Butterfly TENERGY 05 is recommended for playing close to the table;

Butterfly TENERGY 64 is for the attacker who plays for the offensive play in a middle distance.

I bought this rubber as a replacement for the Dignics 05 I've used on my backhand. I must say, it changed the game for me a lot. Having tried a lot of backhand rubbers, I've decided to stick with this one. I first tried it in 1.9 mm on a Stiga Cybershape Wood, and I'm now using it in 2.1 mm on a Butterfly innerforce ULC. Where I like this rubber the most is in the blocking and punching area. Since it is less sensitive to spin, you can very easily control incoming spin and counter punch fairly easy on spinny balls. Even my chop blocks are fairly consistent with this rubber. I have tried it on my forehand side, but here it was too fast and has a too low trajectory for me. I like playing with a bit of a slower rubber on my forehand since I always play a very hard and fast stroke and I couldn't really adjust to this rubber. For backhand, this rubber is absolutely great. Since it is fast, you don't have to put in a lot of effort to play the topspin strokes. If you haven't used this rubber yet and are afraid that it is too fast, try it in 1.9 mm. It is a subtle difference in terms of speed, but it is a bit more controllable.

Extremely fast, but the minimal spin and softness of the sponge makes it extremely easy to control topspin loops. Attacks close to the table and away from the table are also fairly easy. The reason I wouldn't recommend this rubber is that (for FH) it is somewhat sensitive to spin and has a spring sponge; thus, it is hard to have a strong short game. Also, this rubber is not strong for chopping. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK! I recommend T80 if you're looking for short game without losing anything. T64 is perfect for blocking and counterattacking and makes a fantastic FH and BH rubber as long as it fits your playing style!

It has a nice feel to it. Great speed, spin and control for such a fast rubber.I prefer Tenergy 05 but if you want more dwelltime and a little bit more controlable game, choose this one instead. I like it on a Stiga Clipper or Donic Lagonda blade.

Coming from a tenergy 80, the speed and throw angle appalled me. I expected this rubber to only be fast in the short game but I was surprised at how fast and direct it was from a distance too! Using it on my BH 2.1 mm on a Harimoto innerforce Zlc btw. Compared to other tenergy rubbers, t64 has to be the ugly duckling in terms of spin. The aim of this rubber is fast, direct shots to catch your opponents off guard to win points, not spin. Deep table backhand fake no spin services are great with this rubber, my opponent can’t react! If you are weak and need a tensor rubber for producing fast direct shots from longer distances on your FH, this is for you. For FH it excels in third ball attack, fast pendulum serve, fast down the line serves, and fast hook serves. Hope you guys get to know this rubber more from this review and keep on ponging! Update: horrible durability, the top sheet got obliterated within 3 months, apparently not worth the price for the durability, but for the quality 10/10.

When I first got the Tenergy 64, I wasn't very impressed with it. It replaced my previous Acuda S1 and the T64 seemed so much slower. However, as the weeks went buy, I gradually warmed up to this rubber, and now am quite happy with it. It is much spinnier than Acuda S1 IMO, and has a higher throw angle, easier for opening up. However, Acuda S1 wins in speed, and control is about the same. Quite a good, spinny rubber. Fairly good durability, hasn't lost it's shine even after 50+ hours of training. Overall, good rubber, works well on both FH and BH. Okay speed, good spin, good control. Nothing wrong with this rubber.
