Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05 FXT-05 FX imho is a better rubber than T-05 for an average advanced amateur player. T-05 is very sensitive (to the incoming spin, that is) and is not easy to control in short game. T-05 FX is still pretty sensitive but its overall control is better, and it makes up for it in other qualities. It is slightly slower than regular T-05, has about same throw angle. Plays beautifully on BH, great blocking, and opening loops are much easier. However if your blade (overall speed) is not fast enough you might have some problems adjusting your kill-loops. The positive side is that you can put this one on very fast blades like Amultart or Schlager Carbon and the combo will behave in a pretty good manner (control-wise).
Don't forget that virtually all Tenergy rubbers require attention and constant working-the-ball approach - you cannot get lazy. T-05 FX is slightly better in that regard but still it will punish you for careless pushes or if you simply put the racket in front of a spinny ball.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 64 FXThis was kind of a disappointment after T-05 FX. I was expecting something similar but with a bit more speed and little less spin. That was not so. These are two very different rubbers (amazing level of difference, seeing as how the only thing that distinguishes them is the position and shape of pips).
Speed - yes, a bit faster than T-05 FX.
Spin - less than T-05 FX; lots less in lighter strokes. You really need to apply yourself to generate a lot of spin.
Control - about the same as T-05 FX, but sometimes unexpectedly pops up the ball, or sends it long.
Basically zero of that softish ball-sticking-in-the-rubber feeling that I had with T-05 FX.
Very low throw, much lower than T-05 FX. Couldn't use it on BH without severe adjustment of my grip.
The rubber is surprisingly much more linear in not-very-powerful shots than almost all other Tenergy rubbers. Almost made me say "this is not a Tenergy!"
Probably plays much better on thin flexy blades - mine are 7-8 mm thick with low or very low flex.

Review of Dawei Inspirit Quattro Ultralight Power 42Read the other IQUL reviews if you want general info about Dawei IQUL rubbers. I will add that this is the hardest (around 40 on DHS scale) version of IQUL, therefore the speediest and the least sensitive rubber in that range. I would advise to use on FH for loopers used to having something like a glued Sriver L, or on BH for blockers/counterdrivers who want to slow down their fast blade for better control on backhand but still keep good speed and excellent flat game on that side. Mostly for players who have advanced technique and good touch control - otherwise stick with IQUL 40/35.

Review of Gambler Wraith (Wrath)Extremely reliable and useful rubber - tackiness helps a lot over the table, with loops (especially slow ones). At the same time the sponge is springy, Japanese-style and therefore gives you enough speed and bounce to play even several steps away from the table (absolutely none of that mushy feeling you sometimes get from tacky rubbers even if they are fast). Blocks are good too. This is a great inexpensive rubber for those who play placement-oriented controlled offensive or allround game, but once in a while need a fast shot or a smash as well. Slightly harder and faster than Shadow. Plays great on my BH but is also quite comfortable on FH.

Review of Giant Dragon Karate HardGreat backhand rubber for my style. Not too sensitive to the incoming spin, great control (especially in 2.0 thickness), very confident in everything. Quite similar to glued Sriver L but a bit springier and harder sponged (around 40 degrees). I started using it instead of Gambler Outlaw and lost almost none of the speed, hardness or insensitivity (which is great when playing against LP, MP, anti) but added some control in short game and spin.

Review of KTL (LKT) Rapid SpeedBest out of Rapid series. Does everything well. Relatively low throw, fast, spinny, good topsheet, very confident and pretty much linear. This is more or less a cheap contemporary substitute for Sriver L (no regluing required!). Sensitivity is also pretty low, which is good. Very good control in short game. Don't put it on bouncy carbon blades - combo would be too much to handle for an under 2200 player (unless you are an all-out attacker who doesn't care much for touch & placement shots). I prefer it on BH but it can play on FH as well (you just need a flexier blade if you intend to loop with it).
Again - one of the best of the new generation rubbers under $30-40 dollars (it's $14 actually).

Review of KTL (LKT) Rapid SoftI agree with JimC. Good cheap replacement for Sriver FX, and also very good for beginning players who need to concentrate on technique development. Could work even with slow blades if you do not step away from the table.

Review of KTL (LKT) Red Diamond MechanicalThis is a very nice rubber which is close to Tenergy 64 in speed, better in spin (not as great as Tenergy 05, of course), very reliable. Less catapult but very good control in short game, somewhat due to slight tackiness which doesn't interfere (at all!) with attacking or placement shots. Generally, can serve as a replacement for Tenergy 80 with one serious difference - it is noticeably faster in offensive shots. Very good grab - seriously! I would say comparable to Tenergy 80. Topsheet grab durability is however less than Tenergy series - after a couple of months you can feel that the spin it produces becomes less troublesome for your opponents. But for twenty bucks this is still awesome and worthy alternative to T-64 and T-80.

Review of KTL (LKT) Golden Star LoopFeels a bit sluggish at first, so I would advise installing it on a somewhat faster blade; perhaps harder carbon would be a good fit. Doesn't do anything at an elite level but it is a decent and reliable rubber. Some sticky-ball effect is present, similar to old style tacky Chinese rubbers (but weaker, of course). No catapult, but good ball grab.

Review of Palio Macro EraPME 47.5. This is the only rubber that sells for under $30 (or even $50) which can approach and even improve on Tenergy 05 for me (we are talking about FH here). Great speed, a touch less spin than T-05, same hardness and definitely way less sensitivity to the other guy's spin. This is a real ESN tensor with lots of click, speed and spin. Plays great on soft or med-soft blades, including OFF and OFF- ones (Galaxy W-1, T-8, Nexy Color, 729 V-6, TBS etc.). Longer reviews and discussions are available on MyTableTennis.net

Review of Reactor Ckylin New (Blue Sponge)Maybe I got unlucky but this turned out to be a pretty slow rubber. I was actually trying to get something around (OFF-) close to Palio Hidden Dragon, but this one was certainly slower, at least in the beginning - but I was comparing that to a new PHD as well. Somewhat sticky/tacky (not like Hurricanes and Skyline, of course) with quite a lot of control. However I cannot recommend this to attacking players unless you put it on some really fast blade (like, say, Yinhe T-2,3,4,8 or similar). Medium hardness, seems quite durable, no catapult. Certainly better as FH rubber imho, and definitely for a player who stays close to the table.

Review of Tibhar Aurus SoftI bought this rubber to test it as a possible sub for Tenergy 05 FX. On a fast and relatively stiff carbon-hinoki blade it certainly fits the bill, especially on FH. You get a very nice controlled opening spinny loop, and it is more reliable than T-05 FX in blocks and slower strokes. Nice click in power loops. Catapult seems a little better controllable, a bit more linear than with T-05 FX but that's a very individual preference. Very much recommended. Also you can find webstores where they will sell it to you for under 40 dollars, so that's another plus.
