729 Battle max pro is specially developed for the 40+ big ball. This rubber surface has strong and lasting viscosity. The sponge adopts a unique formula design and internal energy pretreatment process to make the ball rotate more strongly and the two jump arc more aggressive. It is a professional table tennis rubber with good compatibility between control and arc.
First time use battle max pro from previously used battle ii provincial blue sponge on bty lin gaoyuan. speed slower than battle ii but with better spin. Control is under battle ii but verry good in aggresive counter game... have many gears, low throw angle, great for raise underspin ball with many spin. If u more like spin than speed go with pro max. Like these rubber from friendship. Good rubbers.
Perfect for allround players with allround blades and perfect for attackers with offensive blades. No really weakness of this rubber, need 2-3 training sessions to bring the most out from it.
Decent speed unboosted, but more speed with booster. Overall this rubber is pretty good for fh, and does a bit of everything you need. It is tacky, fairly hard 40d, good speed and good spin. The arc is slightly low-ish, but feels more normal arc than Battle 2. Because of the arc issues, I feel this rubber is better suited for limba-inner carbon blades.
Overall it is pretty comfortable and can do everything you need.
This is my favourite rubber to date right now. In my personal experience, BMP works very well on hard and stiff blades. It performs poorly on softer, flexible blade. Those blade are not able to bring out spin, speed and power on the BMP. So far, my experience with the rubber was excellent when I used Yinhe V-14pro and 729 Yellow ALC, and experience was poor when I paired BMP on my FangBo B2. I was even worried that my rubber was a counterfeit as it performed so differently when paired on V14 pro, but after paring it on a 729 yellow alc, I came to realised BMP only works on hard and stiff blade.
In terms of performance, it has excellent control and power, I feel more confident in counter loops and blocking. In the spin department, Battle 2 Pro/Hurricane does a better job. It's rubber is tacky upon opening, but loses the alot of tackiness after the first few sessions. However, it retain more tackiness after 6 months of playing as compared to a Battle 2 provincial. It is also very durable. I have accidentally hit the edge of the table countless of times, but the top sheet was totally undamaged.
Now I play this rubber in 41deg hardness on forehand on a Sanwei V5 PRO 7-ply wooden blade. The blade is quite hard so this works really good with the hard sponge. I can say that BMP is very tacky. Probably the most tacky hard rubber I ever tried, and the tack stays even after several training sessions. Really fast, quite low throw when brush looping and control is great in pushes, serves and short underspin strokes. The spin is insane, especially after it lost a little bit of tackiness, and I boosted it with one layer of Seamoon Booster, so perhaps that helps a little bit as well. Weight Uncut/Cut: 74g/55g
