First, I have to disagree with GeralDINO and other reviewers on the hardness. This blade is QUITE SOFT. When I first played with it, I thought it really feels very mushy, but overtime you get more used to it. The outer layers are limba, which explains the softness. It is reasonably stiff though, but still a lot of flex to generate spin.
The speed is quite high, I think faster than VIS. Some of my shots were flying over the table at first. Because of the high speed, I do find it somewhat hard to control. Because of the inner carbon, the speed tends to show up on bigger loop-drives.
Overall for $12, you really can't complain. Its probably the best cost-performance blade in the world. Very fast but still with decent flex/spin and quite soft.
It is slightly lighter (79g) than my main blade Nittaku Factive Carbon FL (81g). It is also less stiff (more flex for spin/rotation) and much softer (think it should be about 5 rather than 6; better dwell time (feel) for FH looping with hard rubber Jupiter Asia 3 H40, will try out Battle 2 Gold / Battle 3 to compare before sharing), the carbon plus the fast rubber produce similar high speed to Nittaku Factive Carbon. May require some time getting used to it to control it from flying out of table (typical for most carbon blade, thus not recommended for beginners who would benefit more from slower blade that provides better control/feel/feedback). Might try a slower/classic hard rubber to improve control and chances of keeping the ball from flying out of table. This light blade allows choice of heavier modern rubber.
Just bought as alternative to my Palio blades. Model year '22 (that with Blue handle).
Very interesting Blade, seems stiff but Limba outer plies add more dwell time to generate spin. Handle colors resemble a Yasaka Ma Lin soft carbon Blade. Thanks to SANWEI, now we know exactly plies composition. They're limba-basswood-LD carbon-kiri-LD carbon-basswood-limba.
Excellent control, with large sweepspot, more than my previous R57 blade. Stable blocks. It weights 87gr.
This is definitely bang for the buck. it's an Off carbon for only $11! Tested it and it's very decent. Playable in tournaments. I attached a Tenergy 64, and it's really fast, even away from the table. Speed is comparable to BTY Viscaria, but without the Vibration. A bit heavy though at 93grams.
Price breaker!!! .. updated review. This blade has been available in a revised version for almost half a year. ...it now has a pretty white and blue handle!!! I purchased and reviewed them for the first time in 2021 and absolutely loved them. ... just like this time again! - however this time my blade has a slim FL handle and weighs 88 g. Apparently SANWEI has managed to maintain the quality of the CC. :-D ... great !!! My first blade of 2021 had a strong handle and weighed 85g. The club surface is (then and now) 157 x 150 mm. Despite the extremely low price, this blade is very well made. My old one, like my new one, is very stiff and hard and can be classified as an off/off+ blade. The sweet spot is an acceptable size. Unfortunately, this wood quickly becomes top-heavy with heavy coverings. Conclusion: incredible blade for this price!!! If the handle of the current model wasn't so slim (- ideal for small hands or children!!!), I would unreservedly recommend this blade. - insofar as an offensive style of play is preferred. Respect, Sanwei! Addendum: Beginners should definitely use this blade with soft rubbers.
