Review of Andro Rasanter R48Fits very well for my reverse penhold backhand. Quite fast, but very nice control. Medium-high arc and it loops very nicely. Very good rubber to counter backspin. Used on my Xiom feel Zx2 with Dignics 09c on forehand.

Review of Butterfly Glayzer 09C?As a returning player transitioning to a shakehand grip, my main goal is to build a consistent, spin-focused game. I paired the Glayzer 09C (2.1mm) with a Joola Proline AW5, an all-wood blade, to force myself to develop proper technique. The result was genuinely surprising. The G09C is perhaps the most intuitive and comfortable modern rubber I've used.
?While marketed as a hybrid, its feeling is much more elastic and forgiving than its peers. The slightly tacky topsheet makes generating heavy spin on serves and slow loops effortless, but it's the rubber's control and medium-high arc that truly define it. It provides an incredible safety net, encouraging you to commit to your strokes without the fear of a punishing, overly fast response. It absorbs pace well on blocks and has more than enough speed when you engage the sponge fully. I even tested it on my backhand and found the comfortable, confidence-inspiring feel to be an immediate fit. For any intermediate player, or those who value spin and control over raw speed, the G09C is an exceptional tool for development.

Review of Xiom Vega Pro Hybrid?I tested the Vega Pro Hybrid (Max thickness) on my backhand, mounted on a Ma Lin Soft Carbon blade. My experience with this rubber was a lesson in how specs don't always tell the full story. While rated at 47.5°, its on-table feeling is distinctly harder, crisper, and more direct than other rubbers in this category. Where a rubber like Glayzer 09C feels elastic and forgiving, the Vega Pro Hybrid has a much drier, almost "brick-like" feel, providing a very linear and powerful response.
?Its standout feature is its phenomenal ability to lift heavy backspin. The high-friction topsheet bites the ball with incredible authority, producing a fast, penetrating opening loop with a medium-low trajectory. However, this directness requires precision and was quite demanding on my still-developing shakehand backhand. While I admired its power, I found its lack of elasticity less comfortable for all-around play. I would recommend the Vega Pro Hybrid to aggressive players who prefer a very direct and crisp feeling, and whose primary strategy revolves around a powerful first attack against backspin.

Review of Yasaka Rakza ZEven though it’s rated 50°, the Rakza Z doesn’t feel like a brick. Contact is firm but still comfortable. The topsheet has a light tack that really helps to grab the ball. The focus here is crystal clear: spin and control. Opening against backspin feels safe, with the ball lifting nicely and dropping heavy. In counter-topspin, the rubber grips well and keeps the ball on the table without throwing surprises. Short game stays clean and predictable since there’s not much catapult messing things up. Speed-wise, it’s not a rocket. Definitely slower than Glayzer 09C in my experience. You put in the effort, it gives you the power back. Nothing free. There’s a catch: the sponge is a bit sensitive. If you re-glue often, you’ll want to handle it carefully, because it can damage easily during removal. Also, it’s on the heavier side.
