Ultra light sponge that is very soft. The sponge doesn't give even close enough speed for a thin contact loop. On harder contact, the rubber often bottoms out.
Requires a position motion even on passive blocks, or the balls would likely to end in the net.
Fairly insensitive to incoming spin though, which would help with the service returns.
This rubber was a serious looping machine in the glue days, but in the post glue era, there are much, much better options at half the price.

this is my go-to backhand rubber. I don't even consider anything else. the Ultra Light has everything I've ever wanted in a rubber, except maybe a little speed, but it never worries me. it has great control, spin, durability and it's as light as it gets. the speed and feel get better with glue (although that's been banned). without regular gluing, it starts to feel a little dead (as does everything else), but is still one of the best offensive rubbers around. give it a try and you'll always be happy with it.

I put this rubber on my 7 ply all-wood blade, I am looking for controllable on every aspect in its blade, thus I chose this rubber.
After several hours playing, I feel this a good choice for me. I am looking the lightweight rubber with decent speed but good in control, and this rubber have a medium-low throwing angle.
I will update the durability and any aspect, soon.

Its a good rubber for a defender(in FH).The throw angle is to low, always in net!You must practice a lot with this rubber to play well.VERY good for control after opponents hi-spin!
Is a nice def/all rubber for an average player...
