Butterfly Tenergy 05

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05As directly below, I was sold from the first hit, and bought the rubber immidiately after a couple minutes of playing.Tenergy has also made realize that there are no "best" rubbers," but rather rubbers that suite your style and stroke. The Tibhar Evolution MXP that I used on FH before made my game hard to control and inconsistent. It is probably every bit as good as Tenergy, but not for me. I am an agressive all round attacker/opening looper at mid distance from the table, and am tall and fairly strong. The medium speed is ideal for my strength and already very fast Xiom Hayabusha. The great spin of Tenergy make it ideal for my playing style (as well as cutting and serving). The soft, light, catipult feel of the rubber hitting the ball feels good for my stroke. So, considering the wealth of my other reviews, I don't think I need to add any more. It's a top quality rubber and perfect for me. May 01, 2013

Tibhar Evolution MX-P

Review of Tibhar Evolution MX-PHave been using this rubber for 3 weeks, 6 days per week, on my FH. It took a good week to fully adjust and get used to the play of this rubber. It is very fast and fairly hard, with a very good amount of spin at full strokes. Short strokes produce a lot of speed and pretty good spin as well. Looping is absolutely fantastic, though for opening loops other rubbers are probably a bit better for spin. Cutting and blocking are both excellent as this rubber is not very sensitive to opponents spin. Flicking is also fantastic due to the speed of the rubber with very little effort. The overall control of this rubber is pretty good (I gave 9.1), but I have not used a rubber with better control considering the speed and spin of this rubber. Overall I think this is a great rubber, one which I will be keeping, and is perfect for mid/at the table distance all round attackers, Apr 04, 2013

Review of Xiom Omega 2 AsianAgree entirely with Glenn and gekogark. Speed is fabulous, and spin has room for improvement. The ok spin and high speed make it difficult to control (especially when cutting in my opinion). As said, great for smashers and attacks. I use with Xiom Hayabusa Zxi. Feb 22, 2013

Xiom Sigma 1 Euro

Review of Xiom Sigma 1 EuroThe speed is very good and, barring speed junkies, should be more than enough: as is the rubber is about as fast as it can be without compromising control. I find it much easier and more effective to stroke and than many other rubbers I have used. The spin is also very good. Loops are easy and provide good spin. Smashing I think is where this rubber shines. Flicks are equally effective and very quick as this rubber is a tad "bouncy" in my opinion. The spin provided - as well as this rubbers ability to ignore the opponent's spin - by pushes is great, though at first was a bit hard to control. And despight having a bit of bounce I have no problem putting a light touch on balls to drop them just over the net. Blocking is really fantastic too as it propells the ball back quickly and absorbs a good deal of the spin. Gears are "above average" in my opinion, as I have played with several other rubbers that are better in this department. I also think that coupling with a medium stiff blade would be a good idea to lend to the control and spin. Using it on my hard blade has, for me, been a bit detrimental for my ability to get full use out of the rubber I think. Overall a truly fantastic rubber for BH I HIGHLY recommend this rubber to any all round offensive player. For aggressive attackers or aggressive loopers- depending on your playing style- I think there are more specialized rubbers out there. That being said, this rubber does everything very well.
