Review of 61 Second Lightning DS LST2.0mm H38. Weight uncut: 55g. Weight cut: 41g. Very light weight. The same as TSP Ventus Soft 1.8mm and 729 Focus III Snipe H46. I'm replacing my TSP Ventus Soft 1.8mm on backhand with this rubber. The blade is a Yinhe MC-4 (Carbon). This is the tackiest rubber I have ever had. More than any Hurricane/Skyline etc... The feel of the sponge isn't that soft that I expected. Great spin and quite low throw. Not a speed monster at all, but it may have something to do with the tackiness and quite soft sponge. Backspin and backhand serves are more spinny now. This rubber is not bouncy at all. You have to perform the full stroke to do good top spins with this rubber. Blocking is good, but someway a bit inconsistent. It's not that forgiving as the TSP Ventus Soft. You have to hit the ball at the right time, with the right angle and put some power in your stroke to make it go in. Flat hits are very good. I don't know why, but my flat backhand hits goes in more often with this rubber. The tackiness after some 5-6 cleanings are about the same as H3N and lifts the ball for about one second now. I guess it makes the rubber a little bit easier to play with, when the tack goes away.

Review of 61 Second Lightning DS (Non-tacky)1.5mm, black, H36 on a 729 Z-1 Offensive wood blade. I've tried this on my backhand. This rubber with a little thinner sponge works nice on a faster blade like this. Nice control and quite easy to do topspin. Easy to do harder flat hits as well. Spin is quite good as well. a little like Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft. The good grip in the top sheet makes it, as said before, easy to topspin. (Update 200827) I have bought another copy of this rubber now. Black, 2.2mm, H36. At first it feels quite tacky. Almost like DHS H3 Neo. First feel when bouncing a ball is that it got some speed. I have glued this on a Yinhe MC-4 together with a Tuttle A55 Max. The 61s feels faster than the Tuttle. The thought was to have the Tuttle on forehand and 61s on backhand, but we'll see where it fits best this evening. The weight was surprising heavy for this rubber. Uncut: 62g and cut: 49g. My setup weight 190g and that feels quite heavy. We'll see how that works out as well... One thing I noteced is that the top sheet is the same on the Lightning DS (Non-tacky) and the DS LST. The DS LST is quite more tacky, but the top sheet number is the same on both (115-002).

Review of Andro Rasanter R37I tried this in black, 2.0mm sponge. Tested as backhand rubber on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade. I'm comparing this to the TSP Ventus Soft, 1,8mm (35deg). Just one session so far. Just bouncing the ball on R37 after gluing, is a quite nice feeling, trying to feel the spin and so. VS feels a bit more springy/bouncy and perhaps it answers a bit better when spinning the ball. Playing: Topspin feels a bit harder to do with R37 than VS. The ball doesn't dig into the R37 in the same way as VS. Less marigin for errors. The short game is perhaps a bit better than VS, because the bounciness in the VS. Blocking is where I think R37 really shines and countering play. If you play it passive, it's slow and if you play actively you can set quite good speed to the countering. Feels a little bit like the Tibhar Aurus Sound, but with a bit better grip.

Review of Andro Hexer Grip SFX1.9mm black on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade. Weight uncut 62g. Cut 45g. Earlier I have used TSP Ventus Soft 1.8mm and Andro Rasanter R37 2.0mm for my backhand. Now I decided that I should try this one. The slightly harder sponge (40deg) makes this rubber a bit faster than the two other, but for me, in a good way. The SFX is superior in blocking. Where the VS is a bit bouncy and the R37 is a bit dead, this one feels quite perfect in speed and throw. The throw is a tiny bit higher than the other two, and the higher speed makes it easier to set my opponent under a bit of pressure. At the same time I feel that the SFX makes it easier to place the ball where I want it, so the control is better. This rubber is also more grippy than the other two. Service and pushing feels nice and spinny. Topspin is also a little better, giving a little bit more catapult effect. Now I have used this for one session so far, but the sensation is that this is a better rubber for me, in every way. Flat hits are way better with this SFX rubber as well. I never had so many flat hits going in as with this one. I have had a couple of table impacts with this rubber, and it's a bit fragile I must say.

Review of Andro Rasanter R53OK. I tried this in Max on a Yinhe V-14 PRO blade. I'm coming from having used almost only Chinese rubbers like DHS H3N 41deg, Yinhe Moon Pro Hard, 729 Battle II Prov Gold etc on forehand. Now trying this one. It's totally non-tacky. What hit me is that it's easy to make very good spin even on slower strokes, short services etc. Of course it's a bit springier than the Chinese rubbers, but not really by that much that I thought it should be. Short game and pushes are really nice. Further away from the table the feeling of control is total. The top sheet is quite soft and that gives a very controllable feeling whatever you want to do. This is no speed demon, but quite fast though. I have used Stiga DNA H 2.1mm as well, and R53 is a bit like DNA when looping, but I think R53 is a nicer rubber than DNA regarding control and spin. The effect isn't direct like when looping with Chinese rubbers, and the ball digs in to the top sheet more. That gives you a longer dwell time and more control in all game aspects.

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3Super offensive rubber with great speed and spin. It works fine with both allround and offensive blades. I have tried red and black, 2.15mm and 2.20mm, H38, H39, H40 and H41 sponge. Testing has been made on different blades, but for me brush looping and often hits the ball further back and then from a lower place it's the 2.15mm H39 that has worked best. I need to put as much power as possible in my strikes and still get the arc that puts the ball on the table, that's why a thinner and softer sponge is better for me. I'm waiting for a couple of H37 and H38 for testing now. This rubber is lethal when used right. Weight cut 2.15mm H40: 53g. 2.2mm H39: 50g. 2.15mm H39: 47g. 2.1mm H38: 49g. 2.15mm, H41: 49g

Review of DHS NEO Skyline 3 TG3After using H3 Neo on an allround blade, I switched to this. Spin is about the same as H3 Neo but it's a bit slower and you gain more control with the Neo Skyline 3. Suits me fine looping a 1-2m behind the table. You just have to use some more power with this rubber. Over all, a very good rubber for the money. Weight cut, 2.15mm H39: 45g

Review of DHS NEO Skyline 2 TG2I'm using this Skyline NEO TG2 Red 2.15mm H39 on my forehand. I'm coming from using DHS Hurricane 3 & 2 NEO and Hurricane 8. This one is slower, but you still get that catapult effect when looping. Better control and similar spin as the Hurricane series. You have to put more effort in your strikes if you're at a distance from the table, to get over the net. Lifting the ball from low from a distance still often goes in the net for me. That was easier with H3/2 NEO and H8, when you didn't have to put so much effort in the strike. Very good chinese rubber for brush looping. And I think it's easier to block with this than the Hurricane 2/3 NEO rubbers. Now after about three months use, the rubber has detatched a little from the sponge in some parts. Very little, so it's absolute playable, but I haven't seen this phenomena in the other DHS rubbers I've used. Weight cut 2.15mm H39: 46-48g

Review of DHS Hurricane 8This is a rubber quite similar to DHS Hurricane NEO 2, but the speed isn't that high from the beginning. Like the DHSHN2 this rubber feels/sounds a little "stiff" when hitting flat, but that's no problem for me. At first the feel is that it's quite slow, but after a couple of training sessions it comes alive and I felt that the control is much better than the DHSHN2. Much easier to block and to push and chop from near and far from the table. Perhaps a little more spin in the loops than DHSHN2. This was the RED, MID hardness version.
(A couple of months later) Now I bought a couple of H8 2.2mm H40, and put one of them on my old Stiga Allround wood, but they felt totally different from the one I used earlier in the review. They were very bouncy, and the speed was too high to feel that you have good control. So on this old blade there was a huge difference between the rubbers.
I put the H8 2.2 H40 Black on a RITC 729 V6 blade, that theoretically should be a lot faster than my old Allround blade, and it all fell in place. Very strange, but now the H8 is much more nice and controllable, and with a well used H2NEO 2.15mm H39 on my backhand that feels quite soft and full of control, I have a new favourite bat. The H8 could be compared to a H3NEO 2.15 H39, but not as catapultic in the top spin/loop game and a bit more control. I may add that the first H8 at the top of the review wasn't so heavy, but the latter two I got was much more heavy. Weight cut 2.2mm H40: 50-55g. 2.15mm H39: 49-56g

Review of DHS Hurricane 2 (H2)This rubber is spinny with high speed, but I don't think the control is so good. The sponge is quite hard, so if you don't hit the ball the way you should, you don't get a good strike at all. Not forgiving at all. The NEO version feels a bit more flexible, as the ball digs into the sponge a bit creating some catapult effect that this rubber lacks. This is the black, "Standard" edition with 2.15mm sponge. Very good rubber for the money, but the NEO version gives better control and loops.

Review of DHS Tin Arc 3Right now I use this TA3 on my backhand. H 35, 2.0mm and black. I'm coming from using DHS Hurricane 8, H 39, 2.15mm, black. These rubbers are very different. The TA3 is much less spin sensitive, so it's a lot easier to return high spin serves and brush loops. It's very soft, so it's quite slow compared to the H8 (even if the H8 is a bit slow as well). TA3 doesn't "go" by itself. You'll have to work it good and make the full strokes to get the most out of it, otherwise the ball often goes in the net. Perhaps this is mainly the H 35 sponge being to slow and not so forgiving. On the other side, it's easy to block loops and place them well, and the pushing and short game is much easier to handle.
Now I've only played about 10 hours with my new setup, and if I have another feel in the future, I will change my review.

Update: Now I have tried the TA3 2.1mm H37 Red on my 729 V-6 blade. I't gives me a better feeling in my backhand. You don't have to put so much effort in your strikes to get the ball over the net. When I put it on forehand and test some brush loops, the feeling is good, but the ball always comes back. The spin and catapult effect isn't anything like Skyline/Hurricane NEO rubbers, so I will keep it on my backhand. Weight cut 2.1mm H37: 48-51g. 2.0mm H35: 46g

Review of DHS Hurricane 3-50This rubber made me a bit disappointed. It's a Hurricane 3 with a slow sponge. The sponge is nice on a non-sticky rubber like TinArc, but this combination does not work for me. Ok. The top sheet is a bit tacky, but when you don't get a kick from the sponge, there's no use for the tackiness. Too slow/dead for my backhand and no brush looping effect when used on forehand. Ok. It's easy to loop and hit the table, but in contrary compared to Hurricane 3 NEO, the ball almost always comes back. Weight cut, 2.1mm H37: 46g

Review of DHS Hurricane 3 (H3)I'm reviewing this in 2.15mm 41deg, and with three layers of Haifu Seamoon booster. The reason is that I have used this version before without booster and always felt that the H3N is a better choice. I glued it on a DHS Power G5X ALC blade and weight uncut is 68g, so cut would be around 49-50g. The boosting effect is really nice. Never thought that it would do that much. It now performs like a H3N, a little bit faster, a little bit softer and a little more deadlier. For a spin/brush oriented game, I haven't found anything better so far. I'm currently also trying out XIOM TAU II and DHS Hurricane 8, 2.15mm, 40deg. The TAU II has similar feeling as the H3 boosted, but with H3 you get that kick when brush looping. The Tau II is a bit tamer that way. The H8 comes quite close, but the feeling is harder and that doesn't give you the control you get from H3. To sum it up. Really good rubber in all ways, but it needs the booster to come alive.

Review of DHS Hurricane 8-80I glued this one in 38 deg on my backhand on my Yinhe V-14 PRO blade, after two layers of Haifu Seamoon booster. I'm coming from using Yinhe Big Dipper 38 deg (backhand), this one also boosted. The feel of these two rubbers are totally different. Big Dipper is much harder, even though the sponge should be the same hardness. 8-80 is really nice, giving really good backspin in the short game, and good control away from the table. Top spinning is quite easy, but not as much effect as BD, also more forgiving, so it suits me a bit better. This rubber doesn't play by itself, and it's a little bit dead compared to softer ESN rubbers, so before getting used to the way it play I hit the net a lot, especially from half distance. The "dead" feeling is good when defending, because it doesn't go long as much as my old BD did. For me, it's quite easy to place the ball where I want it, so it's a really fun rubber to play with. 24-054 is the same top sheet as the normal H8. Weight Package/Uncut/Cut: 92g/66g/51g. Not so light weight. About the same weight as the normal H8.

Review of Friendship/729 Cream TranscendI bought this rubber for my forehand to get a spinny, not too fast rubber for looping mostly. I was disappointed. It's much slower and less spinny than for example Friendship 729 Super-FX (wich is a pretty slow rubber). It's almost numb and very hard to play with. You have to put in a lot of effort when looping to even get it over the net. I don't know if I got a faulty one, but it sucks big time. Weight cut 2.2mm H42: 44g

Review of Friendship/729 Bloom SpeedI tried this on my forehand mainly for looping. Red 2.2mm H45. I'm coming from DHS Skyline TG2 NEO 2.15mm H39. Compared to my Skyline, it's a bit slow, about the same control. Tackiness is a little less and when I loop, there's not so much catapult effect as you get from Skyline/Hurricane NEO rubbers. The better part when looping, is that it's much easier to keep the ball on the table than with the faster DHS Hurricane NEO Rubbers. This is not a bad rubber at all, but for me it's a step down. The best thing with it is that it's quite light. I felt a big difference compared to the Skyline in weight. Weight cut 2.2mm H45: 44-46g

Review of Friendship/729 Focus 3 SnipeI got myself a sheet of this Focus III Snipe Black 2.1mm H42. The sponge is very soft in this the softest version of the rubber. Compared to a DHS TinArc 3 Black 2.0mm H35 that I used on my backhand before, it's a bit faster. Absolutely easier to topspin than the TA3. I'm still adjusting when it comes to chopping and pushing. The ball easily goes too high when pushing if you're not careful. It feels like it's more spin sensitive than the TA3. I have only used this one session as for now. 191231: Now I have used this in various hardness for half a year. It's soooo sweet. The blocking is good. Back spin serves works great, even though it's not that tacky. When doing backhand topspin, you have to do the full stroke. This is not a tensor rubber at all. Very linear, but quite springy sponge and soft top sheet. To all of you that wonder if it works for forehand. Yes of course. If you like looping in a very controlled manor, this is your rubber then. You won't get that catapult effect like the DHS Hurricane/Skyline NEO or Yinhe Big Dipper/Saturn/Apollo rubbers, but there is some great control. Use the hardness 44-46 for your forehand if you like a looping game. It's super for beginners as well. Many players in my club has switched to this from Stiga Boost TC, and like it a lot. I play about 8-10 hours a week, and I had to change my backhand sheet after four months. At last. It's very very light :) Weight cut H46: 41g. H44: 42-45g. H42: 39-44g

Review of Friendship/729 Presto SpinI initially bought this rubber (Black, 2.1mm, H44) for my backhand to compare to my 729 Focus III Snipe (Black, 2.1mm, H44). That was not a good idea. For me this is not a backhand rubber. The sponge is a bit harder than F3S, so the dwell time was not that long when doing top spins. I tried it on my forehand. That was a much nicer experience. When you hit flat, the speed is high, perhaps the "macroporous" sponge has something to do with that. Brush looping feels very nice. I'm coming from DHS Hurricane II/III NEO. It's not that catapult effect like the Hurricanes, but the ball kind of sinks in a bit into the sponge (Like when looping with DHS TinArc3), and gives good spin and for a while it felt like it's impossible to miss a loop with this rubber. Review of Friendship/729 Battle II Provincial (Battle 2 Provincial)Tried this in 40 deg, red on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade. Comparing to H3N 41 deg, 2.15mm. Very domed when unboxed. I think that this is the rubber that has come closest to my H3N in all ways. The sponge really seems a bit softer than the H3N, so I feel that flatter hits benefit from this, making them more controlled. The speed when brush looping is a tad slower, but in return you feel a bit more control when looping. Short game is good, and easier to spin the ball than H3N. Really nice rubber over all. Tackiness is a bit more than H3N. Weight uncut: 71g and cut: 53g, so a bit on the heavy side. ***Update*** I used this this weekend in a competition, and it works really fine. Don't know what else to say. The floor was a hard wooden floor, and my H3N 41deg felt a bit fast, so I switched to B2 instead, and it worked like a charm. Of course the sponge is 40deg, so perhaps this made the softer more controlled feel, but this rubber is really sweet.

Review of Friendship/729 Battle II Provincial GoldI just unboxed this. Glued it on a Yinhe V-14 Pro ALC blade. The version is Red, 2.15mm, 40 deg hardness. I'm comparing this to DHS Hurricane 3 NEO H41 Commercial and 729 Battle II Provincial. The main difference at start is the weight. This one is lighter (63g uncut and 47g cut). This makes my setup 6g lighter than with the earlier B2Pro. The feeling when looping is somewhere between H3N and B2Pro. Not that catapult that H3N has, and the feeling is more crisp than with B2Pro. Perhaps because of the lighter rubber. No surprises really, except for the weight then. Really tacky, but a few cleaning sessions makes it a bit more bouncy and less tacky. I'll have to come back when I played more than half an hour.

Review of Friendship/729 Bloom PowerI tried this one in 47 deg hardness on a Yinhe V-14 PRO blade, replacing my DHS H3N 40 deg Provincial 2.15mm. Really, I didn't expect very much from this rubber, but it turned out to be one of the best forehand rubbers I've tested. This one very much reminds me of a mix between H3N and Battle II Provincial. There is a very soft feeling that allows me to easier place the ball where I want, and makes it easier to do slower brushing strokes. Still when adding power when looping, the ball sets off in a speed like the fastest Hurricane rubbers. Spin feels like it's quite close to the harder versions of H3N. One thing I really noticed was that when receiving really heavy backspin serves on my forehand, it was easier to return them, so this feels safer for me anyway. Short game and service feels good as well. Weight uncut/cut: 65/49g

Review of Friendship/729 Battle MAX PRONow I play this rubber in 41deg hardness on forehand on a Sanwei V5 PRO 7-ply wooden blade. The blade is quite hard so this works really good with the hard sponge. I can say that BMP is very tacky. Probably the most tacky hard rubber I ever tried, and the tack stays even after several training sessions. Really fast, quite low throw when brush looping and control is great in pushes, serves and short underspin strokes. The spin is insane, especially after it lost a little bit of tackiness, and I boosted it with one layer of Seamoon Booster, so perhaps that helps a little bit as well. Weight Uncut/Cut: 74g/55g

Review of Globe 9992.0mm H40. Weight uncut: 58g. Cut: 41g. I tried this rubber on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade, replacing my Yinhe Moon Pro Hard on forehand. G999 is a low throw rubber. When performing flat lifting strokes, you have to add more power to get the ball over the net, compared to Moon Pro, Big Dipper, DHS Skyline/Hurricane NEO series. Not quite that kick when brush looping. This is perhaps because of the softer sponge. I had the same feeling with Big Dipper IV, but G999 has much more spin when looping. So this is a quite good rubber though. It's quite good in the short game as well. Very controlled. The biggest problem for me is when brush looping. You have to adjust the angle because of the low throw, and add some more power to the stroke. The trajectory is still quite low and long. I would like to have it a bit higher so it dips faster. The ball often goes long or in the net, because of the narrow marigin you have to fit it in. But in all a quite good rubber for a brush looping game. I have tried many worse rubbers in the same category like Yinhe Big Dipper IV, DHS Hurricane 3-50, Yinhe Saturn Pro, Yinhe Jupiter 2, Sanwei Target National and DHS Hurricane NEO 3 with sponge hardness 37-38.

This rubber is no speed demon at all, but the medium hard sponge and the slightly tacky top sheet makes it really easy to play an offensive looping game. On the other hand the control is superb, making it very easy to play a defensive game, chopping away from the table as well. Great value for your money, and a really good rubber for children, and beginners. It's just a do it all rubber. Weight Uncut/Cut: 61g/47g.

Review of Loki Arthur AsiaI tried this in max (forehand) on a DHS Power G 5X blade. There is carbon in the sponge if I understand it right. Well. It's heavy. 80g uncut and 54g cut. The sponge is so very hard. I'm used to DHS H3N 41deg, but this feels much harder. Compared to H3N, this one has less spin, not very much catapult. Can't say that the control is so good. The top sheet is quite hard as well, so that could be why spin isn't that high. A bit of a disappointment to me. When playing away from the table you have to concentrate on be able to hit the ball so hard that you get it over the net, so the brush looping is just not an option any more.

Review of Loki N80I tried this in Red, Max sponge on a Yinhe V-14 Pro blade (FH). Weight: 70g uncut and 50g cut. Comparing to DHS Hurricane 3 NEO, 2.15mm, 41 deg. The initial feeling is the same when looping. The main differences are: The throw is a bit lower, it's harder (a bit dead) and it feels a bit heavy. Now I have only used this for a robot session, looping forehand, so hopefully I'll be back with more information... ***Update*** Now I played a short session. I'm starting to like this one more. I stood and blocked in a drill. There is a soft feeling when blocking. Not so springy as H3N, just a softer feel that gives much more control when blocking. Looping still have that lowish throw. One thing I noticed is that it's much harder to turn backspin balls than with H3N. Perhaps I have to adjust my strokes a bit... ***Update*** I turned. Now using this one on backhand, instead of my Andro Hexer Grip SFX / Rasanter R37. It gives me a good feeling, and it's not too springy. Really good for backhand blocking topspins etc. Good feeling over all. The grip makes it more dependable for me on my backhand.

Review of Loki T3I tried this one on a Yinhe V-14 PRO ALC blade. This is a really fast rubber. So on my forehand, ususally brush looping, it was just fast with not that much spin, but still very grippy. It gives very fast speed without any effort. So I tried it on my backhand. Very good rubber for blocking and short game. Good control and fast block returns, and a quite low throw that makes the ball hit the table even if playing quite fast. Really interesting new rubber, that works in a different way from most rubbers I've tried before.

Review of Loki RXTON II tried this rubber out glued on to a LOKI Rxton I carbon blade. This is a quite hard combination, so the feeling isn't that soft. The speed is quite low compared to the ususal Yinhe V-14 PRO and DHS H3 41deg I'm used to. Although that this is a really low price setup, it's really playable, and the spin is there when brushing the ball. Not like H3, but similar to Palio HK1997 Gold, but harder sponge. The top sheet feels like it's really good quality like the rest of the Rxton series.

Review of Loki RXTON 3I tried this one on a Sanwei M8 wooden blade. I had the LOKI Rxton V on the other side, expecting to use Rxton III on my backhand because it's softer than Rxton V. Now this didn't work out as intended. I used R III on my forehand. This one of the LOKI Rxton series, is the one most like DHS H3N. Not quite the spin and speed as H3N has, but close enough to be a good forehand rubber for me. Now I had an Allround blade instead of my offensive ALC blade, so it's hard to compare precisely. The sponge is similar to H3 in hardness and feel, and the top sheet feels very crisp and looks like it's really high quality as well. Weight: Uncut/Cut: 70g/54g

Review of Loki RXTON 5Quite fast rubber with a hard sponge. It feels harder than a H3 41deg, and the throw angle is quite low. Very spinny and good speed. It ended up on my backhand because I thought the Rxton III was a better match with my forehand. What I felt was that it was really controllable compared to my H8-80 38deg I'm used to on backhand. Easy to use in the short game, pushing, backspin, services. It requires good technique to do backhand topspins due to the hard sponge, but lifting and playing from a distance is really ok with this rubber.

Review of Nittaku Sieger PK502.0mm version on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade, forehand side. Weight cut: 49g. I had hoped for a bit more from this rubber. Now I'm used to play with harder Chinese rubbers like DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 41 deg and Yinhe Moon Pro Hard. The sponge is not as hard as H3N 41deg, but a bit harder than MP. The tacky topsheet is somehow a bit softer than the Chinese rubbers. I had a hard time looping backspin. It often went into the net. I know that this is a German rubber, so comparing with these Chinese rubbers may be a bit misleading. I thought that this one should be similar to Chinese hard rubbers, with its tacky topsheet and hard sponge, but it's not. Short game is good, and it's easy to generate heavy spin in all directions. When looping, the feel you get is that the ball digs in to the rubber in a way that H3N and MP doesn't. Therefore, when playing Chinese style brush looping, you don't get the fast and direct effect that you get with H3N and MP. Of course I should play more with Zieger to give it a chance to show it's qualitys. I've only used it for an hours training yet. *** Update *** Now I tried it on a TSP Reflex 50 Award OFF wooden blade. The feeling was totally different. Even though that the blade is fast, Zieger worked much better with this wooden blade. Better feeling, better loops. Just better.

Review of PimplePark BloxxI tried Bloxx in 1.9mm on a Sanwei Accumulator S, 5-ply wooden blade. I'm used to playing with harder Chinese rubbers like DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 41deg, so I'm comparing to that then. Bloxx is a very grippy rubber and has a lot of tackiness. Even though, it's not that spinny as a H3N. There's anyway quite good spin potential and it's very controllable due to it's fairly low speed. The feeling isn't that soft and you get a Chinese kind of feeling with this one. Brush looping is quite easy, but the throw is low, so I had to adjust a little bit from H3N. Short game, services is really good and controlled, and this is what this rubber is. A very controllable rubber with good spin capabilities and the ball don't just flies away, you have to work a bit to play good with this one, kind of like with Chinese rubbers. According to the manufacturer, this rubber isn't tacky, but my copy was quite tacky. Weight Uncut/Cut: 68g/51g

STN is clearly heavier than DHS H3N and very much heavier than Big Dipper. Brush looping has not the same effect as with Yinhe Big Dipper or DHS Hurricane/Skyline NEO rubbers. Perhaps a bit nicer in the short play because of the harder sponge. I feel the throw is quite low as well, and the speed is not near the previous mentioned rubbers, so it makes playing away from the table quite difficult. Review of Sanwei Gear HyperI tried this rubber in 37, 38 and 39 deg on a couple of Sanwei blades. The 37 deg on a fast Sanwei V5 PRO (wooden blade) gave me lots of control without any loss in speed. It works really good as an offensive weapon, looping fast and easy to place the ball where I want to. The 38 and 39 deg I glued on a Sanwei HC-5S (Soft carbon blade). This setup is so nice. Even though I'm used to faster blades and H3N etc. this setup gave me sufficent speed and is a controlled looping machine. Even though the rubbers are a bit harder, on a slower blade they really shine in the offensive play. They are not as bouncy as regular tensor rubbers like Tenergy, DNA etc, so the control in the short game is great, and when I want to attack both the speed and spin is there. Even chopping works really well :) The speed, spin, control is for the 38deg. Add and remove about 0.2 in speed and control for the softer and harder versions. Weight around 50g cut to a normal blade.

Review of Sanwei Target 90I tested this rubber on a Sanwei EX-C Froster blade. Sanwei Target 90 is an offensive rubber that is quite good in every aspect. It could be very good for players developing their skills, because it's not really as fast or spinny as for example DHS H3N. It got a softer feel and it's quite easy to place the ball where you want it, so if you want a reliable forehand rubber for a fast and controlled looping game without having to sacrifice control, then this might be something for you.

I don't know if it's the Haitian blade that gives so good feeling, but the control is better in many ways. One thing I use to have problem with is my flat hits and smashes. With this setup, I didn't miss many of these. And the sensation of smashing was quite a bit faster than with my ordinary setup. New STN is a stiffer rubber than H3 41deg, and the speed is significantly higher. The throw is a bit lower because of the higher speed and harder rubber, but that helps when attacking. I feel that the short game too is easier to perform, and serves are as spinny as with H3. Brush looping is almost as easy as with H3, as it's almost as tacky as H3. Ordinary harder loops have more power and are quite easy to perform as well. Highly recommended if you want to add another dimension to your H3 game play. I also tried the older STN a couple of years ago, and this rubber isn't anything like the old, heavy, stiff STN I recall. Weight Uncut/Cut: 61g/49g.

Review of Stiga DNA Pro HI tried this in 2.1mm on a DHS Power G5 blade (Forehand). I'm coming from DHS H3N Commercial and 729 Battle II Provincial harder versions. This one is a totally different rubber, but it worked just fine for me. The main difference comes when brush looping. The DNA grips the ball, but there isn't that direct kick or catapult feeling that you get with Chinese rubbers. Instead the ball sinks into the sponge, giving the feel that "this loop wasn't any good", but the spin is there. Perhaps a bit slower than H3N/BII in that stroke. More flat hits are faster than the Chinese rubbers, and I feel better control doing them. The short play and services feel fine as well. No problem doing short pushes and short spinny services. Over all a very nice controlled rubber with good speed and spin, but as said, I'm used to harder Chinese rubbers on forehand. This rubber is a bit on the heavy side. Weight 54g cut to normal blade.

Review of Tibhar Aurus SoundBlack, 2.1mm on a 729 V-6 blade. I tried this on my backhand, looking for a cheaper substitute for Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft. The feeling I get is that the Aurus Sound is just a little bit behind in most aspects. The speed is perhaps a bit higher. The spin is a bit lower. The dwell time is lower. I think that the physical feeling of rubber/sponge when you grab it is the same as R7S, but Aurus Sound feels a bit more stiff when you play. Blocking is ok, but not as good as R7S. Top spin isn't as easy as with R7S because of the lower dwell time. Pushing is easier with R7S. It tends to go longer with Aurus Sound. Aurus Sound will be better for a more aggressive backhand play, with perhaps more flat hard strokes than my more top spin/passive block oriented play. Aurus Sound feels lighter than the heavy Rakza 7 Soft. I have also tried Yasaka Rigan for backhand, and I can say that Aurus Sound is somewhere in between Rigan And Rakza 7 Soft. These rubbers can't be compared to DHS H3N, Yinhe Big Dipper and other Chinese tacky rubbers regarding spin and speed at all. These are just made for controlled play and mainly backhand, according to me. Good rubbers for the beginners forehand, to learn looping. Weight cut, Max: 38g

Review of TSP Ventus SoftI tried this TSP Ventus Soft, Black, Max on a 729 V6 blade on my backhand. I come from using Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft and Tibhar Aurous Sound. This rubber is better in all aspects. Blocking: Easy. Sometimes I get surprised that my blocks hits the table, thinking they should go long. Topspin: Quite easy as well. Good grip and the sponge gives a bit more speed that Rakza 7 Soft. The ball digs into the sponge in a nicer way. Pushing: Tends to go long from time to time. Perhaps I just need to adjust a bit. Easier to place the ball where you aim compared to the other rubbers. Not so spin sensitive, so that's nice and a bit strange because of the grip of this rubber. This rubber is quite light. Somewhere comparable to Aurus Sound. Rakza 7 Soft is much heavier. Now I have used this rubber a little longer, and it still feels great. It's quite easy to add/disguise a bit of topspin to the counter strikes, and makes it go long for your opponent. ***Update*** Tried it in 1.8mm as well. Even easier to return all kind of balls. A few grams lighter and easier to do flat hits because of the thinner sponge. After about 100 hours of use the rubber start to fall apart a bit in the outer regions, without any physical impact. Perhaps because of removing and adding the edge tape 5-7 times, but it's still a bit fragile. Weight cut, Max: 44g, 1.8mm: 42g

Review of TSP Regalis RedWeight uncut: 59g. Weight cut: 42g. Tried this on my backhand, coming from TSP Ventus Soft and Spin versions. This is in max sponge. It's a bit to fast for my backhand. The throw is a bit low, and because of the sponges relative hardness I have problems topspinning. I didn't try it on my forehand, but I can imagine that it would be good for looping, when you put a lot of power in the strokes.

Review of Xiom Tau III tried this in Max on a Yinhe V-14 Pro blade. Weight Uncut/Cut 76/53g. Comparing to DHS H3N 41 deg. When I first started my try out, it felt like a H3N. But Tau II is more bouncy. Not a super bouncy rubber, but it's like a H3N with a tiny European touch. Of course. It's made in Germany, so... The control is better. It's got a bit softer feel than H3N. The sponge should be 54deg. That could be about the same as H3N 41deg? I wonder if the H3N might be a bit more direct when looping very hard, but the Tau II is really nice. Black carbon sponge. Now I've played for another 1½ hour, and Tau II can do everything that H3N can do. Tau II has a softer feel, and perhaps works better from a bit further away from the table. Now I've played another two hours with Tau II. The H3N kick isn't quite there. I've found that out playing with some better players, and they don't have the same problem with my brush loops as they had when I used H3N. Tau II has a bit nicer feeling, and gives you better control in the ordinary looping game, but as I'm chasing this "kick", I tend to put too much power in my strokes and often go long or wide.

Review of Yasaka Rakza 7 SoftRed Max on a 729 V-6 blade. I've tried this for about an hour of warming up (will play more soon). On forehand it's easy to loop and brushloop, but the top spin effect isn't so great compared to Chinese rubber such as Big Dipper, Hurricane 2/3 NEO etc., but control is super. Quite slow though. 200207: Now I have this in black, Max, on my back hand. This is a much nicer experience. Soft and slow. Easy to top spin. The ball sinks into the sponge and makes the dwell time long. Easy doing backspin serves as well. The only down side for me, is that it's quite heavy in Max sponge. I'm coming from using 729 Focus III Snipe on backhand, that is very light compared to this Rakza 7 Soft. I also tried the Tibhar Aurus Sound in 2.1mm Black to see if it was better than R7S for me, but sadly it was a tad worse in most ways.
On backhand, coming from 729 Focus III Snipe, it's even softer than the F3S H42 sponge. The grip is much better, and it's quite easy to flick and top spin. Blocking is extraordinary easy. The balls just sinks into the sponge, and very rarely it goes too long.
For me, this is a backhand rubber with quite good spin and superb control. Weight cut, Max: 49g

Review of Yasaka RiganBlack, Max sponge. I use it for backhand. A little too springy sponge for my backhand. Not so long dwell time then. Not so forgiving when doing topspin. You have to hit the ball at the right time with the right stroke. Counter blocking works fine, and ordinary blocking as well. Backspin is good, and gives much more spin than looping does. I tried it on forehand for looping, and there isn't any real dangerous spin at all. Now I'm comparing this to Chinese DHS/Yinhe rubbers regarding the looping part.

Review of Yinhe Big DipperI'm using this 2.2mm H38 Red version on forehand on a 729 V6 blade. I usually have a DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 2.2mm H39 on my forehand, but lately I'm starting to loop too long with this. Perhaps more often when playing on hard wooden floors etc. So I tried this instead. It's almost as spinny as the H3N, so brush looping feels almost the same. The difference was that they didn't go long so often any more. The feeling when making slower strokes etc. is better. More balls on the table here as well. It might even be a bit lighter than the H3N, so It's a big + for me using this rubber instead of the H3N. Flat hits and smashes are better with Big Dipper as well. Update 191104: The DHS NEO Skyline TG2 (2.15mm, H38) is about the same as this BD in many ways. Skyline is a bit faster, but Big Dipper has way more control in all strokes. Great if you are a brush looper away from the table (and close). Weight cut, H38: 45-53g. H40:50g. H40 uncut with plastics on both sides: 71g. H38 uncut with plastics on both sides: 63g. Significant difference in behaviour between H38 and H40. Not so much effect when looping with the H40. The H38 is better in all aspects so far. I have trained one session with the H40, but changing back to H38 for now.

Review of Yinhe Jupiter III tried this Jupiter II (Red, H38) rubber, thinking that it was kind of similar to Big Dipper. Ahhh. It is strangely slow compared to BD and though it's quite tacky there's not a lot of spin either. Brush looping works, but no super effect in any way. The throw is quite low compared to BD. No bigger difficulties to block loops from this rubber, while it's very troublesome blocking BD. This is a big No-No for me... It just feels quite dead :(

Review of Yinhe Apollo 5Apollo 5, Red, H36 glued on a 729 V-6 blade (Forehand). I'm used to the softer versions of DHS Skyline TG2 NEO, Yinhe Big Dipper, DHS NEO Hurricane 3 etc. On flat hits I feel that there's more control than the previous mentioned rubbers. Good for blocking. When it comes to looping, after another training session, it's quite easy to loop with good control. With good foot work and technique this is a looping monster. The throw angle is kind of low. I'm used to rubbers with a bit higher throw, but when I play this, I can't feel that it would be a problem with a lower throw. The ball only goes a bit faster towards my opponent, and that can't be wrong :) There is a nice, almost cracking sound when you hit the ball. Especially on flat hits. I feel that the short game is relative easy as well. The sponge is hard. Harder than the earlier mentioned rubbers. When I used the rubber my first session, it felt much more difficult to use in many ways, but now it feels like the rubber changed after some hours of play. The spin is superior, like the best Chinese rubbers. The speed is not as fast as NEO Hurricane 3/2 or Skyline TG2 NEO. More like Big Dipper then... Weight cut: 51g.

Review of Yinhe Moon ProRed, 2.2mm, Hard version on a Yinhe Mercury Y-13. Weight: 48g cut. This was a pleasant surprise. I thought this would be a bit slower rubber. There is plenty of speed in this one. Brush looping is great, and actually is the short game good as well. Probably because of the quite hard sponge. Flat hits are ok. The throw angle is a bit too low for me, but I'm used to Big Dipper and Hurricane/Skyline NEO series. I'll just have to adjust my swing a bit. This is a really good Chinese rubber. Even though the rubber is so hard, it's easy to do slow lifting loops from under the table. There is more feeling in this than what I've experienced earlier with harder rubbers. It's just the low throw that bothers me right now, but I have used it for two training sessions so far. I can recommend this rubber. The quality feels really solid, and it's a killer when used right. (Update 200720) Now I have changed to using it with the Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade. This blade gives me more control, a bit higher arc and makes my game better in all aspects. Very nice. ***Update 200806*** Now I have tried the Medium hard sponge version. This on the MC-4 carbon blade as well. Not thrilled at all. This one is slow compared to the Hard version. The Hard was domed when unboxing and the Medium was not. Looks like it's the same sponge, but the Hard was treated in some way. About the same throw, but brush looping has no edge. Too slow to be really dangerous. I would rate this Speed: 6.8, Spin: 8, Control: 8. This is quite similar to the Globe 999 H40, with a little higher throw and slightly better control.

Review of Yinhe Big Dipper IVWeight uncut 62g. Weight cut to normal blade 47g. I tried this one training session for two hours. Red 2.2mm H38 on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade. I have used the original Big Dipper, and some other Yinhe rubbers before. This was a disappointment. It feels really slow. The sponge is someway softer than BD. Brush looping needs all power you got to get the strikes done. And then there's not so much spin. Ok. It's quite good spin, but not like the original BD, Moon Pro or DHS Hurricane/Skyline NEO series. I cant see that this is the same sponge as the original BD. It's not pre-glued like BD. This is really a step down in all aspects except control. The control is better, mainly because it's slower I guess.
