Review of Butterfly RozenaI am an pretty good armature player. I used Xiom Omega 3 and 4 Euro for few years. I liked the soft gripy top sheet that let me generate spin easily. Can't say the same thing with Rozena. It's top sheet is harder. I need to impart more pressure to make the ball sink into the top sheet. Since it is tensor top sheet, the ball is repelled quickly hence the dwell time is less than what I would like. Control is also less than Xiom rubber. Review of Butterfly Glayzer 09CGlued two sheets max on Fan Zhendong ALC. Minimum catapult. I can use tacky top sheet alone to pull a thin topspin loop or engage the sponge to shoot out a fast and spiny ball. Blocking and pushing is effortless. My backhand punch is even faster. Smashing is fun. I can loop or drive underspin easier than before. I don't worry about control anymore.Update: Got a chance to practice with a chopper. This rubber shines. I just have to swing fast to brush the ball and the return is so top spiny. Slow loop is easier to execute. The rubber is not too sensitive to incoming underspin. It was a blast. Update: I must say this rubber is unique. I have tried new techniques and found out it is really versatile. It is not sensitive to incoming spin when I hit the ball like catching it which leads to more ways to attack. Now I have more weapons at my disposal. So don't give up on it if you feel like it is not the right rubber at the beginning. If you find out how to play with it, it will help you gain more confidence. Update: I am learning to engaging the sponge by using the thumb (backhand) or index finger (forehand) to press the paddle upon ball contact. I could feel the ball digging into the rubber even more and my loop get even more spiny and faster. So far after 6 months, the rubber still plays like new. To clean the rubber, I remove all the dust on it with butterfly rubber cleaner followed by rinsing with distilled water before covering it with sticky protection sheets. Review of Tibhar Hybrid MKPut it on Innerforce Layer ALC 24 hours ago and did some practice. Switching from Barracuda, it took a few minutes to get used to it. The whole set up is lighter now which lessens the pressure on my forearm muscles. I think it needs some time to break in. Now I can do short return like never before. Very insensitive to incoming spin. Practice with chopper is easier now. I can take my time to execute a good topspin. I can even attack the chop like never before. Will update later.Second session. Was hoping to practice basic technique. Playing with the long pimp chopping guy most of the time again. But this time it was different. The rubber is totally broken in. Feel like normal rubber but less bouncy. I could lift the chop so easily like I was born with this skill. Top sheet gripped the ball so well. Short return was even shorter than last time. Felt like I used less effort but the top spin actual increased. That guy was amazed. Backhand loop had better control. I could block return long or short. I was able to smash the ball a few times at much higher speed than ever before with small backhand movement. The ball landed 2 feet from the bottom which meant there was plenty of top spin. Review of Xiom Omega IV EuroI have 2mm on my Xiom Hayabusa ZX, both side. At first it seemed to catapult a lot. I could not keep it on the rubber for enough time. After breaking in period is over, the fun began. Great feeling. Very forgiving. I can compress the sponge hard and produce loud sound. Smash, loop drive, push, block and drop shots are all very easy.
