my first rubber after restarting the game with a pause of 24 years. It is a very soft and quite lightweight rubber in different colours available. I used the green one for 9 months intense play in autumn, winter and spring outdoors in Switzerland on fh. Then the rubber was gone. It is a quite slow rubber, what helped me to learn the complete FH stroke movement with the involvement of legs, hips body and arm. A good beginner rubber, maybe even better on bh, because you have good control.

Attention: This rubber has currently No ITTF authorization !!!! ... but is available in 5 different colours. (- only not in red, or black!) Facts: my (light) selected rubber weighs packed 97 g. and uncut with protection film 57 g. On my son“s WHIZZ Cybershape 143 only 41 g. !!! ( - almost a lightweight.) The unsticky, yellow upper rubber is very, very soft and the almost non-porous light yellow sponge is not necessarily 40 degrees either. - he is rather softer! The speed and the catapult effect are in the mid-range. The spin development is ok. Comparation: OCTOPUS has round about the same speed like a Palio CJ 8000 (36-38 degree version / alias CJ 8000 Spin) with 2,2 mm, but generates more spin !!!
