Grip-S Europe was developed in combination with Vladimir Samsonov and adapted to his personal requirements in order to produce a high-performance rubber. The rubber convinces by its high catapult effect and compared to the regular Grip-S, Grip-S Europe confers more dynamic and speed. Under extreme strokes the ball contact onto the stable and adhering rubber surface is unequalled and opens even in almost desperate situations, absolute new possibilities. We have integrated the revolutionary RPS Sponge- Technology into Grip-S Europe, thus enabling the energy transfer to have an absolute optimal effect on the speed of the ball rebounce and on the ball trajectory. With this rubber you are best equipped for a variety-rich serve and return game.
An hybrid rubber, cumulating euro/jap and chinese properties.
1- Euro/Jap genom : speed (8,5/10), "punchy" Red Sponge, amazing grip, high throw
2- Chinese properties adjunction : slightly tacky topsheet, permanent control (>> average control of same generation tensors), some gears, sound (light broken-ball sound), hard and compact pre-tuned sponge.
I use 1,8 mm black version. Sponge is around 44°, topsheet is more 42°. This rubber always reacts the same, wich is very comfortable. Grip-S Europe really shines at mid-distance tospins, considering it is very efficient close to the table too (pushes/first topspin)
Amazing control compared to ESN tensors, but speed has not been sacrified at all.
A very complete OFF rubber, that does everything very well, even chopping and blocking. Provides safe feeling to its user. Great!
this rubber is just fantastic you can put very much speed and spin on every shot with an unbelievable control i put this rubber on a joola mc1 blade and speed and spinfeeling is just amazing i recommand it to all pro-players!!
Very powerful and spiny. I use it in 2,0mm on defensive blade on forehand side and it's amazing how speed and spin it can produce. Whit this rubber defensive blade becomes all in drive and loops. Good for chop. I think it's very underrated.
I used this for about 8 months before switching to Skyline 3 Neo. I had it in 1.8 on the forehand. Grip-S Europe gives you the best of both worlds. It's got the tackiness of Chinese rubbers and the speed of European tensors. The result is a rubber that produces great serves and looping. You can produce great amounts and varieties of spin on serves, block consistently, and the looping is great from many distances. The weakness of many rubbers like this is the pushing, but it is surprisingly easy. Only use this on the forehand, because its high throw angle seems the most natural on forehand strokes. I recommend Grip-S Europe to loopers who attack with or use their forehand a lot and use mainly forehand serves. However, if you are a person who hates hard rubbers or doesn't like a "woody" feeling when you hit the ball, you could try it in 2.0mm. This rubber is very underrated. I'm impressed, Tibhar!
Heavy rubber, 52 grams cut to Tibhar Stratus Powerwood. Very grippy topsheet, not tacky at all. Sponge is harder than Omega IV Pro and Sigma Pro. Very good spin but also very reactive to spin. Looping on backhand away from table quite nice with some catapult but seemed slow when chopping or pushing. Fast when hit properly, Interesting rubber, at the moment I am leaning to Omega IV pro on Backhand as allround game better in attack and defence. This would probably suit those who prefer chinese style rubber with some Euro qualities.
