High-sticky rubber + high-elasticity sponge
The rubber featuring both speed and control, matched with the new #80 high-elasticity sponge. It can provide solid hand feel in short run-in period. The excellent speed an precise control have maintained unique performance of the stickiness and spins of Hurricane series.
Hurricane H8-80, lighter and more elastic, is suitable for forehand and backhand use.
Designed for 40+ ball.

I'm using as a backhand red rubber for DHS PG5X. Has a decent control, not so fast, not so slow and not so sensitive. I was able to return awkward ball rotations. The price is also decent and yet i need to see its durability. Overall I liked it.

I got the 38 degrees version in my forehand on a fast 5 ply all wood blade, Stiga Maplewood Nct V. I have always been playing with hard tacky rubbers in my forehand, mostly H3 Neo and Sanwei Target National. It is softer than Hurricane 8, 3, 3 Neo. The sponge is not like a tensor rubber but it's not dead either. I have tried many so-called, hybrid rubbers, but they all seemed closer to tensor rubbers rather than Chinese rubbers. H8-80 is a hybrid closer to hard rubbers, just up a notch faster than a typical Chinese rubber. It maintains all the other characteristics of a Chinese rubber, excellent short game, spiny loops, spiny serves. Just 10% faster. But that's enough to make my life a lot easier when opening up and countering. It is easier to increase the dwell time. Even flat hits or smashing are possible and a lot easier compared to H3 Neo. The fans of DHS forehand rubbers should definitely give it a try. I think it is the best DHS rubber so far.

There are 2 Hurricane 8-80 here at Revspin, I wrote my feedback at the other.

Pretty nice backhand rubber. It's not really made for speed, but its more of a control/spin bh type rubber. The extra tack and grip really helps on bh loops and spin shots. Speed is pretty low out of box, but is pretty good speed with booster. For me, the extra grip is really worth it, despite the slightly lower speed.
