This rubber is made in China but it was designed to copy Euro style and does so very well. It is an Allround rubber with about the same catapult effect as a Sriver, which is great for beginners or advanced control oriented players. Both (red and black) have very grippy topsheet with a little tack, which makes sense while copying European rubbers. It can create stronger spin then Sriver or Friendship RICT but less then Hurricanes. It has a small response to boosting, completly different from a typical chinese sponge. Currently it is my favorite forehand rubber. 2.2 mm 62-65g uncut, 47 g cut for 158x150 blade.

These are very reliable, consistent, controllable rubbers with good speed and spin. Works for both backhand and forehand. I use these for testing new blades because they're so consistent and give a great feeling of the ball. I use 1.5mm forehand (I like to throw in chop/blocks randomly in rallies, thinner sponge helps with those) and 2.2mm backhand.

I could have actually made the following statement years ago! - I don't know whether to find it funny or ridiculous that this rubber is rated worse than its 100 percent identical counterpart (the Palio CJ 8000 EXTREME Spin!!!) Revised !!! ... every year again. ;-P - and still, after many years, one of the best rubbers (at AliExpress!) under 12 dollars in all aspects (spin, speed, control, catapult, trajectory, weight, also available in 1.5 to 2.2 mm thickness) !!! ... perfect for beginners and advanced players alike. - however, you shouldn't use very hard blades. Softer ones are recommended for this !!! The sponge hardness is specified as 36 to 38° (Chinese), which corresponds to an international hardness of 45 degrees. Overall, I consider this rubber to be completely underrated. On the German market, this rubber is sold under the name Palio CJ 8000 Spin. I compared the two many years ago and they are definitely identical! Here are a few facts: Black rubber, max. 62 g. / red, max. 64 g. Max. corresponds to 2.2 mm, both specifications are for uncut (including protective film!). The black rubber weighs 43 g when cut and measures 157 x 150 mm. Black 1.5 mm rubber band, 56 g. Uncut, including film. Conclusion: Perfect for beginners and advanced users, or as a bra lining. ... and definitely worth a try for those on a budget. - In my opinion, you'll hardly find a rubber band on the German market for under €20 that's significantly better!

Currently my BH rubber and i love how easy it is for me to play RPB strokes on my 729 Z1 CPen. I had difficulties with NEO TG 2 and Yinhe Yupiter 3 Asia on my BH. Those require solid strokes and do not forgive crappy blocks. This one on the other hand allows me to use my BH freely and develop a proper movement with more confidence. And now I'm looking forward to try porous blue sponge versions of this rubber. Also this rubber is one of the best for beginners on slower blades as its great for developing stroke.

This is a review for Palio CJ8000 Purple Sponge 2.0mm 36-38° Color Black. Uncut it was 61g, and cut it is 42g, which I define as light for inverted. Peeled and glued right out of the package it will pick up a ball 2 inches or so when pressed from above, which I define as slightly tacky, less tacky than the brand new Tenergy I put on the other side of the blade. The sponge is a bouncy Japanese style, and it pairs nicely with the topsheet for allaround play on my backhand. Good control blocking, pushing, hitting, and looping, no doubt some of this control comes from the lack of speed. Overall a great value for it's cost.
