Review of Andro NUZN 48[Comparing to Rakza 7 on FH, JM SZLC] Very spin sensitive, noticeable difference in blocking/counterlooping heavy topspin. Higher throw angle and spin output makes it much easier to loop backspin than Rakza 7, often meaning loops are much quicker (can focus more on hitting ball forward rather than brushing up). The 48 degree sponge helps a lot with generating more spin on serve. Receive game was ok, requires you to read spin well and have good feeling to use effectively. Personally I wouldn't pay full RRP for this rubber, but I would definitely recommend it if on offer (TableTennis11 has had it for under £30!). Soft-ish sponge means that there is not much control compared to harder rubbers, and it maxes out when trying to hit the ball hard.

Review of Butterfly Dignics 09CPersonally I did not like Dignics 09C but I definitely see the appeal. It has a very high throw angle and isn't the quickest rubber which is not my style at all (I use T05H on BH and Zyre on FH).

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05 HardCompletely unique rubber - medium high throw angle and high speed means every shot feels like a bullet, but you can still loop and get a high arc if you get a good brush. Isn't incredible for serves as it has a short dwell time. I use for my backhand and my backhand open ups/flicks have become the best part of my game due to this rubber. Be careful when pushing as it is very brittle so will break easily if you hit the table. Rubber wears out quickly so very easy to go through a sheet every 4 months. It is one of my favourite rubbers of all time, but I don't recommend it unless you have the money to keep replacing it and the technique and control to use it (especially with a carbon blade).

Review of Butterfly Zyre 03This rubber is a game changer - every forehand seems to just go on as you imagine it. Its max speed is incredible, but it still has incredible control. The only problem I have had with it is not getting a clean contact when doing a reverse pendulum serve - this is probably because I learnt this serve using Tenergy 05 Hard where every ball flies off the rubber more. Everything else feels perfect!
EDIT: After using it for a few weeks, the rubber feels far different than when it started: throw angle has gotten lower, less spin, less control etc. Some of it might be the fact that I might not be good enough yet to use it on a SZLC blade, but nevertheless I am now considering changing it as it has negatively affected my playing. Overall I don't think Zyre justifies the £90 price tag - Dignics 05 and Tenergy 05H both feel a lot better to me.

Review of Donic BlueGrip J2Have been using on BH with JM SZLC and it has been very good so far. Very consistent, spinny loops and great control. Not the quickest rubber (tenergy 05 hard, etc) but makes up for it in consistency.
EDIT: I have since moved this to my forehand and it is great - very safe and consistent when counter-looping from away from the table, great control and touch, etc.

Review of Dr. Neubauer ABS 2 EvoI normally play inverted on both sides, but wanted to give anti a go on my spare bat (Butterfly Zhang Jike ALC). I got the 2.1 mm version. Great spin reversal, and has great attacking opportunities - can attack long backspin balls (very difficult for opponent to return). I do find it quite hard to return fast topspins (not much dampening), but that is most likely my lack of experience using anti.

Review of Yasaka Rakza 7I use on FH on JM SZLC. Very controlled and safe - nothing spectacular but very good for getting the ball on the table. Personally I wouldn’t use on a slower blade due to lack of speed, but very comfortable with a quicker carbon blade. Overall very good rubber for intermediate players looking to improve their touch and technique
