Adidas P3

Review of Adidas P3I have tried this rubber on xiom zetro quad for backhand. It completely qualifies as one of the best backhand rubbers ever. Though it is not very tacky, but grip is 100 %. This helps a lot in backhand off the table loops, over the table banana flicks. Less tackiness and medium-low throw help a lot in stable blocking and coutering. Though the sponge is medium-soft, but it does not give a mushy feel. It is springy rubber like T64 and lots of control.Apr 01, 2014

Nittaku Fastarc G-1

Review of Nittaku Fastarc G-1The best forehand rubber I have tried out of the following : rasant powergrip , rasant, tibhar aurus, yasaka rising dragon, xiom omega 4 pro, xiom omega 5 tour, tibhar 1qxd, h3neo, skyline tg2 neofastarc G1 incorporates the best qualities of the above rubbers : 1. tackiness like 1qxd (this helps a lot over the table short game, server receives, pushes, lifting underspin balls in a controlled manner without overshooting edge of table, sidespin-hook topspins) 2. spin/grip like rasant power grip (provides great spin when brushing looping as well as when you engage the sponge in close/mid/far distance game) 3. med-hard sponge like aurus (not too hard, but not also medium like rasant... this allows you to start engaging the sponge relatively closer to the table, without fear of ball overshooting due to high throw of rubber, or ball rushing to the net due to med-low throw...... the med-hard sponge also ensure adequate power from all usual playing distances) 4. med-high throw angle like rasant (helps in clearing the net easliy from close/mid .... ) 5. blocking is also good like xiom rubbers .. no issue in this aspect from the look, feel, and daily playing experience, it seems pretty durable as well !! Totally satisfied !! Highly recommended !! I m using it as FH on DHS long 5 blade, with tibhar 5Q+(power update) on BH. Great combination. Oct 30, 2015

Tibhar 1Q XD

Review of Tibhar 1Q XDI play this rubber on FH on a joola fever blade (copy of michael maze i.e hard but flexible).!! Amazing Rubber !! 1. Excellent for opening loops even on heavy under-spin balls 2. with a side-spin shot, you can also reverse the spin on the incoming ball. 3. flicking is a breeze even with a very casual shot 4. very good powerfull topspin/drive. It has a sort of amazing punch when you involve the sponge from close/medium/far distances. 5. Even the inside-out topspins from far backhand corner across the diagonal that use a combo of topsheet-spin and punch from the sponge are excellent. 6. Its also very easy to play controlled down the line shots against incoming server from the diagonal due to the spin and grip of the rubber. 6. Pushes are very spinny as the topsheet is grippy. 5. blocking is a also very good despite its spin capabilities !! After experimenting with a lot of rubbers for FH (Evo-MXP, 1Q, bluefire m2, vega pro, rakza 7, coppa gold etc.), I have come to conclude that 1Q-XD has it all. Recommend it for players that love to continuoulsy attack with FH , right from opening the loop, drive, topspin-topspin exchanges etc. Jul 09, 2013

Tibhar 5Q

Review of Tibhar 5Qcurrently using it on donic back devil balsa carbon blade for Forehand. This rubber is pairing up very well with this stiff blade. you can really play amazing topspins, lifting the ball from under the table. over the table topspins/flicks very good. Once can easily cancel any sort of spin from the opponent and change the direction of the ball. counter topspins, loop kills working very well. Serves generate high spin. A very important feature of this rubber is that the arc is not very long, hence most of the shots always tend to land on the table. Also, it is very very durable. Highly recommend it for a hard siff blade as it has a medium sponge and hence pairs up well as a forehand rubber.Jul 24, 2014

Tibhar 5Q Update

Review of Tibhar 5Q Updatewhat a backhand rubber this is !!! highly impressed !! grip, tackiness is gooood !!medium sponge allows a lot of control in topspins from over the table ..... pushes are excellent even at extreme angles ... not very sensitive to incoming spin and hence good at blocking (unlike its predecessor 5Q which was very reactive to incoming spin) .... can play powerful BH topspins even from mid-far distance..... overall, the best BH rubber I have played so far !! Tibhar Genius

Review of Tibhar Geniususing it in 2.0 sponge on both backhand and forehand on a stag balsa carbon fast blade, and I must say this is one of the best controlled offensive rubbers I have ever played with. Good Speed, Good spin and excellent control. Not very sensitive to incoming spin and hence blocks brilliantly. Counter topspin or topspin kill shots are also very easy with this. Medium throw angle keeps the ball from shooting long even on aggressive shots .. totally satisfied on both BH/FH. I also have a carbonado 145 blade and this rubber should also work wonderfully well on that blade as well !!Aug 31, 2016

TSP Ventus Speed
|
||
Review of TSP Ventus Speedexcellent rubber !! using it for both forehand and backhand on a yinhe t-11+ blade (stiff, med-low throw blade).due to its non-tacky surface, control in blocking is extremely good. The throw angle is medium-high, giving enough room to play over the table strokes with confidence. Though the rubber is non tacky, but it does have good grip for brush loops. A big advantage of this rubber is that no-spin/dead balls from the opponent during serves are very easy to handle, and you easily flick them over table. A point to take care of is when you are brush looping close to the table from below the table..since the rubber is non-tacky and does not hold the ball much, a hard loop might overshoot the ball. So, one needs to trust the grip of the rubber and engage the sponge, and do a medium loop clsoe to the table from below the table Mar 19, 2017
