Ventus Speed is the hardest and fastest variant of the TSP Ventus series. When designing this offensive rubber, the Japanese rubber experts focused on perfect balance between high speed, maximum spin development and great control. The open-pore 45° sponge of Ventus Speed features the new “Optimized Rotation Concept” and is truly made for spin. Thanks the new sponge design, this new TSP development guarantees longer ball contact which results in more rotational energy transfer on the ball. In addition, the higher trajectory resulting from the “Optimized Rotation Concept” provides for great feel and more control in your play. The fast performance top rubber sheet of Ventus Speed develops tons of power and tremendous drive both for aggressive opening loops and mid-distance topspin attacks. Ventus Speed is a highly balanced offensive rubber offering great value for money.

Excellent rubber, has great Speed, and offers good spin and Control. Has a medium throw angle, and has medium hardness. It is a great overall Rubber, for me It best suits the backhand.

excellent rubber !! using it for both forehand and backhand on a yinhe t-11+ blade (stiff, med-low throw blade). due to its non-tacky surface, control in blocking is extremely good. The throw angle is medium-high, giving enough room to play over the table strokes with confidence. Though the rubber is non tacky, but it does have good grip for brush loops. A big advantage of this rubber is that no-spin/dead balls from the opponent during serves are very easy to handle, and you easily flick them over table. A point to take care of is when you are brush looping close to the table from below the table..since the rubber is non-tacky and does not hold the ball much, a hard loop might overshoot the ball. So, one needs to trust the grip of the rubber and engage the sponge, and do a medium loop clsoe to the table from below the table

I have been using this rubber, in 1,8 mm thickness, for 2 years now and have tried it on various OFF blades. Facts: My packed (as “light” as possible!!!) rubbers weighed between 96 and 98 g. Strangely enough, each still weighed 66g. uncut. - ??? - :-O For a 160 x 152 mm blade, the rubber weighs 47 g. and at 157 x 150mm it weighs 45g. !!! Its sponge hardness is 45 and the overall hardness is 49.3 (...according to “Spin and Speed”!!!) Conclusion: This rubber is one of the best “BH rubbers” on the market. Whether directly at the table or slightly behind it, you always feel extremely good control. My balls (even if I continue to play them "passively" behind the table) get a nice length and still reach their target. Fortunately, this rubber is still produced by VICTAS and is now sold under the name Victas Ventus pen!!! THANK YOU, Victas. Addendum: in my opinion the overall rating (in the table) for the speed of this rubber is exaggerated!!!

Speed is certainly what you get with this rubber. Using it on FH of Yasaka Goiabao 5 and enjoying the power! I wanted more from my rubbers as I have used non-tensor European and Chinese tacky and this has not disappointed. Not so good control on pushes, but I'm not bothered too much as I like to attack nice and early and this is great for that!

I've been using this rubber Since Jun'2015. It's perfect for my game. Very very fast and very good throw angle. I am using Btrfly M.Maze ALC with TSP Ventus Speed for FH and TSP Ventus Soft for BH. This is a low hard sponge and completely non tacky. I used to play with Mark V before this. Its completely better that Mark V. Ventus responses less to incoming speed. Very good for loops, good for chops, perfect for topspin, easy to loop backspin balls from below the table. I use full swing for loop and topspin. So, ball goes high angle and lands perfectly on the table. It's good for topspin with side spin. This is my main weapon. when playing touches it keeps the ball low. This rubber nearly lost 30% capacity in 4 months. High quality rubber. I play nearly 3-4 hours in a day, 4 days in a week. So, fully satisfied with this rubber's performance. :)
