Great rubber on stiffer blade. Great control and good speed if you make loop or smash. Rubber surface is thin and soft, sponge is bit harder. Rubber surface reminds markV. Looping backspin is easy compared if you play with harder rubbers. Played only one time and can't say much about durability, but as most chinese should be fine durability. Putted on allround blade with weight 82 grams and rubbers 2.2 on both sides. Total weight now is 182. In www found that uncut weight is 57 g. I thought it will be around ~ 160, but it is ok. Quite satisfied overall, and for that price - wonderfull. Edit: Cut weight ~ 50 grams. For instance Rapid speed is 44 grams. Both 2.2 Played in tournament - backspin looping is pleasure only blocking topspins is diferent compared to rapid speed. But that is just a training and will be fine. Speed is ok and chopping also. This is my rubber choice for now. Edit: Sponge hardness is medium 4.5-5 if compare to acuda s2,s3 xiom sigma. Actually hardness is close to s2 and xiom sigma europe. Surface is more grippy compared to s2,s3,sigma. Edit: Defensive play is not the best with this rubber, chopping sometimes goes into net or over table. Opening loops is ok, ball nicelly catches in and lands where planned. Rubber characteristics are quite affected what blade are in use. I use those rubbers on allround blade (galaxy y-4). Edit: Red one seems has lost its properties after 4 months. Black for backhand is still okay. During play red on fh is used more and maybe has worned out, but black is ok and throw is higher. Olive oil made red sheet gripy again, but ball bounce decreased. Great for opening loops, but for fh quite weird on topspin to topspin. On bh - nice.

Even though Palio is a Chinese company they made this rubber to play as European style. It has about the same speed as Sriver L and more spin, now it is my favorite forehand rubber. It is perfect for beginners or control oriented players. It can be used on backhand for learning but I prefer faster rubbers on the back like AK 47 blue.

I found this to be an excellent allround rubber. I could execute loops, drives and chops were terrific. It shines over and close to the table. It is a prime choice as a BH rubber in my books.

Under rated rubber here I'd say. Comes vacuum packed. Played with 36 degree on backhand. Sponge Feels reasonable firm. Fairly reliable rubber, blocks and loops decently well. A little bit too reactive to spin and a bit too heavy for what you get. Perhaps better on forehand. But deserves to be one of the better budget options.

Rubber is ok for training, nothing more. Grippy top sheet, soft as all cj8000 mounted on softer sponge 36-38 (I think). Issues with quality control as with most cheaper Palio rubbers, but it is ok for training. One sheet can be tacky a bit, other one just pure grip, sheets can have marks on them and so on€¦ In terms of performance it is on a slow side, with ok amount of spin on it. Spin is actually very good on slow speeds but as you speed up it diminishes due to the weaker sponge, so on high speed FH relies you have to be a bit careful. Control is also on a higher side close to the table but far off, again due to the sponge softness, it is ok only. Like cj8000 Bioteck, Yasaka Zap and New Era, all made by Palio this rubber does not last long. After a first training, about 2 hours or so, multi ball hitting on a BH side where I did put this rubber there was a finger mark (shake hand grip, index finger). Recommendation: To all beginners honestly, as a good FH rubber to start off. It provides good feedback and ball is relatively easy to control. Main advantage of this rubber is the price where you can get 2x for about 12-15 bucks. Much better choice over Sriver and Mark if you are on a budget while maintaining similar performance and feel. Best of all and enjoy TT :).
