Tibhar Evolution MX-S
Review of Tibhar Evolution MX-SI have been using the Tibhar MXS in 1.9 on my backhand (mostly) for around 6 months now.I use it on a Donic True Inner Carbon blade. This is a fantastic rubber that excels at top spins, drives, flicks, blocks, chop blocks, and even punches. Unsurprisingly, it's crispier and more direct than the Yasaka Rakza Z (MAX) I use on the forehand. Banana and strawberry flicks are particularly enjoyable, as well as loops and counters, and blocks/punches. Flat hits, smashes, and short touches are also very good quality, while I find it a little harder to execute classic chops. The only main drawback I find is its durability is okay. After using it for 6 months about 8 hours per week I can tell the spin has started to reduce, while my Yasaka Rakza Z seems to be more durable. Overall, it's an outstanding rubber! Tibhar Hybrid K3
Review of Tibhar Hybrid K3I got my first sheet a few month ago and have been pleasantly surprised with this rubber.I've been using on the forehand of an inner carbon blade. The level of control is insane. Short touches and blocking are extraordinarily precise. Forehand drives and smashes are very consistent and the bat produces a characteristic click sound when hitting through the ball. Looping is also excellent. The spin generated is less than my previous Razka Z but still very high, especially when serving. Countering against top spin is excellent, too: I noticed that using this bat I tend towards hitting through the ball more than I used to with my previous Razka Z. Control and blocking are unreal. I'm enjoying it. I'm slightly concerned about durability: I haven't noticed any major degradation in terms of performance after using it for 2 months 2 times per week. Maybe the spin has started decreasing a little, but I'm using a rubber clean/rejuvenator which I think has helped with durability a little. The price is a bit high though, if the durability does turn out to be as bad as like other reviews say. Not sure I'll buy it again in the immediate future. May 14, 2024

Victas V > 22 Double Extra
Review of Victas V > 22 Double ExtraThis is a very balanced offensive rubber which offers outstanding spin and control, along with good power/speed.I'd say it can be used on the forehand as well as the backhand. This rubber excels at touch play over the table, flicks, top spins and counter top spins, blocks. I'd say it shines at medium distance from the table or over the table (flicks). When used for looping, it tends to produce a low arc. Serving is excellent too. If I had to find a weakness, perhaps it'd be its price. In terms of durability, it's reasonable, it depends how well it's maintained: protective film and liquid cleaner helps a lot It's not as bad as Tibhar K3, but not outstanding either. Xiom Omega V Tour
Review of Xiom Omega V TourI used Xiom Omega V Tour 2.0 black on the backhand for around 6 months on a Donic True Inner Carbon blade. This is an excellent rubber with the following strong points: - an extremely well-balanced between control, spin, speed, slightly in favor of the spin side. - good catapult effect - very durable - reasonable price I can only find a couple of small week points in my opinion: - weight. It is a heavy rubber. - catapult effect: this can be a positive or a negative, depending on personal taste. While blocking/countering top-spins, it does reward active blocking and adjusting the angle of the bat. When I first started using it, sometimes blocking passively resulted in the ball shooting off or going long beyond the table. It's easy enough to adjust to it though. Touch play is still good considering it's a fairly fast rubber, with tensor (I believe). Looping and opening against back spin is a pleasure. I would definitely recommend it to any intermediate players. Mar 11, 2025

Yasaka Rakza Z
Review of Yasaka Rakza ZExcellent hybrid rubber that I have been using on a Donic True Inner Carbon for the forehand mostly.I got it in a MAX thickness. It's my second hybrid rubber after I tried a second-hand Butterfly Dignics 09C. Comparing a new rubber with a used one is unfair but this rubber appears to be tackier and spinnier than Dignics 09C. Durability is also excellent. I've used it for 6 months now playing around 7/8 hours per week and it's still in a good condition able to grab the ball for a couple of seconds when it's clean. I have been taking care of it by cleaning it with water and/or a rubber cleaner after each session. Speed is not extreme but it's definitely good enough. Looping top spins, short touches, chops, and chop blocks are all easy: the slightest active wrist variation results in spins of excellent quality. Counter and blocking are very good, too, and they require a closer bat angle when compared to a tensor rubber like Tibhar MXS (which I use on the backhand). The only real drawback I can find is that flat smashes feel a little mushy but can still be performed reasonably well. Nov 18, 2023
