Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05I have no problem with this rubber! It works better than anything else I found for my style and dimensions. PROS: good at everything; Superb control if you are accustomed to the high throw ; Can be used on back or forehand CONS: Haven't really found any.....maybe not as fierce attack as Hurricane III national blue sponge, but much more pleasant for me to use.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 80I have only had this rubber for 6 weeks, so I don't know much yet and I don't like to say much without thorough testing. I will say at this point I really,, really like this rubber. My favorite rubber to date has been the tenergy 05, but this rubber rivals it. It is actually a lot like 05 to me, yet I notice a substantially lower arc and, seems to have a noticeably less spin and response to incoming spin. Other than that, it is probably faster with a little more dwell time than the 05.
IT IS REALLY fast when you hit the ball hard and clean!!

Review of DHS Hurricane 3 National (Blue Sponge)One thing comes to mind when using this rubber and that is GEARS! I have used this rubber for about four months now playing close to 90 hours a month. This rubber has so many gears and can actually be very demanding rubber. I still think it is excellent rubber, because it can help you win in tough battles as a diverse and vicious weapon. I find I can be more deceptive in my attacks with this rubber than most players can handle (thus far), but it comes at a price of needing to use a lot of discipline when stroking the ball. Price is Insane!
I rate the control high because it does what you ask it to, BUT it will do so many things with the smallest tweek that it is not good for beginners for sure.
Fun to try, great rubber but going back to tenergy05 or trying something new just for fun.
Still been playing with this rubber, and I still find it to be super rubber. After playing now for a while with it I can see that if I wanted to spend the time on it, I think it might have more potential on the forehand side than the tenergy 05. It is however, harder (for me anyway) to use than the 05, but maybe that is just me. huge performance on good strokes......amazing really.

Review of Friendship/729 Super FX Blue SpongeExcellent begginer rubber! My daughter has this rubber and it works perfectly for her learning. I do not find it as spinny (which I think is good for learning) or heavy as some people do. You can do any stroke with it and it does the stroke well and does not cause a beginner to hesitate to hit the ball, BUT you can still win matches with it at low lvls. I WOULD NEVER recomend it for higher lvl players in tourniment use, but might be the best beginner training rubber you can ask for.
One small thing against it for beginner is I think it is better forehand rubber and I like beginner to use the same rubber on both sides.

Review of Friendship/729 General (Cross sponge)To me this is a perfect beginner or training rubber, very balanced with great control and CHEAP. If you use it in contests you likely won't like it, because it has beginner/training rubber performance. I think it might improve a lot of newer players to back up and practice with a rubber like this instead of using high performance rubbers all the time, just have something with more performance in tournaments. NOTE: I no longer would use this rubber as long as you can get kokutaku 868.

Review of Friendship/729 HigherI think this is a good training rubber, but I like the general sponge much better for training or beginner. The one arguement in favor of higher I can see is; if you plan to end up using springy sponge later on, this sponge has a little more spring in it (If that helps anything). But, it "binds up" your stroke more if you are trying to learn a stroke in my opinion.
For a tournament winning sponge as a beginner, maybe this would be good also, but I wonder if it is too low performance with too little control for that. To me, it is not enough more than general sponge in performance to merit using it. If you want more performance a bigger step than this rubber might be better.

Review of Kokutaku Blutenkirsche 868 Tokyo Super Tacky (yellow Pack)AMAZING control for people who are learning to play, yet allows them to learn anything. Allows for free play ( not hesitating to hit the ball). Possibly the best training rubber (for beginners) when combined with a good blade that I have found. I like it way more than any of the 729 ( or other cheap brands) rubber and is just as cheap. Amigo wrote a more detailed and accurate review on this rubber and would recommend reading it. This rubber is INSANELY loud!!

Review of Kokutaku Blutenkirsche 868 TokyoIf you are wanting to learn a euro/jap style rubber without paying too much, this might be an option. I haven't used it personally much, but my daughter is using it on her backhand and it is working very well. Springy, soft and much faster than the yellow 868 and you can put some pressure on your opponents with it, but yellow is much better for learning overall I think so far. It really is VERY soft and springy sponge. A lot of fun to play with! Note: She has the softer version of this rubber.

Review of Kokutaku 868 Training RubberVALUE rubber. I love this rubber other than ONE thing; the red and black have VERY different sponge hardness. I put the sponge under my microscope and the black is much more porous than the red, but both are somewhat porous. Otherwise this is the best value rubber I have found. If you want a great practice rubber this is a great option, but not something I would recommend for tournaments. BEST value for a rubber you can actually play with!!

Review of KTL (LKT) Pro XTHaven't played with this rubber long, but this is what I have noticed thus far. This is a good rubber for the price, it has decent spin and control but not a lot of speed (which can be good for new players). It might be a decent rubber for a newer player who doesn't want to spend much. I will update later.

Review of Palio CJ8000 41-45°This on is hard for me to rate, but I will try to give my input. This rubber does not work well for me at all not even for messing around. I tend to use a lot of "brush" on the ball and I find this rubber terrible for that, but I know a couple blocker/counter-hit players who just tested my rubber and it worked alright for them, but not great. My son who is not very experienced yet tried it and it did not work well for him either.

Review of Palio AmigoFun to play with cheap rubbers when you want to just goof off and that is what I have done with this rubber. I actually quite liked it, but it wore out and died VERY quickly.I also have concern about consistncy of its quality or maybe I got an "odd ball" but mine was very tacky and I see others say it is not tacky at all.
I liked this rubber alot, but since it just wore out so quickly I won't likely try it again.

Review of Palio CJ8000 36-38°Haven't had this rubber long, so I will update more later on. I use this rubber for playing around for fun, not for more serious playing. So far it is decent ruber with fair balance. I like it a LOT more than the cj 8000 hard sponge.
