the tricky control and unforgiving throw angle, this is a top choice both for FH and BH.

Review of Yasaka Rakza 7At 2mm on an all wood blade, the ball contact is extremely pleasant, and extremely accurate at low and high speeds. You can get this for 4H at max thick or 2mm for BH and definetely teach any tenergist a few lessons. GREAT FEEL, Great rubber. Up there with Xiom Sigma IIPro, Ten 05/ 05fx, and all the greats, at great price too.
