Palio Blitz

Hi guys! I gave this rubber an overall score of 8 only because it is not cheap and there are better or same rubbers, that are cheaper. This is a german ESN rubber. I got a red 42.5 degree hard one and it perfoms just like a Baracuda Big Slam but with an updated sponge. So like an Acuda P2 with a Baracuda topsheet. So this is not a chinese style rubber this is a true euro/jap rubber, that represents a standard and good quality. Blocking, looping, counterlooping was very enjoyable. My only problem is the price, in my country, the most expensive Joola and Donic rubbers cost the same. So here I can buy a better rubber for the same price. But if you live in a country where these/other brands are quite expensive, give this rubber a try, because it is good, without any shortcomings. The 42.5 version is ideal for ALL+ to OFF- play. When cut on blade the max thickness 42.5 hard weighs around 45 gramms (159x151 mm Butterfly/YinHe head shape).

This is the rubber I was looking for. Great speed, excellent spin, awesome controll. I was using Rakza 7 before Blitz and I was decided to settle down with that setup but just a few minutes with Blitz changed my mind. Blitz has much softer and more grippy top sheet comparing to Rakza and I can open the game much easier. Rakza's speed and power during an opened game is better but Blitz is very close. It suits my game much better because the moment when I open the game is criticall for me and Blitz brings me more confidence in this phase. I guess that pro players have no problems with strong chop balls like me so Rakza is better for them but Blitz is an excellent rubber for an amateur regional level player like me. EDIT (08/2012): Durability is good but it isn't somehow long. It's just average. I practice 3-4 times every week for 2-3 hours and after 3 months the rubber condition is just about to throw it into trash. It plays well but there is no rubber which lasts ages if your style is agressive and play almost every day.

A very versatile rubber, have a couple of years behind the new ones, but it IS the best backhand i have played with I have played with mine 170 times, during a period of 4 years. With Stiga Energy Spray, and Nittaku adhesive cover sheets, that you can wash, the rubber is as new. Nittaku G1, Renanos Hold, or Tibhar MX-P or MX-S fits perfecto with this on bh. The high score is for the bh. Never tried anything s good, and i have tested aprox. 160 rubbers. This has been stuck on at least 10 different blades, so you can be sure it fits all!

A friend recommended this to me as an alternative to a more expensive BTY rubber I was using. I waited a long time to try it and wish I would have switched sooner! I love it! Spins great. I love the way it flat hits and blocks as well. It works well for my game. I play mainly at the table and mid distance. I'm sticking with this for a long time.

Tried it on my BH with a flex blade it's a good overall rubber. Excellent on looping BS, good touch on short game,excellent control, excellent counter loop, has a soft click sound and provides good ball feel. Found it superior to Thor probably due to my blade style.
