Andro Hexer+

Review of Andro Hexer+This is the rubber that you must love! It's very fast, but from the other side it's nice for blocks&chops, and for looping as well?!This is a bit confusing isn't it? Top sheet of the rubber is great for chops, serves and loops, but if you try with smashes and strong hits, and ball goes into sponge, you will gain incredible speed. I must agree that it can be hard to control during looping, it's easy to throw off the table, but for rallies far from table it's very nice fast and precise. Lifting the ball from table is a bit hard for me with it, so I have TNRG 05 on other side, and variations of this two rubber during rally is very hard for opponent, and for me, throw angle is similar on these rubbers. DHS G888
Review of DHS G888This is a typical Chinese rubber, hard sponge and top sheet surface with a tacky rubber, as TTCP wrote. I've been using it for about 2 months, tested it and the first impression was that it has a lot of grip and tackiness, generating a lot of spin, which was a surprise, as hard sponge was completely dead and hard to feel the strokes in that condition. I order a pair for myself and boost it with parafine oil in two passes, maybe I should make 3 passes but...Sponge softens a little bit, but it is still hard and FH-only rubber for me, with amazing spin and blocks, smashes, chops and pushes, with great control! Flicks with this rubber are easy and precise, but slow, so you must plan each deployment carefully. Perfect for defense and all-round play style, but I enyoj playing with it, as I like looping and heavy spin stroke exchange...it is hard to control it far from table. I like it and I will purchase another pair...put it on off or off+ blade without hesitation. Additional note: after 2 months boosting effect with paraphine oil wanished, so it becomes dead, and need tuning... tackines is still there. Jul 01, 2024

Donic Bluefire M2

Review of Donic Bluefire M2Great rubber definitely, fast, spinny, and control is not among the main advantages, but nice. I like Tenergy 05, and I don't think it can be compared with BF M2, as playing style is different. M2 is amazing for heavy spins and looping, far from table, mid distance....but for chops might be a little hard to control, even on pushes you can notice how hard can be to push short ball just over the net. I like playing with it from time to time, or train looping and heavy spins, one of the best rubbers in that area (I didn't try BTY Hard rubber versions jet). I'm using it on TSP Euro off blade, maybe slower blade can improve control.Jun 24, 2024

Huieson Crazy Speed
Review of Huieson Crazy SpeedFirst of all have in mind that this is a 5$ rubber, so don't expect a miracle. I have tuned it with parafine oil in two pass, and my impression is that it performs as a lot of European classic rubbers up to 20-30$, how long it will be useful, we will see, I'm using it for 2 months so far, and I'm satisfied so far.For me after tuning, it is too bouncy for fh, so I'm using it on bh, it is very nice, if you are not forcing spin strokes, it will be perfect, but it might be a challenge to generate heavy spin with it (as with Bluefire, Tenergy, MX-S...). For trainings, blocks, smashes, serve ...just perfect. On off+ blade I have problems with heavy chops, for pushes it is perfect. All my marks refer to tuned rubber, which I will suggest to all players when not playing official tournaments, as you will boost the performance of cheap rubber, and increase training intensity, speed and spin of each rubber. I will definitely buy few more of them as they can be useful more than 10-15 months used rubbers Jun 24, 2024

Killerspin Fortissimo
Review of Killerspin FortissimoAmazing, and on some way specific rubber. Very fast, but also with nice control can be very tricky for opponent. It's very precise in smashing and for chops. Throw angle is low, requires practice&adjustment from player, but I prefer to put it on fast blade with as much control as possible. I played it on Joola K4, and it was great experience after I get used to the angles.Tenergy 05 is a bit spiny but also a bit slower, and comparing those two rubbers, Fortisimo is more delicate with side spins, and generates exactly what you want (requires good technique), while Tenergy 05 is more forgiving, but also fast and spiny. Fortissimo is very good rubber, that I would recommended to ALL round to Offensive players, without any doubt. Mar 26, 2015

Kokutaku 868 Blue Sponge
Review of Kokutaku 868 Blue SpongeClassic rubber from boosting/tuning period, that provides best performance tuned, so I have threat it twice with parafine oil, and usi it like this. Spoonge becomes a bit softer, providing more spin, and maybe a little more speed, but also improves control and feeling during rallies. Nice for blocks and chops, for pushing and defensive strokes, nice for flicks from fh and bh, but lack of speed must be extended with precise strokes, which is perfect for practice and training, also for all-round players. I wanted to test blue sponge on this rubber, but I'm not sure I choose the best model for that test, but the rubber itself is decent and very useful for certain skill development and practice.Jun 24, 2024

Loki RXTON I

Review of Loki RXTON INice top sheet quality and interesting sponge. This is not fast rubber, but speed can be improved by tuning. Spin is something that should be focused on, as it is really great, and this will be effective immediately on serves and during rallies. Nice for blocking, surface is sticky enough to help with serve receives (we will see for how long), and so far looks like a perfect choice for flicks and transitions. Control is nice, it compensates lack of speed, and this rubber will provide a lot of fun during play. I'm using Black rubber on Yinhe V14 Pro, boosted with mineral oil, and will keep if for some time like that.Jul 10, 2025

Reactor Tornado V5
Review of Reactor Tornado V5Interesting rubber, with a medium tacky surface, and interesting sponge, which reminds me of European ones. For light strokes rally on topsheet, with nice control, for pushes and medium chops it is very precise, and react nice on incoming spin. For harder strokes and havy spins and chops, sponge activate and produce average catapult effect, that is interesting and nice during rallies. Recently, compared to bty Rosena generates about 85% of the spin, but also 10% slower, as my free impression (tested on the same blade both). Considering its price, I would recommend it to everybody, give it a chance, you might be pleasantly surprised.Jun 06, 2025

Tibhar Evolution FX-P
Review of Tibhar Evolution FX-PIf you enjoy in looping and heavy spins, this is one of the best rubbers from my experience. Somehow it is not so popular beside faster and a bit spinner MX-P version, but this rubber can do so many things better, regarding all-round style. My impression is that rubber itself is much more forgiving than competitors, and it was on my main racket for a long time. Still I like to play with it against allround or defensive players, combined with Tibhar Aurus on fh.Jun 24, 2024

Tibhar Aurus

Review of Tibhar AurusAs someone alredy wrote, this is typical "DO IT ALL" rubber, that you must like,on medium skills level, advanced....jut so fun and efficient playing with it.It is spinny, but not so nice for heavy spins, and also for heavy chops, but it will do the job. Pushes, smashes, from table and mid distance is great, fast blocks....alows you to take over control in most of the points during the match. Jun 07, 2025

Yasaka Mark V GPS Soft
Review of Yasaka Mark V GPS SoftOne of the rubbers that was the most popular for OFF players before tensor rubbers appeared, as it has everything for ALL, ALL+, OFF- AND OFF players. Fast enough with great spin and control, with an amazing soft sponge that is consistent for a long time and performs great. I suppose something like the tuning effect is a factory state of this rubber, it is just amazing, even after years it is still competitive.I'm using it on bh side on JOOLA Viking blade and it is perfect for ALL+ playing style, perfect for transition and flicks, also on fh, but I personally like harder sponge on fh side. This rubber is something that I define as "must try" category for each TT player, if you get a chance to try it, don't miss it. Jun 24, 2024
