DHS Hurricane 3-50

Review of DHS Hurricane 3-50I have played the neo h3 and skyline 2 and i like those rubbers quite a bit but for my game I fine the h3-50 the best fit. I have it max black on my forehand and I just love loop to loop rallies with this rubber. Lots of control and Looping with this rubber is the most automatic with huge amounts of spin that I have experienced. When I'm in a loop exchange (say on the second or third loop) with little effort and my shot looking similar I can dig the ball in a bit more and produce a ball that kicks enough to cause problems often end the exchange making a them miss or my opponents shot will often go long off the table. The kick is not quite like a tenergy kick that speeds up and stays low but rather it kicks higher which also is very effective with top side stroke. I also reall like how it's easy to play balls that are hard to get to. Low balls that are below the table are easer to loop back effective shots than with the neo h3 or skyline 2. Also higher or the almost out of reach balls that I'm having to really move or reach and i may not be in the best position to hit can be zipped back down on the table with great late spin as long as I insure I'm on top of the ball when reaching them. Mine is tacky but not as tacky as some dhs rubbers I have had. I can pick a ball up for a second maybe two it still produces lots of spin. I find it to also be effective while blocking even a few steps back. I don't feel a drop off in the short game serves are great, but with out a doubt the neo h3 is better at flat kills. Plays is improved with a mid stiff, mid hard blade off- blades. I'm playing it on a hrt clipper wood at the moment.Jan 04, 2016

Sanwei Gears

Review of Sanwei GearsI am absolutely addicted to table tennis however I play primarily for fun. I have found this to be a fantastic back hand rubber with great control and a forgiving nature for my style of play. I can do all the shots with my back hand but I struggle with consistency in match play this rubber really helped me keep matches going and having confidence to hit shots. do to its versatility it would make a Great beginning rubber for both sides. I have played S gears (in red with max sponge) for a few months now on my back hand and as soon as I switched it really seemed to improve my play. It's insensitive to incoming spin and can produce great top spin shots. amazing touch with the short game serve return. When attacking this rubber also gives me a high level of confidence and is effective especially for close to the table play. However if you like playing euro tension rubbers this would not be for you. You would need to really hit it hard starting at mid to long distance and brush loops are on the slow side from all distances. But for a player such as myself who's best back hand shot is a topspin drive this rubber works really well since the gears do kick in more with that shot. Also at first I played it on a slow looping blades (Swedish classic and Donic Waldner all play) on a whim I picked up a Huaruite Clipper a clone of the stiga clipper which is still not fast but has more speed, less flex and is a bit stiffer and that has really improved the the effectiveness when attacking with this rubber without losing the ability to have touch. Do to how its performance would recommend this rubber at a much higher price point at 14 bucks it's a steal.Dec 10, 2015
