This is truly an excellent choice for bh rubber. I have the H- version, but many people may prefer the M+ version. The speed/rebound is FAST. It is just as fast or faster than Dignics 05. Blocks and drives and power shots are all really good. It is so comfortable to use. It produces a long and high arc, and so it feels like it is doing a lot of work for you. You feel very relaxed using this.
While the topsheet is untacky, it still feels grippy enough to execute loops and spin shots.
Came here from a thread that recommended cheap rubbers on Aliexpress. If you are used to Eu/Jp rubber, this is very slow, barely bouncy and require a full movement stroke on your BH. Unboosted. Completely unimpressed with its performance.
My review is for M+. The rating is too low and wrong for this rubber. Even Medium soft version is better than this rating. Medium hard sponge is definitely a bit faster and spinnier than xiom vega europe.By the way, its sponge is not fragile like Vega europe when removing the glue. As you can notice, i use it for bh. i think, medium hadrness equals to 44-45. because i feel it is harder than 42. in my opinon, Medium hardness is the best choice for most people.
I bought High hardness, i feel that this is 48 degree rubber, slightly softer than Dignics 05.
I'll compare this to Butterfly Rozena, i think this is the best comparison because both have around the same characteristics.
I tested on 7 ply off+ blade, both rubbers only backhand.
This rubber has a lot of grip, very similar grip to new sheet of rozena. The speed is in between Bluestorm and Rozena, spin is around the same as Rozena. This rubber felt a bit more spin sensitive, which i like. Blocking is very easy. When opening up against backspin i felt i had enough time on the ball to make a quality shot. The arc is in between T05 and Rozena, it is decent high throw. Serves are decent for Tensor based rubbers. Not good compared to hurricane or D09C. Flicks are easy and safe, speed and spin are above avarage for €40 rubber. I used for 10 hours and feels slightly slower when new. This rubber is factory boosted i believe, so 15% less speed after 2 weeks. Overall i believe this rubber is decent. Softer versions might be worse, maybe awkward throw. If only they had a red version. The blue topsheet stains balls.
BH: M12 (H- , 43g) and FH: J3A (40, 46.8g) on Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki (Stuor NZLC) (87.5g). Since this is a BH rubber, I tend to prefer the hardest sponge offering (H-) to pair with one of my stiff+hard blades (Stuor NZLC) mainly for quicker response and faster (speed should be much higher at 8.9 than the low average 8.3 given) attacks (flick, loopdrive, loop) all with high control (9/10 with good techniques). Even at H-, the hard Stuor NZLC allows M12 to be easily compressed to produce addictive gunshots sound during power backhand flick-smash (similar to AK47R but with better control). It was better with backspin / spinny serve than J3A on this blade that I will switch M12 over to forehand during serve. Control is high to have accurate placement be it chops or attacks. The top sheet is more glossy than matte and is likely to last very long (more durable than AK 47 Red "AK47") and is an excellent alternative to my AK47 (40g). I prefer M12 to AK47R for a heavier setup on Stuor NZLC. This is a keeper as it is only a few dollars more than AK47R but significantly more durable.
